Background / History
Shi Hao was one of the Martial King Manor’s two born Supremes: he possessed a Supreme Bone, while Shi Yi possessed double pupils. When Shi Hao was one year old and his parents were away, Shi Yi’s branch lured away his guardian, extracted the bone alive, and transplanted it into Shi Yi. They also drained his Supreme Blood, leaving him so depleted that he could no longer endure the bone’s return 22.
His parents, Shi Ziling and Qin Yining, eventually entrusted him to Shi Yunfeng and sought Willow Deity’s protection in Stone Village. Unable to take the gravely injured child through further hardships, they left to obtain sacred medicine. When they later returned with medicine, Stone Village had relocated and been sealed while Willow Deity slept; they missed him and came to believe he had died 43.
His Supreme Bone was not simply an isolated mutation. Chen Yao explained that the Seven Kings of the Border Wasteland and their strongest descendants had inscribed their arts into their bloodlines. Shi Hao’s bone and Shi Yi’s double pupils were manifestations of those inherited Supreme Arts 42.
Appearance
- A young boy repeatedly described as a “little tyke,” with a childish, milky voice 15 21.
- Slightly shorter than Aman during their early cultivation together, allowing her to hold his head down while he tried to reach her 30.
Personality
Shi Hao is mischievous, competitive, and intensely interested in food. Chen Yao wins him over with refined cooking utensils, and receiving a storage treasure makes him want to become Chen Yao’s sworn younger brother so they can pursue cooking together. His appetite also shapes his questions about unfamiliar beings: after learning about the Celestial Clan, he asks whether its manifested wings can be eaten and its horns used as medicine 15 32.
His behavior changes around family. He is notably obedient toward Aman despite teasing other girls, and enjoys being playfully subdued by his older sister. He deeply wants relatives who can remain beside him; after her adoption, he asks that his parents and grandfather also be entered into Stone Village’s genealogy 15 26 30.
His ambition gradually moves beyond defeating Shi Yi. Watching Chen Yao and Aman develop their own strengths convinces him that a true young Supreme is not determined solely by inherited eyes or bones. He celebrates beginning his Supreme Bone’s nirvana through cultivation and loses his emotional dependence on recovering the original bone 25 29.
His loyalty extends to Stone Village as a whole. When requesting sacred medicine for himself, he also asks that medicines be planted for the village children’s foundations. Later, he defends his absent parents when his grandfather criticizes their decision to leave him behind 17 43.
Abilities & Skills
Unique Cave Heaven
His unique cave heaven unifies his flesh, primordial spirit, and external cave-heaven manifestation into one structure 32.
- Void Imprisonment: An innate ability produced when his ten cave heavens become a Divine Ring 32.
- Sacrifice: Can control and sacrifice an attacking enemy’s cave heavens if that enemy lacks ten cave heavens, converting them into nourishment 32.
- “Unaffected by All Laws”: Its barrier slows and grinds down incoming techniques. It greatly weakens Aman’s sword light, but her Six Treasury Immortal Thief-enhanced strike can penetrate it; the protection is not absolute 33.
- Technique inscription: Can incorporate learned arts into its walls to strengthen and refine it 33.
- Compression: Experiments with placing it in his limbs, chest, abdomen, and primordial spirit to produce different transformations 36.
Cycle of Life and Death
A divine ability associated with his compressed cave heaven and life-and-death Divine Ring 34 40.
- Tears through Shi Yi’s attack combining yin and yang with the World-Opening War Halberd 40.
- Remains decisive even when Shi Yi uses the Heaven-Mending Art to reverse the exchange and try again 40.
Supreme Blood and Supreme Bone Nirvana
Traces left by his original Supreme Bone survive within his flesh and respond to his cultivation 17 29.
- The Six Paths of Reincarnation Heavenly Art and Phoenix runes stimulate the traces toward regeneration 29.
- Renewed supreme blood contains reincarnation runes particularly suited to him, strengthening his cultivation foundation 29.
- Supplies supreme blood and origin essence blood to Aman for her Blood God Transformation 29 40.
- Limit: Regeneration initially stalls because his accumulated foundation is insufficient. Willow Deity warns that forcing it with medicine would waste its future potential 17 29.
Reincarnation Treasure Technique
His reincarnation-related power can bring a portion of an opponent’s past or a scene from their future into the present 46 50.
- Operates within a limited time span 46.
- Changes to the past can be washed away and corrected by time 46.
Learned Cultivation Arts

| Grass Character Sword Art | Learned from Willow Deity and inscribed on his unique cave heaven 29 33. |

Story Role / Major Arcs
Great Wilderness and Return to Stone Village
Shi Hao and Furball gather Fierce Beasts into a pursuing procession and drive them through the Rain Clan’s base, devastating its forces. During the chaos, he helps Grandpa Hai relocate the endangered villagers and leaves with Shi Qingfeng. Chen Yao and Aman intercept them on the return journey, leading to the siblings’ reunion and the group’s arrival in Stone Village 14 15 16.
Void God Realm and Exposure of the Bone Theft
His first visit produces several records: breaking the passage, robbing those who try to seize his Treasure Bone, and smashing the Record Stele in embarrassment over the name “Loves Drinking Beast Milk.” When Shi Yi appears, Shi Hao immediately attacks him with a thrown boulder 20 21.
He then defends Chen Yao and Aman against the Martial King Manor’s accusations and repels a concealed soul-destroying attack. Chen Yao exposes the bone theft publicly, while confirmation that Shi Hao lives in the Stone Kingdom Ancestral Land strengthens his political standing and makes him eligible to contend for the Stone Emperor’s throne 22 23.
Heaven Mending Pavilion and Hundred Broken Mountains
After escorting Qingfeng to the Heaven Mending Pavilion, Shi Hao disrupts its examination grounds, overturns formations, and robs candidates. This establishes his Bear Child reputation in the real world 27.
In the Hundred Broken Mountains, he obtains Ghost Master’s Broken Sword, the Little Pagoda, a sentient Everlasting Spring, and the God-Striking Stone. He also meets Huo Ling’er and Yun Xi, participates in robbing Shi Yi, and escapes the closing realm with the group under the Fire Emperor’s protection 30 32.
Defeat of Shi Yi
Supported by Aman and Chen Yao’s cultivation examples, Shi Hao develops powers that overwhelmingly surpass his rival’s. During their duel, he repeatedly defeats Shi Yi’s attacks despite the latter’s use of the Heaven-Mending Art. His forehead-centered cave-heaven manifestation also overpowers Heavenly Tribulation Light. Shi Yi takes his own life after the defeat 25 40 41.
Family Reunion at Immortal Mountain
After learning that his parents are confined and that Qin Hao is being taught to hate his family, Shi Hao accompanies Willow Deity’s expedition to Immortal Mountain. He enters its hidden space with Shi Zhongtian and Aman and returns with his parents. The family subsequently settles in Stone Village, where Qin Hao begins abandoning Immortal Mountain’s influence 43 46 47 48.
