"Do you really sell them for eight thousand?" It took Morty quite a while to recover and finally swallow the Crab Roe Soup Dumpling in his mouth. He spoke with a look of shock, terrified that Heath would suddenly tell him the dumpling cost eight thousand and refuse to let him leave without paying.
"Yes, but those soup dumplings are made with Giant Purple Crab roe. Giant Purple Crabs cost a lot." Heath nodded. He did not charge much for dumplings made with ordinary crabs like these, earning just two dollars on each one.
Hearing this, Morty could not help glancing at the blackboard Heath had put up. It did indeed specify that these were ordinary Crab Roe Soup Dumplings, and the price was indeed eight dollars each. But as he ate the richly fragrant dumpling, Morty admitted he was a little curious. What would the Giant Purple Crab roe dumplings taste like, given how much more expensive they were?
"Boss, your food really tastes great. Are you planning to take delivery orders?" Morty finished his second dumpling as well. With his first attempt behind him, he was much more practiced at eating Crab Roe Soup Dumplings this time and did not choke nearly to death as he had before.
"Delivery? I don't have much time, so I probably can't deliver it." Heath frowned. Noon was his busiest time. How could he possibly run off to deliver food to other companies?
"You can hand it over to a delivery company. Our company is just a little over a hundred meters from your little Food Truck, so the delivery fee would be cheap. We can pay it ourselves," Morty added. The food really tasted fantastic. After trying it once, Morty kept thinking about eating Heath's Yellow-Braised Chicken.
Heath rubbed his chin.
