Gragas finally went down.
As expected, Draven claimed the kill.
At the same time, both buffs transferred to Draven.
Not only did the 400 gold for first blood pop up above Draven's head, but so did a passive payout of a whopping 180 gold!
Bang!
In EDG's practice room, Clearlove slammed his gaming chair's armrest in frustration. "Fuck! That actually worked?!"
His E had been just one second away. One second!
But Clearlove quickly snapped out of it and called, "Run, run! We can't win this anymore!"
Sweat began beading on iBoy's and Meiko's foreheads, and they hurriedly retreated.
Just then, white light rose from Draven and Alistar.
Heal!
Draven's movement speed suddenly surged again!
Combined with the speed boost from his W, he charged forward and buried an axe in Ezreal!
An entire segment of his health bar vanished!
And with Red Buff's burning slow, Draven was closing the distance fast!
IBoy's scalp prickled, and he instinctively used Flash to put some distance between them.
Meiko could only follow suit and Flash for his life.
If they waited any longer, neither of them would escape once Alistar's abilities came off cooldown!
Lu Chen didn't get greedy. After forcing out their Flashes, he turned back to auto-attack the minions and settled into farming.
By the time he recalled and left the fountain again, he had a B. F. Sword in his inventory!
Meanwhile, Ezreal could only afford a pair of Boots of Speed on his recall.
Even more terrifyingly, Draven still had both buffs...
It was like bringing a cannon to a fight against cavemen!
"Play safe bot," was all Clearlove could manage. "Don't fight them."
It was as though a voice kept echoing in his ears: Three of you ganked two, and you still lost a man. Do you even know how to play?!
In short, this Draven was off-limits for now.
If he went down there again, he might hand over a triple kill!
"..." iBoy's eye twitched. Play safe? How the hell am I supposed to do that?!
That was a Draven with first blood, a passive payout, and both buffs!
And both he and Meiko had already burned both summoner spells.
Any competent ADC player knew that in a situation like this, merely being able to farm safely and soak up experience was a blessing...
The far more likely outcome was getting completely crushed in lane!
Still, iBoy forced out a reply. "Yeah, I'll try."
For a while...
EDG's practice room sank back into oppressive silence. Nobody spoke, and the pressure was suffocating.
Last game, they had faced a massively fed Caitlyn. She pushed quickly, but her ability to snowball wasn't actually that strong.
This game, however, they were facing a massively fed Draven! The single strongest snowballing champion among ADCs!
Worse still, the player piloting him was exceptionally proficient with Draven. The pressure he exerted was downright suffocating.
Over on IG's side, meanwhile...
"That was sick, Chen!" Baolan was the first to shout, his face wreathed in smiles.
Their bot lane had always been IG's weak point, the place every team wanted to exploit. When had they ever had a game this comfortable?
Ning Wang was practically giddy. "Dude, you're way too good. That's honestly not normal."
He didn't even have to worry about protecting bot lane.
The enemy jungler had come to gank, only to die, hand over both buffs, and lose his momentum.
Ning Wang's Jarvan IV was tearing through Clearlove's jungle without anyone bothering him. It couldn't have felt better.
"Looks like this one's in the bag too." Rookie grinned. "That's C God for you. You show up and immediately carry us through two games."
TheShy didn't say much up top. He just smiled along with them, murmuring, "Nice, nice."
A faint smile lingered on Lu Chen's lips as his hands kept moving. "Nothing special. Just the basics."
Over the next few minutes, there were no more kills in bot lane.
But Draven and Alistar's relentless aggression forced iBoy and Meiko to huddle beneath their turret, using Q to farm from far away. Baolan occasionally blocked those shots, and they even had to tread carefully just to get within experience range!
It was utterly miserable!

A little past ten minutes, the familiar forty-plus CS gap had appeared again.
The bot lane Outer Turret was also close to falling.
IBoy felt dizzy, and even breathing had become difficult. A casual axe from his opponent took off one or two segments of his health.
"How... how are we supposed to play this?"
Worse still, he noticed that Draven had begun stacking a minion wave.
In professional play, what else would you stack a wave for? A turret dive, obviously.
If a huge wave crashed into the turret and they got dived, they would lose both experience and gold. They might even lose the Outer Turret.
If that dive went through, their bot lane would be finished.
IBoy felt as though a giant word were hovering above his head: Danger.
If he couldn't even recognize this situation, he had no business playing professionally. He immediately called out, "They're going to dive us!"
Anxiety crept into Meiko's eyes as well. "We need cover. If nobody comes, we're screwed!"
Clearlove had also spotted bot lane's predicament. "I'm coming, I'm coming. Don't panic. I'll cover you while you catch this wave."
As for killing the enemy Draven?
What a joke. With Draven this fed, even a three-on-two fight would probably cost them a player!
And if Draven got another kill and cashed out the passive stacks he had accumulated over the last few minutes, he would take off for good. There would be no stopping him!
Soon, Gragas appeared in vision, ignoring the wards and openly heading down the river toward bot lane.
Lu Chen glanced at the minimap and immediately understood. "Their Gragas is coming to cover bot."
Baolan blinked. "Then what do we do? Back off?"
They certainly weren't afraid of a two-on-three fight, but surely they weren't going to dive three people with just the two of them?
Draven was ahead of the curve, but he still only had one kill. He wasn't at the point where he could steamroll everyone yet.
"Want to fight? I can be there soon. Their top has no TP," Ning Wang said, steering Jarvan IV over from his own Red Buff.
While Clearlove had been looking after bot lane earlier, Ning Wang had been repeatedly visiting the enemy top laner.
On top of that, The S
hy's Rumble had applied so much pressure that A Guang had long since used his TP.
"Fight." Lu Chen's gaze sharpened slightly as he watched Gragas approach on-screen. "Even if we trade kills here, we come out ahead."
Two waves, including a siege minion, were crashing into the turret.
Even if they traded kills, the enemy would suffer a devastating loss.
This chapter originated from
And that wasn't even counting his passive. Once he collected that payout, the snowball would really get rolling!
And so...
Under iBoy's and Meiko's disbelieving stares, Draven and Alistar completely ignored the Gragas behind them and forced the wave into the turret!
"They're still diving this?!" IBoy was stunned. "Are they out of their minds?"
Clearlove was briefly bewildered too, but he gritted his teeth and declared, "I'm almost there. If they dare dive, they're both dead!"
Two people dared to dive three under their turret?
No, even if the enemy Jarvan IV arrived, it would still only be three diving three.
This wasn't ranked!
Even if it was only a scrim, this was still a professional-level match!
Daring to dive three with three in professional play? Did they seriously think they were gods?!
