He Mu helped the Lord of the Forbidden Zone and his two Dao attendants stabilize their remnant consciousnesses with the Nine Secrets: Qian, then left to visit another Immortal King-level forbidden land. He arrived at the Western Mausoleum Realm, where ancient beasts attacked him as soon as he crossed its boundary.
He Mu entered the Western Mausoleum Realm, destroyed the ferocious beasts awakened by a strange Great Dao power, and reached the ancient altar. He awakened the three treasures resting there, which mistook his strength and asked why he had come.
He Mu visited the Three Kings in the Western Mausoleum Realm and rejected their offer to fuse with them, revealing that he stood far above their power. The Three Kings warned him of coming upheavals and again urged him to accept their strength, leaving his response pending.
He Mu persuaded the Western Mausoleum Three Kings to leave seclusion and join the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands after revealing power that suggested he was nearing the Emperor Realm. He then invited them to accompany him to confront an old friend who had deceived him at the end of the Immortal Ancient Era, and they vanished together.
He Mu entered Hundred-Shattering Mountain with the Three Kings of the Western Mausoleum Realm to find Pumo King, the Undying King who had escaped his grasp at the end of the Immortal Ancient Era. He broke through a hidden seal and confronted Pumo King in a desolate inner world.
He Mu confronted the Pumo King, his ancient enemy, and revealed that he had reached the limit of the path as quasi-Immortal Emperor radiance appeared around him. The Pumo King launched a desperate, life-staking attack, and He Mu declared he would slay him in one move.
He Mu destroyed Pumo King with a single Great Sun Sinks in the West, then invited the Western Mausoleum Three Kings to accompany him to Immeasurable Heaven. The Three Kings agreed, and the four departed through a passage to Jade Capital Mountain as Hundred-Shattering Mountain vanished.
After settling the Western Mausoleum Three Kings and arranging for the Nine Heavens' defense, He Mu entered seclusion on Jade Capital Mountain to prepare for becoming an Emperor. During his three-year retreat, war with the Foreign Domain resumed, Shi Hao rose to dominance in the Immortal Ancient Era, and tensions mounted as that realm neared collapse.
As the Immortal Ancient Era collapsed and opened to the outside world, Shi Hao prepared to face the sect masters who were waiting to hunt him. He sent his friends and the Immortal Ancient Era Remnants away, then used a World-Breaking Talisman to leave the small world.
