Chen Leyao visited him several times during that period, and Tang Youxin also took leave to come back a few times. Only after seeing that his condition was stable and his recovery showed no abnormalities did they finally feel a little reassured.
Normally, recovering enough to just barely be discharged after heart surgery would take at least a month, or even two to three months if recovery was slow. In reality, however, he recovered far faster than normal.
After stockpiling K protein for two days, the Second Heart began running its enhancement mode continuously at low intensity, with his body automatically mobilizing nutrients to strengthen itself.
This enhancement process actually came with a repair process as well. Just as physical exercise strained the muscles before the body repaired and strengthened them, the Second Heart's enhancement mode also stimulated his body's self-healing functions.
Of course, it certainly could not reach the level of superpowered people like Wolverine or Deadpool. It was not even comparable to a gecko that had lost its tail, but combined with modern medicine, it was still extremely effective at quickly healing wounds that had already been sutured.
After sixteen days, barely more than half a month, Xia Xu was already ready to leave the hospital. As a precaution, though, he would be better off avoiding strenuous exercise for the time being.
Thus, he had completed his discharge procedures today, but he had not given up his originally planned month-long leave. He intended to recuperate in De City for another half month and, while he was at it, plan the main focus of Star Sea
