In the past, even those unable to follow the proper path had sometimes relied on luck and wisdom to find the door to the Root, ascending to the heavens in a single step. Although most were merely fleetingly fortunate individuals who still vanished into history, the evidence of their existence could not be erased. The True Magic they brought back from the Root was the best proof.
The planet would not permit the emergence of such dangerous elements capable of destroying it with a single blow. It would use every means available to halt their advance.
