A Mei pushed Meng Huangliang out of the villa where he was recuperating.
Compared with that sunless recuperation room in the Imperial City, where only a single window offered a view outside, Woodheart was undoubtedly far more comfortable.
Even Meng Huangliang could not help looking content.
It was already March on the solar calendar. Counting the days, it was about the beginning of spring.
No wonder it was so warm.
The two breathed out, as though exhaling all the cold and gloom of winter, leaving only the vitality of spring. Here in Woodheart, especially around the edges of the Heart of Spring at its center, every time A Mei took a walk there in her spare time, she felt as though her life had been renewed.
Yet Meng Huangliang thought of Su Ping, who had appeared before, and asked directly:
"A Mei, where's that young fellow's consciousness form? Why hasn't he entered this Dream World of mine lately?"
Clearly, to Meng Huangliang, the entire world revolved around him.
Anything he had not come into contact with was not part of this world, while what he had encountered was the world itself.
If Su Ping did not appear beside him, that meant Su Ping was not in this world at all.
It was somewhat like an idealistic sense of self, yet fundamentally different.
A Mei smiled. "Master Su is very busy. Having you moved here, Old Meng, was mainly out of his great respect for you. Stop lacing your conversations with Master Su with barbs. You don't understand the kind of status he holds in Dragon's Country these days."
Meng Huangliang scoffed. "Enough. What status could a little brat in his twenties possibly have? This dreamscape of yours really is growing less
