Chapter 56: An ace up SDS's sleeve
In an office at the Police Box.
Luo Shu and Mika arrived together. An officer from the special operations team was also there.
He was a stern-faced man with wavy black hair, dressed in an immaculate black suit. Upon meeting them, he greeted Mika first.
"Mr. Mika, we meet again."
"It has been a while, Maki."
Mika nodded in response, then turned to Luo Shu and said:
"This is Shiro Maki, a carbon-element Sorcerer. He's the captain of the special operations team and holds the rank of major."
After the introduction, Mika patted Luo Shu on the shoulder and said to Shiro Maki:
"This is Luo Shu, our newest member at SDS. He's the one who discovered and repelled Sharon the Pure this time."
"Oh? Is that so?" Hearing this, Shiro Maki gave Luo Shu a surprised look, then remarked, "It seems Chief Tachibana has recruited another prodigy!"
Watching the exchange between them, Luo Shu's lips twitched, but he decided not to interject.
After all, he was merely a newcomer accompanying Mika as an observer. Getting them familiar with his face was enough; there was no need to do anything unnecessary.
