The barbecue party came to a happy conclusion amid everyone's cheerful spirits, after they finished watching Pikachu's Summer Courtyard.
Gary's Pokémon gathered in groups of two or three, leaning against one another as they drifted off to sleep.
Gary brought Agatha and Lorelei back to the living room to play cards. Professor Oak, who had tried to slip away, was dragged back too.
Lorelei wasn't particularly interested in Fight the Landlord, so the game came down to Gary, Professor Oak, and Agatha.
Holding a handful of cards, Young Master Mao eyed the others warily.
Sitting behind Gary, Golduck adjusted the Wise Glasses and pointed at the bomb in Gary's hand. "Hit her with a bomb?"
Gary rolled his eyes at Golduck. And how do I play after that? A lone three with nothing to back it up?
"Watch this! Four twos with both jokers!" Professor Oak confidently brushed aside the paper strips on his face and played his cards!
Gary covered his face. Grandpa, if you don't know how to play, you can just say so!
"Hehe~" Agatha flicked her wrist and tossed out four queens! A bomb!
Professor Oak's face instantly darkened.
Gary reluctantly followed. "I've got a bomb too!"
Agatha pursed her lips. "Pass, pass, pass~"
Then Gary cautiously pulled out a three. "One three..."
Professor Oak flushed slightly. "Ahem... Can't beat that..."
Gary toppled forward. How the hell are we supposed to play like this!
Sure enough, Agatha crushed it with an ace, then played a whole straight...
"Hehehe~ Sorry about that. This old lady won again~" Agatha picked up the paper strips beside her and slapped them onto Professor Oak's face.
When it was Gary's turn, he held up Gengar's big face. "Go ahead..."
Agatha didn't hold back either, slapping a Spell Tag onto Gengar's forehead.
