At Saint Emperor Mountain, Dongfang Taiyi and Old Madman used the Void Mirror to expose four major powers conspiring to divide the Sun God Sect's legacy. They annihilated the Ziwei Divine Dynasty, the Heavenly Demon Alliance, Nether Ridge's Longevity Temple, and the Primordial Demon Sect, leaving the assembled cultivators stunned.

• Li Tian proposed that Jiang Zhu help capture Yi Qingwu so he could use her as a cultivation cauldron, but Jiang Zhu rejected him and left with Yan Ruyu.
• Dongfang Taiyi and Old Madman activated the Void Mirror and revealed representatives of four major powers plotting with the Golden Crow Clan to seize the Sun God Sect's legacy.

Dongfang Taiyi punished the powers that colluded against the Sun God Sect, and Jiang Zhu and the others performed a day-long ceremony for the Sun Saint Emperor. They confronted Yin Tiande at Eight Sceneries Palace, where Jiang Zhu killed Yin Tianzhi and the boy; Yin Tiande then brought forth a powerful purple-gold gourd.
