The air was silent for a few seconds, then Hugh burst out laughing:

"Save your breath. From the first time I met you at Mr. A's party until now, how many times have you fooled me?"

You think I'd fall for that again?

Do you know what "Flower Bow Tie" is called? Which Pathway did Beyonder? What Sequence is he? Which Pirate faction does he belong to?

"You're the ' Flower Bow Tie '? Didn't you hear what Fors said? There's a rumor that someone took down a whole ship of Pirate by himself. Can you do that? If you're the ' Flower Bow Tie,' then I'm the ' King of the Five Seas, ' Nast! Hahaha, that's hilarious. How could you say something like that?"

"You agree, right, Fors?"

Wiping away the tears of laughter from the corners of her eyes, she looked at her friend seeking approval, only to find the other's expression slightly somber, revealing a thoughtful look.

?

A question mark slowly rose in his mind. Hugh couldn't help but swallow, and asked with suspicion, "Did you all conspire to tease me?"

Fors remained silent.

She recalled the temptations posed by "The World" and "The Hermit" Tarot Club.

At the time, I thought those two were overthinking things, but now it seems that perhaps their probing wasn't unfounded, and that I was the naive one.

"Do I need to conspire with Fors to tease you?" Lorry scoffed, picked up his teacup, took two sips, and said in a calm, unhurried voice:

"First," the "Flower Bow Tie" is named Jodson.

"Secondly, he belongs to the ' Marauder ' Pathway, specifically the ' Fire Thief ' of Sequence 6."

Third, he served as Third Mate on the "Golden Dream" aboard "Vice Admiral Iceberg" Edwina's ship, and his backers were the Church of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom.

After answering Hugh's questions one by one, he smiled at the well-known Bounty Hunter from the East Borough: "Any more questions? I can continue."

As he spoke, he covered most of his face with his hand and activated the power of the "Thousand Illusions" ring, switching back to the "Flower Bow Tie" skin.

Then, he reached into his hand and pulled out a patterned bow tie, tying it around his neck with one hand.

"You you you..." Hugh pointed at Lorry, but couldn't utter a sound as if someone was choking him.

After a long pause, she managed to utter a sentence:

"How could you possibly be a ' Flower Bow Tie '? I don't believe it!"

Believe it or not... Lorry replied in his mind.

In contrast, Fors was much calmer. He frowned and pondered for a moment, first patting Lorry to make him turn back, and then asked in confusion:

"Although I only recently heard about this Great Pirate, he must have existed for a long time, right? You were in Backlund not long ago."

What exactly is going on?

"It's nothing really. Isn't my Sequence 7 ' Mystery Pryer '?" Lorry subtly hinted at the connection between the White Bone Ring and "Vice Admiral Iceberg" Edwina, and briefly explained how he had hoped to temporarily join the "Golden Dream" to explore for the treasure, but was instead invited to replace "Flower Bow Tie" Jodson's identity. He also recounted how, during the initial preparations, he had inadvertently helped Yodson increase her Bounty. The two ladies remained silent for a moment.

"Uh, well..." Hugh still looked incredulous, "You, you really orchestrated those big news stories lately?"

"But you're only Sequence 7. Even if you disguise yourself as Sequence 6 using the corresponding Sealed Artifact, you shouldn't be stronger than the real ' Flower Bow Tie ' Jodson, right?"

"I read in the Newspaper that you killed Sequence 5 Pirate. How did you do that?"

Hugh glanced at her friend, noting that she hadn't included the element of one person taking down a ship full of Pirate; in her opinion, that was simply impossible.

Besides, the other party also said that it was a rumor.

"What do you mean by Sequence 7? It seems like I'm the highest Sequence 7 among everyone here, right?" Lorry glanced at "Sheriff" Hugh with disdain.

She pretended not to see it and continued to stare intently at him.

Lorry, recalling the woman's background, roughly guessed why she was so persistent about this question, and sighed softly, saying:

uuɡu. First update, no typos. You won't see the pinyin suffix in the address input. You can then access the first update site.

"Don't even think about it. You... you can't learn that."

--He worried that Xiu might overthink it, so he changed his mind and added Fors.

"Is it Sealed Artifact?" Hugh persisted, guessing the answer. "You possess a Sealed Artifact of immense power?"

One? Lorry was slightly taken aback, subconsciously counting the incredibly powerful Sealed Artifact in his hand in his mind, and nodded with a dry laugh:

"More or less."

Upon hearing this answer, Hugh sighed, a hint of disappointment in his voice. "So the story about one person wiping out a whole ship of Pirate is also true?"

Lorry hummed in agreement and explained:

"I sneaked onto the ship under cover of darkness and killed them one by one. The strongest was only Sequence 6, which was much easier than taking down that ' Wraith ' before."

"What do you mean by Sequence 6...?" Hugh basically returned the same question verbatim, "It seems that among the people here, no one is above Sequence 6, right?"

After being hit by a boomerang, Lorry sipped his tea in annoyance.

"It's all iced, and you keep drinking it..." Fors saw him reaching for the teapot again, slapped his hand, snatched it from him, and headed to the Kitchen.

Unwilling to be alone with Lorry, Hugh went to the Balcony to tease Albert.

A dozen minutes later, she saw Fors return to the Sofa area with a teapot, then snuggle up to the guy's shoulder, chatting happily about something.

The beaming smile on his friend's face made Hugh change his mind about going back, and he decided to give the two of them some more time alone.

She sat cross-legged on Albert's cotton cushion, watching the black dog roll its eyes.

Ignoring the other's disapproving look, Xiu vigorously stroked the fluffy dog's head a couple of times and said wistfully, "I always feel like we're a bit superfluous staying at home."

Thinking of this, she turned to Albert and teased him:

"How about I move out with you? That way you can help me complete the bounty, digest the Potion faster, and we won't have to bother them."

Albert sighed rather humanely and raised his paw slightly, "First of all, I'm a dog, they won't mind my existence."

After saying that, he raised his paw again. "Then, I came here on my master's orders to protect Ms. Fors."

"Finally..." He frowned, his tone serious, "I told you long ago that the key to digesting the ' Sheriff ' Potion is maintaining order in the jurisdiction. Your method of arresting Criminal everywhere will only slow down the digestion process. Where's your brain?"

Hugh's expression froze, and he slowly turned his head, his eyes narrowing dangerously; Albert immediately stood up alertly. "What do you want?"

"You bastard..." she cursed under her breath, raising her fist and then lowering it. Not wanting to disturb her friend, she grabbed the black dog and vigorously ruffled its hair.

The next day, very early in the morning.

Hugh walked towards the Washroom in a daze, quickly regaining his senses with the help of cold water, and then efficiently completed a series of tasks such as washing his face and brushing his teeth.

She changed into her outdoor clothes and was about to leave when she suddenly noticed a figure hunched over a desk in the Living Room, pen in hand, diligently working on a manuscript.

"Fors?"

I walked over safely, finding it hard to believe that my friend was so diligent.

Standing behind the other person, her gaze casually swept across a few lines of the manuscript paper. She was taken aback, rubbed her eyes hard, and looked at the title of the page again.

What are some of the little-known facts about the Vice Admiral Iceberg?
