"Yun Xiaomei!"
Seeing the familiar cloud pattern on the girl's forehead, Chen Jue froze slightly. "What brings you here?"
Yun Xiaomei gave a silvery laugh at his dumbfounded expression. "Weren't you the one who said to contact Uncle Liu and the others if we wanted to go further, Brother Chen Jue?"
Her words suddenly reminded Chen Jue of the messages he had sent his friends in the mortal world before leaving Earth. He had never expected that casual act to actually make a difference.
Looking again at the aura Yun Xiaomei gave off, he sensed a rounded, crystalline clarity like an elixir. She was no longer using Turtle Breathing to conceal her presence; she had truly taken the step into Embracing the Elixir.
"Xiaomei, have you mastered all Ten Body-Tempering Forms?" Chen Jue marveled inwardly at her progress. This mountain-lord maiden who practiced modeling oneself on nature had finally taken the step that broke through the human body's limits.
"Yes!"
"It was because I'd mastered the Ten Body-Tempering Forms. I wanted to ask you for the next cultivation method, Brother Chen Jue, but all I got were automatic replies to my messages, so I went to Uncle Liu and the others. Only after the base tested me did I finally learn that you'd gone to the moon."
"Brother Chen Jue, you really went a long way on this trip!" Yun Xiaomei smiled as she slowly removed her heavy Spacesuit, revealing a black, formfitting Combat Suit.
The Combat Suit accentuated the curves of her rounded figure beautifully, drawing repeated glances from Chen Jue.
Chen Jue felt that, despite having been apart for only a little over half a year, Yun Xiaomei seemed like a different person. Much of her childishness had begun to fade, and she was gradually becoming more mature.
