Advancement
Upon returning to Earth, the Beyonder Characteristic had been extracted.
Pali bent down and picked up the faintly glowing, dark green fang, then frowned and stared at the foul-smelling Corpse for a few seconds.
Then, she sighed resignedly, dragged the Corpse to the Washroom, intending to give it a quick Cleansing before starting her own Advancement.
After finishing the ceremony, it was nearly 3 Dawn.
Pali suppressed her raging murderous urges and returned to her booked Inn room, tossing and turning in bed for a long time before finally managing to fall asleep.
I slept straight through until noon the next day.
The warm sunlight shone on her face, and she opened her captivating, pure eyes, as clear as lake water, a fleeting glint of bloodlust in them.
"Three more days..." The number flashed through her mind, Pali sighed softly, getting out of bed and going to the Washroom to take a cold shower.
A dozen minutes later, she came to the window with her wet hair loose. A breeze blew by, bringing a cool feeling, which actually suppressed her desires.
Time slips away unnoticed.
Around two o'clock, a man dressed in a black suit and a matching silk top hat, with the brim pulled very low, strode towards house number 251. He knocked on the door a few times, then stood there quietly waiting.
Five minutes later, the man hesitantly raised his hand.
Knock on the door again.
But this time he didn't wait that long. After about a minute and a half, he decisively turned around and quietly left, blending into the endless stream of people on Victory Avenue.
Nine times out of ten, they are members of the "Rose School"... Unfortunately, not the one I'm waiting for... Pali, who witnessed the whole thing from the second floor of the "Victor" Inn, sighed with regret, stretched out a white palm to support her chin, and her eyes sparkled with anticipation.
Meanwhile, on the "Golden Dream," in the room belonging to Third Mate Jodson.
On the desk by the window, a Dark Gold book moves on its own without any wind. The pages, the same color as the cover, turn with a rustling sound, seemingly made of metal, until they stop at a certain page.
Sunlight streamed obliquely through the window, illuminating the lines of words.
"As one of only two contact points for the ' Rose School ' in Tetenik, the death of their liaison, Mason, was enough to cause a huge uproar."
"Perhaps believing that someone is Provocation the Concealment organization they serve," the Tetenik branch of the "Rose School" decided that they would not give up easily.
"To avoid revealing more information, they concealed the contact's death, hoping to investigate the matter themselves." "For some unknown reason, their higher-ups didn't intervene personally, but instead treated it as a mission, issuing it to nearby members."
The writer speculated that they might be wary of official power.
"After all, the main faith in the overseas colonies is the ' Lord of Storms,' and the Believer of this God are always at the forefront of the fight against Concealment organizations."
"It's perfectly reasonable for Gibson, a ' Lunatic ' returning from a performance review and awaiting Advancement, to remain in Tetenik."
"Whether in the Real World or the world of the Mysticism, the element that can never be bypassed when investigating something is the primary crime scene."
Therefore, it is perfectly reasonable for Gibson to appear at 251 Victory Avenue; it conforms to the inevitable laws of development.
"Similarly, it makes perfect sense that Pali Beria - Lorry, unable to easily venture out due to her inner bloodlust, would discover Gibson."
"Her room had an excellent view, and her eyesight was so good that she could easily see every face entering and leaving the house at 251 Victory Avenue."
"She knew what Gibson looked like; unless he possessed Mystical Item with abilities similar to the ' Faceless,' she could recognize him at a glance."
"A ' Lunatic ' obviously wouldn't possess such Mystical Item, so his fate was already sealed."
"Gibson's story ends here."
The crimson light seemed alive, flowing continuously from the first line; in the blink of an eye, nearly half of the densely packed words resembled a blood-written letter. They seemed to be gathering strength, lingering before the eighth paragraph, poised to unleash their power.
"Whether in the Real World or the world of the Mysticism, the element that can never be bypassed when investigating something is the primary crime scene..."
Two days passed in the blink of an eye, and it was already Saturday.
In the waters near Bodo Port, a huge golden sailing ship slowly sailed into a Private Harbor, where Pirate, in small groups, cheered and swarmed down.
This was their last supply replenishment before entering the Fog Sea.
"Vice Admiral Iceberg" generously gave the crew members who were not on duty a day off, allowing them to vent their desires and prepare for a long voyage.
Captain's cabin, at the door.
Edwina leaned against the railing, looking down at her crew with a smug expression, before walking down the deck arm in arm.
Huff... She slowly exhaled, withdrew her gaze, and looked down at the light blue Charm in her palm, her brow furrowing slightly.
Lorry couldn't help but ask, "Is my plan not working?"
Edwina shook her head slightly, her tone more serious than usual: "Your plan isn't fundamentally different from it." "It" referred to the light blue Charm, the first "Teleportation" Charm they had successfully created in the past two days.
In a sense, the "Teleportation" Charm was successful.
Because it can indeed help the user enter the Spirit World and successfully sense the Real World after reciting the activation Incantation.
This is essentially equivalent to the effect of Beyonder using "Teleportation".
But in a sense, this "Teleportation" Charm also failed.
Because it is uncontrollable.
Simply put, it has a limited capacity to hold Spirituality. If it fails to find the corresponding Spirit World realm before exhausting its energy, it only has two options:
First, return to the Real World.
Second, continue to linger in the Spirit World.
The former means the "Teleportation" failed because the returned Real World is not the Oldest One destination at all, and has a high degree of randomness.
The latter means that without other means of returning to the Real World, one will be forever lost in this bizarre, Distortion, and abstract world.

The biggest problem facing the two right now is that the materials used for making the craft have limited Spirituality, so they can only rely on luck and cannot support a "medium- to long-distance" journey.
Lorry's solution was to use higher-grade materials, which would greatly improve the inability to support "medium- and long-distance" travel.
But Edwina didn't quite agree.
Firstly, the materials they used to create this "Teleportation" Charm came from an extraordinary creature equivalent to Sequence 5.
At an even higher level, that is, Demigod.
Spirituality materials of this caliber are extremely rare and highly sought after.
Secondly, due to the special nature of the Spirit World, places in the Real World may be adjacent to each other in the Spirit World, making the uncertainty too great.
If you encounter a "short trip," it would be a serious waste of Demigod materials; Charm made from Mid-Sequence materials can achieve the same purpose.
Lorry retorted, somewhat speechless:
"But the problem is that the Charm is inanimate, while the ' Traveler ' is alive."
"Want to support..." He turned his head sharply halfway through his sentence and noticed an unusually powerful Spirituality fluctuation suddenly erupting from the captain's cabin behind him.
He and Edwina exchanged a glance, then turned and walked towards that direction without either of them doing so.
The "Curse of Knowledge" has been successfully Advancement!
