After Starlight evolved into an emperor species and gained a divination-like skill, Xu Ran used it to seek the missing Demonwood Half-Saint. The revelation pointed to Beast Domain No. 76, so Xu Ran set off to find the Half-Saint while Purple Cloud considered its own potential transcendent attribute.

• Starlight completed its evolution, gaining Emperor's Crown and Starlight Enlightenment, a skill that could provide one revelation each day.
• Xu Ran raised Starlight Enlightenment's proficiency and used it to receive the words "Beast Domain No. 76" as a possible clue to the Demonwood Half-Saint's location.
• Qi Yuan agreed that the distant Beast Domain No. 76 could plausibly hide the missing Half-Saint and gave Xu Ran maps and records before Xu Ran departed with his Contract Beasts.
• As Starlight carried Xu Ran toward Beast Domain No. 76, Purple Cloud worried about its own transcendent attribute, and Xu Ran reassured it that he might find a Holy Spirit race evolution route in the future.

Xu Ran tracked the wounded Demonwood Half-Saint to a secluded valley and used its gifted Leaf of Order to help it recover. The Demonwood Half-Saint revived by absorbing Earth-Type Power, but its Azure-Gold Saintly Runes remained dark, leaving its recovery incomplete.

• Xu Ran questioned the Giant Wolf Beast King and learned it had found a branch left behind by the Demonwood Half-Saint.
• Xu Ran joined the Demonwood Half-Saint's branch with the gifted Leaf of Order, awakening a pull that led him toward its location.
• Starlight carried Xu Ran and his Contract Beasts toward the pull, while Purple Cloud knocked away a peak King-Rank creature that tried to stop them.
• Xu Ran found the Demonwood Half-Saint near death in a valley and used the Leaf of Order to accelerate the healing of injuries.
• The Demonwood Half-Saint awakened and absorbed vast amounts of Earth-Type Power, growing back to hundreds of meters tall, but said its recovery was incomplete because its Azure-Gold Saintly Runes had not lit up.

Xu Ran revived the Demonwood Half-Saint by helping it return to the earth attribute, and it gave him the shattered world core Twelve needed. The Demonwood Half-Saint returned to the Demonwood Domain in secret to recover and prepare to surprise Beast Domain No. 8.

• The Demonwood Half-Saint explained that it had abandoned its order attribute to regain the earth element and recover from its near-fatal injuries, though it would need a new path to become a Holy Spirit again.
• The Demonwood Half-Saint gave Xu Ran a shattered world core, which was the final evolution material Twelve needed, and heard his account of events in No. 47 Beast Domain.
• The Demonwood Half-Saint compressed its body into a mobile treant-and-spear form and followed Xu Ran back toward Mysterious Star City.
• The Demonwood Half-Saint told Xu Ran to keep its return secret and went back to the Demonwood Domain to recover while Beast Domain No. 8 underestimated it.
• Xu Ran informed Qi Yuan and Fang Canghai of the Demonwood Half-Saint’s return, and Fang Canghai agreed to preserve the secret and buy it time to regain strength.

As No. 47 Beast Domain’s forces struggled against Beast Domain No. 8, Xu Ran advanced his contract beasts’ growth while helping plan the defense of Changping City. He joined the assault to rescue and relocate the city, as Fang Canghai revealed that the Demonwood Half-Saint was ready to enter the battle.

• Over the month of fighting, Xu Ran groomed allied fighters’ beasts and led his five contract beasts in battle, while Qin Can’s luck helped Can Can and Twelve meet their evolution requirements.
• Twelve gained more than five thousand followers by comforting wounded fighters through dreams as the Dream God, while Can Can waited for a city to use in its evolution.
• At a war council, Fang Canghai decided the allied forces must rescue Changping City and move it ten thousand li, and Xu Ran offered Can Can for the relocation.
• Fang Canghai announced a counterattack using their full strength, signaling that the concealed Demonwood Half-Saint would join the fight.
• The allied army reached Changping City and attacked, while Fang Canghai challenged six Beast Emperors and Xu Ran charged into the city.

The Demonwood Half-Saint revealed himself and fought the Beast Emperors of Beast Domain No. 8 as No. 47's forces launched a prepared counterattack. Can Can carried Changping City across the battlefield, while the Feather Dragon prince charged toward it and Xu Ran's companions prepared to face him.

• The Demonwood Half-Saint revealed his identity after striking the Profound Dragon Beast Emperor, and Ji Xuan appeared to kill a Beast Emperor who addressed him disrespectfully.
• The Beast Emperors attacked the Demonwood Half-Saint, but Fang Canghai and other allies intercepted them as the Overlord Rank battle erupted.
• Can Can grew to more than two hundred thousand meters and lifted Changping City onto its back, forcing the Beast Domain No. 8 army to fight while the city moved away.

Purple Cloud and Starlight defeated the Feather Dragon while Xu Ran and the others completed Can Can’s evolution ritual. Can Can evolved into an Emperor Species, and Twelve revealed that it had also met the requirements to evolve, so Xu Ran prepared to begin its evolution.

• Purple Cloud injured the Feather Dragon, but it drew on a deceased elder’s soul; Starlight joined Purple Cloud through Star Oath, and together they defeated it before returning to Can Can.
• Can Can carried Changping City ten thousand li to fulfill its ritual, while Twelve secured blessings from the city’s grateful residents and Xu Ran prepared the evolution resources.
• Purple Cloud and Starlight guarded Can Can as it evolved, and Purple Cloud killed approaching attackers until Can Can emerged as the Emperor Species Ancient City Turtle Dragon.

Xu Ran’s beasts evolved as the war against Beast Domain No. 8 neared its end, and the Demonwood Half-Saint revealed its true body to defeat the enemy Beast Emperors. Years later, Xu Ran completed his final quest, reclaimed his youth, and announced a new journey to his old friends.

• The Demonwood Half-Saint revealed that its true body was the spear, then defeated the Profound Dragon Beast Emperor and helped Fang Canghai destroy Beast Domain No. 8’s forces.
• An elderly Xu Ran told his granddaughter how Beast Domain No. 8’s losses and his boarding shop in Abyssbreak City shaped the aftermath of the war.
• Xu Ran completed Main quest 18, claimed its Mythic Rank guidance reward, and regained his youth.
• Xu Ran joined the nine figures in the backyard and declared that a new journey was beginning.
