Roland and Othinus activated the Blue Dream Creation Program, transforming Earth into a vast Nationwide Transmutation Circle to create a temporary powerhouse and draw the Demon Gods into an absolute battlefield. Roland then used his power to pull magnetic-field-bearing planets from across the universe toward the Solar System, setting the final confrontation in motion.
Roland and Aiwass transformed the universe through a battle among its planets, allowing Aiwass to gain authority over a newly strengthened Physical Phase. With the plan’s initial steps complete, Roland asked Aiwass to help him cultivate.
Roland received Aiwass's blessing, which connected him to the universe's energy and strengthened his plans to surpass the Demon Gods and escape the Throne. Days after the universe was remade, Mikoto Misaka told Misaki Shokuhou that Othinus had suddenly vanished.
Misaki Shokuhou and Mikoto Misaka discovered that the Demon Gods had arrived and launched a global attack, prompting the Blue Dream Company to mobilize its forces. As the battle spread, Nephthys and Niangniang met Laura, who offered to join them in pursuing her own wish and fulfilling the Contract.
Misaki Shokuhou and Accelerator defended Academy City from a giant Earth monster, only for the Demon God Bishop to reveal himself as the attacker. Meanwhile, Roland returned from his transformation and resolved to celebrate by killing a Demon God.
Misaki Shokuhou and the others confronted the High Priest, a Demon God who wanted to test the world and offer them a chance to correct it. After the High Priest attacked them and dismissed their chances of victory, Roland arrived and struck him.
Roland returned to face Bishop after absorbing Aiwass's power, and he declared complete confidence in winning the war. Bishop denied fearing death, but Roland exposed his fear before the two Demon Gods began fighting.
Roland overwhelmed Bishop, who used the power of the six paths to create a defensive domain and endure the fight until the other Demon Gods arrived. Roland shattered Bishop’s domain with a blow that pierced his chest, leaving his fate unclear.
Roland killed Bishop with the Godslaying Strike, but the attack’s aftershock began tearing the world apart. Niangniang and the other Demon Gods arrived, repaired the damage, and surprised Roland with an invitation.
Roland surveyed the assembled Demon Gods as Nephthys offered terms to avoid war: they would leave his freedom and the people he cared about untouched if he transformed the world into a framework that could contain them. Although Roland agreed that the offer was attractive, he rejected it and declared that he would take the world by defeating them all.
Roland rejected Nephthys’s proposal to share power and declared that battle would decide who claimed the world. As Gremlin’s Demon Gods launched their assault and Chimera and Proserpina froze the Present World to constrain him, Roland summoned a trillion-degree fireball.
Roland held off the Demon Gods as they attacked with their signature powers, but a sudden assault from the Cthulhu Mythos briefly disrupted his mind. The Demon Gods coordinated their attacks and engulfed him, leaving the battle at a critical turning point.
Nephthys and the other Demon Gods attacked Roland in a coordinated attempt to wound him and alter the world’s Phase, but Roland countered their assault with the Holy Right. The chapter ends with him overpowering Nephthys’s Phase change and demanding that the Demon Gods submit to his truth.
Roland altered Nephthys’s inserted Phase while the Demon Gods tried to keep him occupied, then revealed that he had completed a formula for victory. He destroyed their combined attack with a single punch and killed the Demon God of the Cthulhu Phase.
Roland erased the Cthulhu Demon God and overwhelmed Tezcatlipoca, leaving the Demon Gods terrified and confused about his power. He explained that he had been waiting for the right conditions to fully digest the {Complete Formula Solver}, though the world had not yet been destroyed.
Roland revealed that he had become a Complete Formula Solver who could analyze and manipulate the formulas behind the universe and the Demon Gods. After explaining how he used the Demon Gods’ own plans and Zombie’s Infinite Mirror Magic Formula to secure his advantage, he watched them flee and unleash attacks to destroy the world, then offered to make a new one.
Roland used Ideal Exile to remove the Demon Gods from the present world, trapping them in a separate realm where they could wield their power freely. Nephthys escaped in a remnant body, but Roland found her on the moon, and she realized her instincts already made her submit to him.
Roland confronted Nephthys, who refused to submit unless he proved that resistance was useless, and discovered her contingency was already unfolding. Laura Stuart revealed herself as Coronzon and mortally wounded Aleister with the Damocles sword, declaring that the old era's powers were now challengers.
Nephthys explained how Laura had betrayed Roland to fulfill Coronzon’s Contract by killing Aleister, but Aleister survived by revealing that he had sealed countless possibilities within himself. As Laura moved to finish him, Aleister’s body recovered and manifested a strange power called the Asura Immortality Art, while Roland revealed that the apparent reversal had also been anticipated.
Aleister regenerated from Laura’s attacks through the Asura Immortality Art and resolved to fight his final battle against Coronzon. He left Laura’s ultimate strike crumbling his body, but caught the forbidden sword and seized her hand, taking control of the fight.
Aleister used his and Laura’s shared Abyss-summoning magic to trap them in a reverse ritual, then launched the Windowless Building into space to reach a new realm. The journey brought them to the Golden Throne, where they encountered Roland.
Roland revealed that he had maneuvered Coronzon into serving as his guide for another ascent through the Abyss, and Laura tried to destroy herself and Aleister rather than submit to him. Roland summoned Sajyou Manaka, who helped subdue Laura and declared herself Roland’s mother, leaving Laura furious and disbelieving.
Roland explained that he had arranged for Aleister to die so he could use Aleister’s remaining possibilities and Laura’s value together to fulfill his plans. He revealed that he intended to awaken from the dream sustaining the world and confront the Angel of Heaven of Heavens, then asked Aleister to link the fire in his place.
Roland used Aleister’s possibilities to link the fire and escape the Golden Throne without waking the Serpent of the Sixth Heaven, then announced his resurrection. In Academy City, the girl who had inherited Aleister’s name learned the world had at least a day left and watched over Lilith Crowley as they awaited Roland.
Roland held the resurrected Lilith in a steel garden while she struggled to accept that Aleister, her father, had become a woman. Lilith realized the garden was the embryonic form of Roland’s plan to imitate a vast cosmic structure and prepare for the threat endangering the world.
