High above, the myriad daos rumbled and shook violently. At the same time, astonishing bursts of immortal light erupted from the great Life Forbidden Zones that had stood upon the Eastern Wasteland for hundreds of thousands of years.
Yet as He Mu's pronouncement finally fell silent, all of this suddenly subsided, as though time had stopped at that very moment.
Of course, that stillness was only an illusion. In the next instant, a tremendous upheaval erupted across the Eastern Wasteland.
Countless Chains of Order shot straight out of the void, radiating a supreme aura that transcended the myriad heavens and surpassed the limits of the human dao. They brutally shattered every obstruction in their path. Even the vast myriad daos of the universe could only quake and tremble beneath this mighty power.
At this sight, ancient beings within the great forbidden zones blanched. Such power had utterly exceeded the bounds of their understanding and knowledge. At this moment, even the Ancient Venerables who had once ruled every corner of the myriad heavens, invincible above and below, could no longer maintain their composure.
The truth proved that there had never been any genuine "fearlessness" in this world. When someone believed there was nothing he feared, either he knew and understood so much that he was confident he had everything under control, or he knew nothing of what lay before him, and was merely fearless in his ignorance.
The Supremes slumbering within the forbidden zones all belonged to the first category. They were confident that no power could stand above the Extreme Dao. In their eyes, even He Mu had never previously exceeded those bounds.
