"Where is Nannan?" The little girl hugged a rag doll in one hand and rubbed her sleepy eyes with the other, looking around in bewilderment.
"Brother Jiang Zhu, and Sister Ruyu..." Xiao Nannan opened her eyes wide, shook off her daze, dropped her rag doll, and ran over happily.
Yan Ruyu scooped her up dotingly, chatted with her, and roasted meat for her.
Everyone rejoiced. Jiang Zhu had returned as an emperor, and Xiao Nannan had awakened too. These twin blessings brought heartfelt smiles to every face.
"And me! This great one has come out of seclusion too!" Divine Child came bounding over.
He was the same little fatty from back then, still sealed inside crystal-clear Immortal Source, naked and just as fair and plump as ever.
Laughter and cheerful voices filled the hall. Xiao Nannan sat obediently beside Yan Ruyu, taking little bites of precious spirit meat roasted golden and dripping with fat, her large eyes narrowing into satisfied crescents.
Divine Child bounced around inside the Immortal Source, drawing waves of laughter.
"Heavenly Emperor Jiang, Gai Jiuyou has come to visit!" Just then, a calm voice came from outside the hall.
Everyone looked over and saw a sickly old man walking slowly into the Great Hall. Behind him followed a woman in white, stunningly beautiful, with a trace of innate pride and coolness between her brows.
They were none other than Gai Jiuyou and his disciple, Xia Jiuyou!
