Even if it was delivered to Mr. Kurt, he wouldn't be able to make heads or tails of it anyway. Better to leave it with Young Master Mao so it could contribute something.
Made from Ho-Oh's and Lugia's feathers, the GS Ball normally couldn't be opened. It would only open upon encountering Celebi's time ripples.
It could also be called a Master Ball specifically designed for Celebi.
Although Young Master Mao wasn't particularly eager to get Celebi, there was no denying that the guardian of the forest and the Viridian Force were a perfect match.
Every time Celebi made a jump through space-time, it consumed a tremendous amount of forest power. The Viridian Force happened to be the blessing of the forest and the earth, making it a perfect substitute for Celebi's power source.
When a Legendary Pokémon of unknown strength, limited by its mana pool, met a giant power bank... tsk, tsk~
Back home, Young Master Mao returned to his lazy lifestyle.
