Original Ancestor’s Lineage

Chaos City Lord is Original Ancestor’s eldest disciple. His fellow disciples include Lord of Darkness, Lord of Ice Peak, and August Venerable, also known as Augustus. After Original Ancestor’s suppression, Chaos serves as the Virtual Universe Company’s actual administrator and one of humanity’s principal leaders 185 289 399 554.

Before becoming a Universe Strongest One, he maintains bodies at Chaos City and the Virtual Universe Company headquarters. His administrative authority within the Virtual Universe is slightly higher than even Giant Axe Founder’s 177 185 289.

Investigating Dongguan and Earth

When Dongguan first enters Chaos City, Chaos City Lord probes his possessions, Origin Core, and unusual Internal World. Dongguan’s resemblance to a Light Lord special lifeform raises questions about his identity, while the increased Gene Multipliers of both Dongguan and Luo Feng draw Chaos’s attention to Earth 177.

He consults Augustus and reverses Earth’s history to investigate. The reversal reveals events in Dongguan and Luo Feng’s lives but fails to expose Earth’s underlying secret, even when traced back to the Solar System’s formation. A mysterious resistance makes further investigation prohibitively costly in divine-body consumption. Chaos asks Giant Axe Founder to examine the matter, but agrees to postpone it while Giant Axe assists Lord Youhou elsewhere 185 186.

Chaos subsequently questions Dongguan about whether he is human. He does not subject him to a direct soul-illusion interrogation, instead assessing his explanation and conduct. Dongguan’s reluctance to betray others earns his approval as a sign that the young cultivator is worth nurturing 187.

The Twenty-Epoch Agreement

Dongguan reveals his suspicions about Earthlings’ exceptional souls and comprehension, along with Earth’s possible connection to the Yan God Race. Chaos reassures him and Luo Feng that such connections do not constitute betrayal without actual collusion against humanity. He agrees to protect Earth and its secrets for twenty epochs—two hundred thousand years—and urges the two to attain Universe Venerable strength within that period 188.

When other human Universe Masters later propose taking control of Earth for racial development, Chaos repeatedly invokes his promise. Giant Axe Founder ultimately rules that its ownership will remain unchanged for the agreed period 244.

His position nevertheless includes consideration of Earth’s value to humanity as a whole. After Luo Feng gains Universe Master standing, Chaos explains that some leaders had considered arrangements for Earth after the deadline. He accepts Luo Feng’s refusal and, when pressed to identify those involved, includes himself rather than exposing the others and deepening internal divisions 484 485.

Supporting Humanity’s Rising Experts

Chaos mediates the settlement between Dongguan and Lord Huang Jian over Nine Abyss Venerable’s release. He relays an offer of the Wood and Grass Cauldron Pearl and five supreme treasure points, then grants Dongguan a palace on Thunder Island’s mountainside 252.

As Dongguan grows stronger, Chaos seeks information useful to humanity without demanding his private cultivation insights. Their exchanges cover Lord Formless’s legacy, Dongguan’s operations in Zerg Territory, and intelligence obtained through the enslaved Calamity Mistress. Chaos later asks Dongguan to use causal tracking to help locate Myriad-Heart Man’s remaining targets 290 369.

After Dongguan discovers Star Divine Palace, Chaos orders him to guard it and mobilizes humanity to collect its 10,080 keys. He negotiates with rival factions to prevent anyone from withholding a key and blocking the palace’s opening. Inside the inheritance, he advises Dongguan to prioritize comprehension and reserve further exchanges for each ten fully comprehended levels 389 392 418.

Cultivation Resources and Strategic Planning

Chaos supports the development of shared cultivation resources. He helps arrange the acquisition of Upper Star Banners for the Small Star Formation, with Dongguan trading two Upper Star Banners for two hundred Lower Star Banners and a share of the formation’s use. He also receives Dongguan’s route to Bluestone Space and information about an ancient willpower-testing instrument 447 477.

