God's Murmurings
Fluttering~
The white dove flapped its wings and flew swiftly towards Lorry.
The next second, it chirped, "Master, I've checked this island. Aside from a few wild animals, there's no human activity."
"Very good." Lorry smiled and nodded, and as the white dove turned into specks of light, he pulled a completely black eye without a pupil from the air.
This is the "All-Black Eye" that Fors sent with the letter, a characteristic left behind by Rosago, the "Marionettist" and former assistant to the Intis Ambassador!
The moment their hands touched, he heard a frantic, screaming incantation in his ears, his vision went black, bizarre Illusions appeared, and his head began to throb.
Snap!
Lorry hurriedly dropped the "All-Black Eye" on the ground and breathed a sigh of relief:
"As expected of a true god-level Mental Pollution... Just touching it, without using it, and without even letting its Spirituality spread, made me feel like I was losing control..."
As he muttered to himself, he took a few steps back, closed his eyes to compose himself for a moment, and began to fantasize based on the "Fire Seed".
His Spirituality was rapidly depleting, and a light sheen of sweat appeared on Lorry's forehead.
A dozen seconds later, a black, semi-transparent glove appeared on his right hand. With a long, drawn-out breath, Lorry unsurprisingly found his Spirituality nearly depleted, and quickly took out a "Spirituality Restoration" Charm to replenish it.
Then, without hesitation, he stretched out his right hand toward the "All-Black Eye," spread his five fingers, and saw all sorts of Light Clump appear in his field of vision.
The menacing, iron-black light swirled around the other Light Clump.
Lorry knew that this was Mental Pollution from the "True Creator."
In a flash, a thought struck him, and he brought his five fingers together. The instant he felt the sensation of grasping the iron-black light, he suddenly pulled his wrist.
In an instant, an indescribable scream of Affliction rang in his ears again— the Mental Pollution of the "True Creator" had already entered the Illusions the "Fire Seed"!
Lorry dared not waste any time and quickly threw the "Fire Seed" Illusions far away.
His Spirituality lock on the cleaned-up "All-Black Eye" effortlessly sent this Mystical Item temporarily into another Dimension.
Immediately afterwards, he took out Serrated Dagger and threw it at the Illusions of "Fire Seed," then hid in another Dimension to observe what would happen next.
A few minutes later, the Illusions "Fire Seed" collapsed.
Freed from its constraints, the Mental Pollution from the "True Creator" suddenly appeared in the Real World in the form of black mist.
As if they had spotted a suitable new home, drawn by some inexplicable force, they surged toward the Serrated Dagger with ferocious baring of their teeth and claws. The blade, originally a dull green, quickly turned pitch black.
Even though they were in different Dimension, just by looking at each other, this extraordinary object gave Lorry a strange, eerie, and dangerous feeling.
"True God-level charging..."
"Tsk tsk, even Demigod would probably find it unpleasant to be stabbed like that..." Lorry couldn't help but think as he looked away.
He quickly returned to the Real World and performed a "Dream Divination" ritual.
Lorry rolled his eyelids up and saw a picture:
Holding Serrated Dagger, he slashed across an enemy's forearm. As the blade's color rapidly dimmed, the enemy's hair began to Distortion wildly, vaguely crystallizing into a crown on his head. His entire body was covered in thick hair, giving him a bizarre and Distortion sense of madness.
Swish!
Guided by his Spirituality intuition, he abruptly broke free from the dream, feeling a stinging pain in his eyes, and tears streamed down his face, dripping onto the ground beneath his feet.
After a few moments of heavy breathing filled with lingering fear, he slowly opened his somewhat red and swollen eyes and began to analyze the insights the Dream Divination had given him.
First, the Serrated Dagger's current Beyonder Ability is to go out of control, specifically by harming the opponent and allowing the "True Creator's" corruption to permeate. Second, its use is limited, similar to a poisoned weapon; once the Poison is exhausted, it will lose this ability.
Finally, there's a guess.
Lorry suspected that the out-of-control Monster that nearly blinded him in the dream was at least a Demigod Beyonder had already opened the door to divinity.
That bizarre and Distortion form is Mythical Creature Form from some other Pathway!
in other words:
The Serrated Dagger can now damage Demigod!
"The first and second points are certain, as for the third point..." Lorry chuckled and quickly conjured up paper and pen, beginning to write.
"The account of this extraordinary object on paper is correct."
Repeated seven times in a row.
The Yellow Crystal, almost hanging on the paper, rotated dramatically clockwise.
This means his guess was correct!
Knowing a little about divination can indeed bring a lot of convenience... Thinking this, Lorry stepped forward, picked up the Serrated Dagger, and set up an enhanced version of the Wall of Spirituality. -- This method comes from the original teachings of "The Curse of Knowledge," used to seal the Mystical Item "Knight's Hand."
His gaze swept over the pitch-black blade, and he suddenly smiled:
"However, calling you ' Serrated Dagger ' is no longer appropriate. Given your status, you deserve a new name."
"Since you've been corrupted and transformed by the ' True Creator's' Mental Pollution, and your ability is to make enemies lose control through indescribable babbling, let's just call you..."
Lorry pondered for a moment, then his eyes suddenly lit up:
"The God's Murmurings."
"From this day forward, your name will be ' The God's Murmurings '."
After saying that, he chuckled, placed the "God's Murmurings" into another Dimension, and then retrieved the "All-Black Eye" that had been cleansed of its pollution.
Lorry held the eye in his palm and began to close his eyes and fantasize.
A few breaths later, an ordinary-looking native of the Southern Continent quickly took shape, took the "All-Black Eye" from his hand, and walked into the distance.
Meanwhile, Lorry once again leaves the Real World, leaving only some thoughts in the Illusions, driving its every move.
Reaching an even more desolate beach, Lorry controlled the Illusions, raising its right hand to reveal the "All-Black Eye" within, its mouth agape as it gazed at the sky. (Go to Bing search for the latest chapter!)
Then, he shouted loudly in Ancient Hermes:
"Leodero!"
Before the words were even finished, hundreds of silver lightning bolts appeared out of thin air, intertwining and spreading into a dense net that covered the area.
A rumble of thunder and a flash of lightning dispelled the surrounding darkness.
The Illusions, which possessed only a slight Spirituality and lacked even the strength of Sequence 9, was shattered by the dissipated energy before the electric serpent could even truly land. The "All-Black Eye," which was equivalent to Sequence 5 level, also failed to withstand the first lightning bolt and was subsequently engulfed by a vast sea of lightning.
A moment later, everything returned to calm.
Lorry returned to reality and strode towards the beach that had been ravaged by lightning, leaving behind scorched and gaping craters. A slight twitch appeared on his lips.
With a wave of his hand, he placed the Beyonder Characteristic, which existed in the form of light points and were slowly gathering, into another Dimension, and then quickly Teleportation back to the "Golden Dream".
