The Cunning "Demon"
Amidst the Pirate ' shocked gazes, "The King of Immortality" Agalito remained silent for a few seconds, his slightly helpless voice carrying far and wide:
"If I had something similar, do you think I might not have used it just now?"
Before the words were even finished, "Ghost Butcher," "Slayer," and the others couldn't help but show incredulous expressions, unable to believe that these words had come from the captain's mouth.
He's one of the "Four Kings"!
There are only three people who are his equals at sea!
For a moment, the deck of the "Death Announcer" was completely silent, so quiet that you could hear a pin drop; everyone's heartbeats and breathing could be clearly heard.
In the silence, the voice of the "King of Immortality" suddenly rang in the ears of the "Slayer": "Immediately Sacrifice all the prisoners in the prison."
"Steal as much as possible, and go as fast as you can!"
After a slight pause, a look of realization flashed across their eyes, and they immediately understood the captain's plan, transforming into a black, viscous liquid and disappearing onto the deck.
Before they left, they heard their Pirate King sigh:
"Let's find a more reasonable offer. You should know that the person I truly fear isn't you."
I already guessed you didn't have any Sealed Artifact... but if I don't ask for an exorbitant price right away, what am I supposed to do if you try to bargain down...? Lorry pretended to think, paused for a few seconds, and then said, "At least five Mystical Item of Sequence 5."
Soon, the "King of Immortality's " annoyed voice rang out:
Five items?
Do you really think I'm afraid of you?
"Two items at most, otherwise I'd rather kill you first and then fight the Navy! I advise you not to Provocation the bottom line of a Pirate King!"
So your bottom line is to proactively submit to a Pirate whose reputation and Sequence are inferior to yours? Lorry chuckled inwardly, then said firmly:
Three items.
"This is my biggest concession."
"You should know that you and your ' Death Announcer ' are no match for me, and once the navy arrives, the only one who will suffer is..."
Before he could finish speaking, his Spirituality intuition issued a frantic warning. In another Dimension, Lorry's true form was horrified to see sound waves, almost solidified, spreading outwards in all directions from the "Death Announcer" as the center.
They moved with incredible speed, sweeping away into the distance in the blink of an eye. Such widespread and continuous babbling rendered the "Flash" of the "Marionettist" Illusions utterly useless, leaving it with absolutely no room to maneuver.
As expected of a "Demon" known for his cunning... Fortunately, I was familiar enough with this Pathway to remain vigilant at all times...
Lorry's lips curled up slightly. With a thought, he left a few commands for the Illusions and instantly withdrew his consciousness from it.
Meanwhile, in the Real World...
"Hahaha!
"Hahaha!"
A series of sharp, malicious laughs, enough to make Beyonder below the Demigod level lose control on the spot, flashed across the Illusions's body like lightning.
Its body stiffened involuntarily, and a Affliction expression appeared on its face.
Seeing this, "King of Immortality" Agalito was secretly delighted and did not hesitate to urge the "Death Announcer" to break through the waves and forcibly escape the waters where the "Lightning Storm" was located.
The once pitch-black ship now glowed with a layer of blood-red light, its speed more than twice as fast as before, speeding forward like a crimson lightning bolt.
The distance of several hundred meters was nothing more than the blink of an eye for the "Death Announcer" in its current state; it appeared nearby in an instant.
Agalito gave a silent, cold laugh, a cruel glint in his eyes. His Spirituality senses swiftly locked onto the Illusions of the "Marionettist" in mid-air, and he roared in Language of Foulness: "Death!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the Illusions of "Marionettist" clutched his heart in Affliction and fell to the ground, while the Pirate on the deck cheered and applauded.
However, the rapidly falling figure suddenly thinned out, transforming into a roughly cut Paper Figurine that drifted gently in the wind and landed on the deck of the "Death Announcer".
The Pirate seemed to have been collectively choked; their cheers and applause abruptly ceased.
Paper Figurine Substitute!
Among the Pirate were many knowledgeable Beyonder, upon recognizing this ability, quickly turned their heads to search for the whereabouts of the "Marionettist" Illusions.
"There!"
A sharp-eyed Pirate pointed to a certain spot and said.
Agalito suddenly turned his head and met a pair of smiling eyes.
He saw the Illusions of the "Marionettist" first crush a black Charm of unknown purpose, then raise its right hand high:
"Tsunami!"
"Lightning Storm!" Then, the opponent flashed and appeared a thousand meters away. "..." Agalito was slightly stunned, and quickly looked up at the sky, seeing countless dark clouds rapidly gathering, more than twice as powerful as before.
At the same time, the ocean seemed to suddenly go mad, becoming incredibly violent, and its immense power nearly capsized the "Death Announcer".
The Pirate on deck instantly collapsed in disarray, their cries of alarm filling the air.
"Boom--"
A bolt of silver lightning struck down, only to be quickly disintegrated by the black mist. But in the blink of an eye, even more bolts of silver lightning struck down, almost instantly engulfing the "Death Announcer".
Half a minute later, the enormous vessel, enveloped in a thick crimson light, stumbled out of the "Lightning Storm's" range and sailed away into the distance without looking back.
The Illusions of the Marionettist " did not pursue, but hovered quietly in mid-air, watching the other's figure disappear, before raising its right hand.
The dark clouds dispersed, the lightning disappeared, and the Tsunami subsided.
However, the calm surface of the water lasted less than a second before violent waves surged up again.
Countless aquatic creatures worked together to lift one Pirate Corpse after another, some drowning and suffocating with swollen bellies, others charred black, to the surface.
They circled around them, devoutly expressing their submission.
Meanwhile, on the "Death Announcer," the "King of Immortality" Agalito stood silently on the deck.
Behind him, the First Mate "Ghost Butcher," the second mate "Slayer," and others remained silent, staring blankly at the ship beneath their feet.
Looking around, houses had collapsed, and everywhere were charred marks from being struck by lightning.
The "Death Announcer" has never been so empty.
Apart from the dozen or so of them, there were no other living people on the entire ship.
Not to mention the prisoners held in jail, not a single Pirate Sailor on the ship survived—some died in the Tsunami and lightning, and the vast majority of the rest became food for the "Death Announcer".
Otherwise, they wouldn't have escaped so easily.
Lost in thought, the group remained silent for several minutes when they suddenly heard their captain's somber, hoarse voice:
"Tomorrow you will leave the ' Death Announcer ' and recruit new crew members."
"Also, contact some newspapers that take money to do things and spread the word about what happened today, saying that I almost died at the hands of ' Flower Bow Tie ' Jodson."
"Everyone underestimated him; he's a Great Pirate with the strength of a king!"
