During a race, any single use of a move to extend the time spent off the ground could not exceed three seconds. Using "Magnet Rise" or "Fly" to float over a long stretch was an outright foul.
Even so, Bronzong's floating turn just now still offered a huge advantage over conventional driving.
Bronzong explained with a series of clangs that the conditions for using this sort of tactic were demanding, too.
The road just beyond that sharp turn happened to be suitable. If the track did not line up so conveniently, making it impossible to adjust the direction beforehand or in midair, turning the car straight into the correct direction the instant it landed would be almost impossible. It would end up flying off the track all the same.

Looking at the game interface, Shen Qi marveled at how badass it was.
Dodo had two souls, corresponding to two differently oriented move pools, and both knew "Magnet Rise."
The male used an obnoxious tactical build and had a high Magnet Rise proficiency of 44%.
The female Porygon had a Special Attack damage-dealing move pool, with a low Magnet Rise proficiency of 21%.
After studying under Bronzong for a little over a day, the 44% proficiency in "Magnet Rise" had risen to 49%.
The proficiency was nearly halfway there, yet it could still improve this rapidly. That was partly thanks to Porygon's strong analytical ability, and partly because Bronzong really did teach well.
Another point worth noting was that the female Porygon's "Magnet Rise" proficiency had risen from 21% to 23%.
The male had clearly been the one on the outside for the past two days. Only at Pokémon High School or Shen Qi's home, in
