Even though Heaven Venerable Daode did not know the Bronze Gate's origins, he recognized something of its wondrous nature and inevitably wanted to study and test it.
After He Mu made his attempt, Heaven Venerable Daode tried his hand as well.
In this probing attempt, Heaven Venerable Daode brought out virtually every means at his disposal. He merged with heaven and earth through the true meaning of nature, and the revolving Yin-Yang Great Dao could grind almost anything into oblivion, nearly breaking through everything. Yet ultimately, he could not breach that mighty pressure.
After his attempts proved fruitless, Heaven Venerable Daode could only accept this fact alongside He Mu. They set the Bronze Gate aside for the moment, filled in the Immortal Tomb again, and turned to comprehending the Road to Immortality.
Thereafter, the phenomena of Heaven Venerable Daode's Dao enlightenment emerged from time to time within the Immortal Mausoleum, while He Mu watched and reflected from the side, gaining some insights by drawing parallels.
The Severed Road to Immortality blazed with light, revealing the myriad Daos of the Immortal Road. Yin-Yang Dao intent resonated with the Way of Nature upon Heaven Venerable Daode, while He Mu likewise demonstrated the many transformations of Wuliang immortal light.
All manner of phenomena appeared endlessly within the Immortal Mausoleum: Purple Qi Comes from the East, Lotuses Bloom in the Void, Ten Thousand Zhangs of Divine Radiance, Myriad Gods Patrol the Heavens... They filled the entire sky of the Immortal Mausoleum.
Amid all this, the years passed swiftly, like a white steed flashing past a crack, never to return.
Soon, three hundred years had passed. Heaven Venerable Daode had also gained insights into the Road to Immortality and returned the Severed Road to He Mu.
