Heath sucked in a sharp breath. The Pokémon before him looked exactly like Lugia, but the normally elegant, noble Lugia had turned from silver to black. That pitch-black body and those blood-red eyes made Heath realize exactly what this Pokémon was!
Heath was very nervous. Because of the light in his hand, Shadow Lugia had already woken up and was studying him. Heath nervously held his phone as he looked at the Pokémon before him, regretting a little that he had not brought his own Pokémon upstairs. For an ordinary person to face a Legendary Pokémon like Lugia was practically asking to die.
But then Heath noticed something was not quite right about this Lugia. It looked a little smaller, a little slimmer, a little more miniature.
A strange thought occurred to Heath.
But then Shadow Lugia flapped its wings and stood up. The powerful wind pressure instantly swept away Heath's confusion. What he faced now was one of the Pokémon world's top fighting powers, a Legendary Pokémon-and one that had been modified into a Shadow Legendary at that.
"Um... if I turn off the light and go downstairs now, is it still not too late?" Heath looked at Lugia with a wry smile. It really was a little smaller, and Heath suspected it was a juvenile, but even so, its heavy, oppressive presence and its savage aura still made him tremble a little.
Before Heath could back away, Lugia suddenly charged at him. Heath clenched his fists. He had nowhere to retreat now.
