The customers chefs hated most were those who refused to eat things the standard way. It was like serving noodles that were clearly meant to be picked up with chopsticks and put into your mouth, only for a customer to insist on smashing them up in the bowl and adding boiling water, turning them into some kind of culinary monstrosity before eating them.
At times like that, a chef's blood pressure would go through the roof.
Fortunately, such extreme customers were few and far between, so Heath could maintain a peaceful state of mind instead of having to think every day about how to match wits with these "clever" customers.
"Huff, huff." When Heath returned to Heath's Food Truck, he saw a man in sportswear running past it, breathing at a steady rhythm. Normally, someone exercising like this would hardly warrant attention. After all, Heath had seen people like that back in Viridian City.
The only thing that interested Heath a little was that this exercising customer was bald. His head reflected some of the rising sunlight straight into Heath's eyes, making him look up at the man.
The bald man ran fast and soon disappeared from Heath's sight. Heath scratched his head. He remembered never having seen this bald man before, though of course, it was hard to say whether he only came out to exercise occasionally. After all, enthusiasm for exercise often faded quickly, and very few people could stick with it.
"A bald head... Did that guy wax his scalp?" Heath smacked his lips. The man's head reminded him of a popular anime he had watched in his previous life, One-Punch Man. Its protagonist was also bald and had made himself invincible through day after day of training. Heath wondered how they planned to draw the ending
