Background
Qi Tian received a GD Racer, modification parts, and Liang Xing’s Special Edition Manual during his sixth-grade summer vacation. Though he initially could not understand much of the manual, he began studying old textbooks and related material, repeatedly asking his parents for help. His interest eventually drew his programmer father, Qi Ren, into GD Racer modification and GD Chip editing. 10 27
His parents maintained strict expectations despite his growing popularity in the GD Racers and Digimon communities: he could not go out until his homework was finished. Qi Tian met those expectations by balancing study with his hobbies and excelling at both. 105
After the events of the “Autumn Outing” program, Qi Tian returned to Baisha High School. He was already accustomed to attention from classmates and fans, though he preferred escaping prolonged praise. 143
Appearance
Qi Tian is described as a handsome young boy with well-defined features inherited from his mother, Li Na. 465
- Usually carries or keeps close to his Digivice. 173
- Wears a school uniform during official Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament matches. 173
- Uses masks, sunglasses, and a hat when trying to avoid public attention on Pokémon Sun Island. 408
Personality
Qi Tian is curious, enthusiastic, and quick to immerse himself in new interests. His fascination with GD Racer modification pushed him toward independent study, while his excitement over discoveries such as the first Bulbasaur can make him impulsive. 10 358
He is also brave under pressure. He remains calm when Goblinmon emerges from his Digivice, resolves to confront Devimon again after its return, and attempts to bluff Vamdemon despite being outmatched. 30 236 249
Although competitive and disappointed by losses, Qi Tian does not remain defeated for long. He accepted comfort after losing a GD Racer final, handled a public Yu-Gi-Oh! loss with relative maturity, and continued to seek improvement. 23 174 175
