Background and History

God Ancestor Angel God led Spirit Hall and the two great empires in ending the Dark Age, when Fallen Soul Masters and Evil Spirit Masters ravaged the continent. She charged Spirit Hall with preserving justice and order, but instructed the Qian Family not to spread Angel God faith among either its own members or the common people. 57

Before its imperial expansion, Spirit Hall’s established duties included executing criminal Fallen Soul Masters, eliminating Evil Spirit Masters who cultivated through killing, maintaining Soul Master order, conducting free Spirit Awakenings, and ensuring the empires distributed Soul Master Subsidies. 57

Spirit Hall also identified and cultivated exceptional talent. Bibi Dong, whose twin martial souls and Innate Full Soul Power marked her as extraordinary, had been rescued from an Evil Spirit Master faction and taken in by the organization before becoming its Saintess. 3

Under Qian Xunji, Spirit Hall shifted from a primarily order-keeping institution into a political, economic, military, and faith-building power. Its leadership used agricultural aid, training programs, public welfare initiatives, technological development, and organized faith to build influence among commoners, while expanding its ability to reward and cultivate Soul Masters. 57 124

During the Evil Underworld Hall crisis, Spirit Hall used the disorder as leverage for territorial concessions and wider influence. It publicly continued operations against Evil Spirit Masters while prioritizing the consolidation of regions already within its effective sphere of influence. 124 296

Soul Master Development

Spirit Hall used cultivation resources, immortal-herb-derived pills, Soul Bones, and a Contribution Point System to strengthen its membership. The Soul Ascension Pill could raise the Soul Power of a Spirit Master below Soul Sage level by one rank, while other formulas supported Martial Soul evolution and physical strengthening. 57 105

Spirit Hall trained branch stewards to teach commoners composting, intercropping, crop rotation, and interplanting. It also leased agricultural equipment such as crooked-shaft plows and waterwheels, using these programs to increase production and strengthen local support. 57 124

Faith Expansion

Although Angel God’s original decree prohibited the spread of faith, Qian Xunji treated organized belief as essential to Spirit Hall’s future strength. The organization spread the Angel Holy Word alongside agricultural and relief programs, while Golden Crocodile Douluo was intended to cultivate faith as the Earth God through land reclamation and farming assistance. 57 124

Soul Spirit System

Following continental unification, the Spirit Hall Empire centered Spirit Master development on the Soul Spirit System. This system was presented as the empire’s primary path for developing Spirit Masters and relations with Soul Beasts. 339
