Chen Jue hurled the javelin with all his strength. The force was so great that, weightless as he was, he shot backward, barely steadying himself with the safety tether behind him and one foot hooked around the ladder outside the hatch.
But forces acted in opposite directions, and that burst of power had been like a missile launch. Chen Jue had used too much force. Although he steadied himself against the Lunar Space Station, he also pulled it off its preset flight angle.
The three astronauts inside the station had been watching Chen Jue on the surveillance feed, wanting to see what made this Special Grade Candidate so extraordinary that he could venture outside in such a thin Aerospace Combat Suit and face the space environment directly.
Someone that formidable was beyond the imagination of ordinary people like them.
But after they saw Chen Jue suddenly launch the javelin and fly backward out of the camera frame, they felt the cabin jolt violently. Several red alarms sounded inside, and all three astronauts paled at once!
"Warning! Warning! Deviation from preset angle!"
"Holy crap! He knocked the whole station off course with that one throw?"
"Quit talking! Correct the flight path, now!"
As the alarms sounded, Wang Zihai, the commander, hurriedly issued orders. The three worked together, entering a string of program requests into the computers and coordinating with the Ground Base to activate the Lunar Space Station's automatic orbital correction function.
Meanwhile, the Monitoring Hall at the Ground Base had erupted, because Chen Jue's feat of launching the telescoping javelin outside the cabin had been broadcast live on the big screen from start to finish.
"That's insane! One throw knocked the Lunar Space Station off course? How much strength would that take?"
"Is this how a Special Grade Candidate's mind
