Lin Yi was the first to step out of the classroom, plunging into the thick fog.
As he emerged, light spilled through the gap at the classroom door, and faint rustling immediately came from the corridor ceiling.
Lin Yi's scalp prickled. "Holy shit," he blurted. His instincts told him that some limp, rubbery Night-Walking Species were curled up in the dark recesses of the corridor ceiling.
The corridor's Incandescent Light had a shade, and there were blind spots where the shade met the ceiling, places the light could not reach. Those spots had probably already become lurking places for the Night-Walking Species.
He instinctively reached out and touched the wall beside the classroom door.
The smooth, painted wall was now covered in warped marks, exactly like the wall he had felt in his Visual Hallucination before.
