Natural Incantations
Tarakha Island, in another Dimension that doesn't belong to the Real World, Lorry suddenly put down the Yamaha blood sac and looked towards Backlund.
Joe and his "Dawn Knight" clone have boarded the Steam Train bound for Pritz Harbor... If the journey goes smoothly, they should reach the Southern Continent in two or three days...
Even if Storm forces the ferry to detour, it won't take more than a week...
It's unclear whether the person who swindled him out of his fortune was just an ordinary person with extraordinary talent, or Beyonder through the "Marauder" Pathway...
If it's the latter, a single "Dawn Knight" clone at Sequence 6 isn't enough to guarantee safety... after all, the opponent's Sequence is unknown...
Unfortunately, I couldn't get away, and Pali was busy with her own things... Lost in thought, Lorry's gaze turned serious, and after a moment's thought, an idea struck him.
He reached into his robes, took out the "Book of Dimensions," flipped to a blank page, closed his eyes slightly, and a short dagger appeared out of thin air, landing in the center of his outstretched palm.
He skillfully drew blood and mixed ink, then began to write at his desk.
Lines of words quickly appeared on the paper.
"Since Emperor Roselle ushered in the colonial era, shipping Northern Continent has gradually matured, allowing even ordinary people who dream of pursuing wealth and power to safely travel to another land."
"Joe and his group, frequent travelers between the two continents, were experienced Former Successful Merchant with bodyguards skilled in combat and marksmanship, and included Sequence 6 ' Dawn Knight.' It was only natural that they arrived safely on the Southern Continent by taking a passenger ship along a safe route." "Due to some unknown reason, their passenger ship fortunately avoided all Storm, completing their journey smoothly and quickly."
The pen stopped abruptly.
The bright red words faded quickly, becoming dull.
Lorry scrutinized the pen from head to toe, his eyes flickering slightly, a fleeting hint of hesitation flashing across his face. He then gripped the pen and continued writing.
"Due to some inexplicable reason, Qiao and his group did not have an easy time finding the swindler from back then after arriving in the Southern Continent."
Even if he hired adventurers and Bounty Hunter to work for him in advance.
"This makes perfect sense; after all, they've just arrived in an unfamiliar environment, and their target isn't a toy to be manipulated at will."
"Their investigation was ongoing, but progress was slow, until Lorry completed his journey and Advancement a ' Fire Thief,' after which there was a breakthrough."
"That makes sense, because the strongest player on this team, ' Dawn Knight ' Tego, is Lorry's alter ego and can significantly influence Joe's decisions."
Whew... Lorry put away his pen and let out a soft breath:
With Tego's covert cooperation and the "Book of Dimensions" status, this arrangement should be quite reasonable, and the chances of success are very high.
"Even if I fail, I can get feedback immediately, know exactly Node the problem lies, and find a way to fix it in time." The thought flashed through his mind. He glanced deeply at the dim words throughout the page, then reached out and turned to the previous page, revealing words that were clearly distinguished between dim and bright red.
"Pali Beria chose to hunt down members of the ' Rose School ' Indulgence Faction as a supplementary ritual for her Advancement the ' Desire Apostle '."
"This is a rather wise decision, as it both improves our own Sequence and provides an opportunity to lure out Adrian, who is based at the Preston Branch."
"Pali Beria possesses exceptional ' Malice Perception,' always receiving early warnings and easily evading enemy pursuit."
"Therefore, it is quite reasonable that she remained safe despite making a mess of the Preston Branch of the ' Rose School '."
"At the same time, because he showed no malice, Adrian would never know that he was Pali Beria's real target."
"It makes perfect sense that he didn't immediately send out a force to hunt down Pali Beria, but instead delegated the task to his subordinates."
"Because that's just his personality—domineering, cruel, and indifferent to the lives of others, even if that person belongs to the same Concealment organization as him."
After quickly scanning over what was already a reality, Lorry continued looking down.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, by the time Adrian began to take the matter seriously, Pali Beria had already completed her Advancement."
"With the help of her original self, it is perfectly reasonable for Pali Beria, as an ' Desire Apostle,' to defeat other ' Wraith ' of the same Sequence."
Turning his gaze away, Lorry closed the "Book of Dimensions" and continued his previous study. His Spirituality intuition had not lied.
What is truly peculiar about the Yamaha is its blood sac.
Simply put, these black and red things, which are shaped like pockets, are not actually one entity, but rather two independent organs.
One blood sac is used to maintain the energy supply for the Yamaha's daily survival and activities, while the other blood sac is purely a storage organ.
Moreover, the surface wrinkles of the latter are also quite intriguing.
Under the cover of a large number of chaotic and disorderly similar entities, only a small portion actually function; these are naturally formed Incantation!
"Hoo." Lorry slowly exhaled and put away the silver carving knife.
His gaze swept quickly across the intricate Incantation carved on the Talisman below, then he reached for the paper and pen beside him and scribbled down a line of words:
How long will this Talisman last?
After writing down the divination statements, Lorry put down his pen and picked up the Spirituality materials he had prepared in advance, quickly setting up the "Dream Divination" ritual.
Then, while Silent Recitation the divination words, he entered a deep sleep through Meditation. Lorry saw the Talisman worn around the neck of a little girl whose features he couldn't quite make out; it was a birthday gift from her parents.
Winter goes and spring comes, the cycle repeats itself.
Time flies by in the bizarre and fantastical dreamscape.
Lorry saw a girl whose figure resembled the little girl's, reached out and took off the Talisman around her neck, reluctantly putting it into a wooden box.
He heard a light, girlish voice in his ear, as if she were talking to someone:
I know it's broken.
"But it's been with me every step of the way for three years, I can't bear to throw it in the trash, Mom, please let me keep it."
As the words fell, the dream shattered silently.
Lorry suddenly opened his eyes, a look of undisguised surprise flashing in his pupils.
"Kid, what's wrong?" Sebastian noticed his unusual mood and immediately asked him telepathically.
Lorry took a deep breath and said in a deep voice:
"The experiment is over. The natural Incantation hidden on the surface of those second blood sacs of the Yamaha serve to maintain Spirituality, and they are very effective."
As he spoke, he paused briefly, his gaze flickering slightly as he glanced at another almost identical Talisman not far from the table.
Then, he continued:
"The Spirituality power of Talisman is not inscribed with these natural Incantation can only be maintained for a year and a half at most, while that which is inscribed can last for three years."
"It's doubled!"
"Double?" Sebastian remained silent for a full seven or eight seconds before speaking again, his tone filled with disbelief, but also tinged with a hint of amusement:
"Your luck is truly enviable; you actually managed to find such a precious Incantation on these insects that others would consider food."
"It's more effective than any similar Incantation I know of."
The latter is true, but my discovery of them had little to do with luck... If it weren't for the "Book of Dimensions," even the best luck wouldn't have helped...
Lorry silently refuted in his heart that the greatest contributor to his discovery of the hidden natural Incantation was the transformative "Exceptional Observation."
Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to spot the discordant elements among the countless Distortion and turns, and thus accurately reproduce them.
This is the special thing the "Book of Dimensions" gave me. In the Real World, I would be no different from other "Mystery Pryer" and would be unable to directly sense subtle clues and traces.
Composing himself, Lorry chatted with Sebastian for a few more minutes, and once the other stopped talking, he went back to his business.
He casually stuffed the Talisman into his pocket and began to think more deeply.
Why do these Incantation appear in Yamaha's second blood sac?
What is its purpose?
Could it be related to the legendary duke's experiment, or rather, his secret? Questions flooded his mind, Lorry's brow furrowed unconsciously.