He encourages Dongguan to leave behind a Chaos Stele after becoming a Universe Master. When the Duan Donghe Inheritance later surpasses the steles as a training resource, Chaos accompanies Luo Feng through their chambers as Luo Feng argues for preserving them as monuments to humanity’s predecessors 480 522.

Breakthrough and War

Chaos deliberately delays his Universe Strongest One breakthrough because it would temporarily weaken humanity’s defenses. Within the Primal Universe, his three Universe Master bodies offer greater immediate utility than a newly advanced Universe Strongest One under cosmic suppression. His required study of Chaos Evolution would also prevent him from joining the fighting 553.

His breakthrough begins when his three bodies gather and fuse. After completing Chaos Evolution, he takes the shortest route back to the Primal Universe, anxious about the war’s outcome. Lord of Ice Peak subsequently replaces him as guardian of both Chaos City and the Virtual Universe Company headquarters 554 562 567.

Following the Allied Forces’ withdrawal, Chaos oversees discussion of humanity’s losses and the imprisonment of two captured Universe Strongest Ones. He stresses that the Anti-Human Alliance remains a threat and that humanity still needs time to consolidate its strength 566.

World Beasts and Humanity’s Expansion

Chaos manages much of humanity’s intelligence network, including contact with outside allies. He helps identify an opportunity to act against Haolei Star Lord, Rock Ancestral God, and King Zhen Jia, while pledging to give everything he has to secure Original Ancestor’s freedom 654 658.

During the encounter with Bedi, Chaos fights alongside Giant Axe Founder and Luo Feng. Bedi overpowers their combined attack and pursues Chaos during the retreat. Luo Feng covers the withdrawal, allowing him to escape 664 669.

Later, Chaos directs Luo Feng to eliminate humanity’s most deeply hostile enemies within Jin World while capturing others. Before allowing the operation to begin, he visits the Ancestral God School to seek Original Ancestor’s release, only to be told that changed circumstances prevent it 674.

When Luo Feng finally becomes a True God, Chaos personally guards the exterior of his Miniature Universe so that no one can interrupt Chaos Evolution. He greets Luo Feng when the process ends and discusses his new strength and plans for Universe Teleportation 719 721.

Appearance

Chaos City Lord has multiple documented appearances before his breakthrough. After becoming a Universe Strongest One, he retains an armored humanoid form with scales on his head 554 562.

• Human/original form: Resembles an Earthling but has blue-green scales; he commonly uses this appearance in the Virtual Universe 185.
• Chaos City combat body: A burly, eight-meter-tall figure wearing dark red war armor and battle boots, with a scaled tail extending beneath his battle skirt. He radiates intense murderous energy 177.
• Headquarters special-lifeform clone: More than ten thousand kilometers tall, with silver-white skin and over a thousand antennae. Wears simple clothing and walks barefoot through space 185.
• Eyes: Appear to Dongguan like black-hole vortices filled with dreamlike colors 187.

Personality

Chaos is renowned for impartiality and concern for humanity’s collective interests. Even accepting Luo Feng as a disciple initially stems more from responsibility toward the race than eagerness to teach another student. His reputation for fairness does not exempt his disciples from dangerous life-and-death training 185 190.

He respects individual opportunities and keeps his commitments. He does not intend to confiscate Luo Feng’s inheritance merely because it may be extraordinary, and he upholds the twenty-epoch Earth agreement despite pressure from other leaders. He also argues that Dongguan deserves compensation for losses suffered while serving humanity 189 244 424.

His dedication to racial unity can complicate that fairness. He considers broader use of Earth after the promised protection expires and avoids naming the leaders involved when Luo Feng challenges those plans. His decisions concerning hostile races are also shaped by memories of fallen human geniuses, including his disciple Kedi 485 674.

He takes genuine satisfaction in juniors surpassing him. Rather than feeling jealous of Dongguan and Luo Feng’s potential to exceed humanity’s established experts, he welcomes it. His devotion to Original Ancestor is equally strong, repeatedly motivating efforts to restore his teacher’s freedom 619 654.
