After their playful antics, the three finally settled down to chat over tea.
"Now that you two have come up here, you aren't planning to go back down, are you?" Yun Xi asked.
"Yes, now that we're here, we don't plan to return to the Lower Realm. Oh, and we aren't going back to Sin Continent either. Please take us in," Qingyi and Huo Ling'er said.
Yun Xi nodded in surprise. "That's no problem, but aren't you going to bother with Shi Hao anymore?"
"Let him get on with his own business. It's not as though we can help anyway," the two replied casually.
Besides, they and Shi Hao were already past the stage of sweet romance. They were an old married couple now, so there was no need to constantly cling to each other.
"As long as you think that's fine." Yun Xi said no more and nodded her agreement.
This would make the place livelier, which was no bad thing.
And so, Qingyi and Huo Ling'er settled down in Heaven's City, bringing plenty of laughter every day.
Yun Xi and the others did not spend much time pondering cultivation either, because they had all stalled at the perfected Escape One Realm. One step further lay the Supreme realm, but that single step was very difficult.
The suppression in the present Nine Heavens and Ten Earths was far too severe. They would probably have to wait until they reached the Immortal Domain before they could see any hope of breaking through.
Several more decades passed, and the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths, peaceful for so long, finally saw a considerable disturbance.

A peal of thunder erupted high in the Nine Heavens, and three streaks of light crossed the firmament, descending into the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths.
"Could
