It's been a whole hour. Did they crash on the way or something? Wonder if they're all dead. Gu Sheng sat by the roadside with a cigarette between his lips, grumbling to himself.

"Brother Sheng, was the boss's wife really screwing someone else?" Big-Eyed Hua pondered it for a long time before asking in a low voice.

"What? Jealous?" Gu Sheng shot him a sideways glance, his cigarette still between his lips.

Big-Eyed Hua chuckled. "I was just wondering why I never noticed a thing."

"You might as well gouge those eyes out! Why call yourself Big-Eyed Hua? Big-Eyed Blind, more like." Gu Sheng sneered.

Can't you see the guy screwing the boss's wife is right in front of you?

"Brother Xin died before I could find anything!" Gu Sheng added.

"So you didn't notice either, Brother Sheng!" Big-Eyed Hua said, suddenly enlightened.

Gu Sheng wondered how this kid could be so hopeless at understanding things. If he had anyone else around, he would have told him to get as far away as possible.

After another short wait, three sedans and two vans slowly pulled up outside the bar, and several carloads of men got out.

The man in front was short, with a fleshy, thuggish face and cropped hair. He looked to be in his thirties. It was Big B.

There was also a man with fairly long hair and a leather jacket: Chan Ho-nam. Behind him were Chicken, Big Tony, and a fat guy trying to look respectable.

So this is Chan Ho-nam... Big B's top lieutenant, the protagonist of Young and Dangerous... Gu Sheng looked him over. His looks were nothing special. He wasn't as handsome as Gu Sheng.

Gu Sheng didn't really think much of Chan Ho-nam and his crew. Chan Ho-nam at least had loyalty and brotherhood going for him, but most importantly, his girl was gorgeous.

He wondered whether she was Chan Ho-nam's girl yet. If she wasn't... then he wasn't interested.

After all, that woman was stupid and a drama queen.

"Wait here." Seeing Big B, Chan Ho-nam, and the others enter the bar, Gu Sheng got up, brushed off his backside, and followed them inside.

Once inside, Big B said, "You all know who I am. Mr. Jiang sent me here to avenge Ah Sin. That's the top priority. After that, whoever earns it gets promoted. I treat everyone equally. As for everything else, whatever arrangements you had when Ah Sin was here will stay the same."

Anyone who believes that bullshit is a fucking idiot, Gu Sheng thought.

"Everyone sit down. Now, what's the situation? Have you found the gunman or Ah Sin's wife?" Big B asked.

"No. The gunman wore a mask and disappeared right after shooting. Then the boss's wife went missing too. We still haven't found her." Four-Eyed Kid looked grim.

He wasn't exactly friendly toward Big B, but he didn't dare push it too far.

"Anyone have any leads?" Big B asked again.

Quite a few people immediately looked at Gu Sheng.

"Brother Xin suspected his wife was messing around, so he had me investigate. But before I could find anything, something happened to him..." Gu Sheng then repeated what he had said earlier.

"Thunderclap Tiger threatened to kill Brother Xin, then arranged to meet him for a sit-down. Brother Xin got killed, and right afterward, his wife disappeared. If you tell me those things aren't connected, I don't buy it. Do you?" Gu Sheng asked loudly.

"No!" Quite a few men immediately shouted.

"What we should do now is grab Thunderclap Tiger and avenge Brother Xin! The boss's wife disappearing has to have something to do with him." By the end, Gu Sheng was loudly whipping up the crowd.

"That's right! Grab Thunderclap Tiger and avenge Brother Xin!" The others immediately raised a clamor, and quite a few sprang to their feet.

"What are you doing? Rebelling?" Chan Ho-nam stepped forward, and Big B's men advanced a couple of steps behind him.

Seeing this, the underlings of Mad Dog, Chui Gai, and the others pushed forward too. The atmosphere between the two sides instantly turned explosive.

Simply put, the men in Yuen Long already resented having Big B parachuted in over their heads.

And gangsters were always eager for a fight.

All it took was a spark for the whole place to flare up.

Four-Eyed Kid sat off to one side, looking at Gu Sheng in surprise. He hadn't realized how much of a showboat Gu Sheng was, or how quickly he could stir up so many people.

Remembering how Gu Sheng had shown him no respect earlier, Four-Eyed Kid felt considerable dislike for him. At the moment, though, he couldn't really say anything.

"What are you doing? Starting a fight? Ah Sin's body isn't even cold, and instead of avenging him, you're fighting each other? Do any of you give a damn about me?" Big B cursed.

"All of you, sit back down."

"Brother B, we're not the ones causing trouble. They're the ones disrespecting you," a young man with short hair beside Big B said snidely.

Gu Sheng recognized him as Chicken at a glance.

"Yeah, exactly!" a fat guy with glasses chimed in.

"Enough. Both of you, shut up." Chan Ho-nam turned and glared at them. Those two never knew when to keep their mouths shut.

After thinking it over for a long while, Big B said, "All right. Leave a few men here to keep watch tonight. Everyone else, go home and sleep. Tomorrow I'll demand an explanation from Tung Sing. If that doesn't work, we go to war."

While the others were still considering Big B's words, Gu Sheng had already turned to leave.

He walked with both hands in his pockets, yawning as he went.

"Who the hell is that? Thinks he's hot shit, doesn't he? He was the loudest one just now. I thought he was the boss, but he doesn't have a single guy following him!" Chicken sneered at Gu Sheng's retreating back, clearly annoyed.

"Brother B, we'll wait to hear from you, then." Looking thoroughly displeased, Chui Gai said his goodbye to Big B and left with his men. Dozens of people streamed out behind him.

"Let's go. Home to sleep." Once outside, Gu Sheng called to Big-Eyed Hua and started walking back.

"What? We're just leaving?" Big-Eyed Hua hurried after him, looking back as he walked.

"What else, stay for the funeral feast? That's still a few days away." Gu Sheng sneered. Since there wasn't going to be a fight tonight, what was the point of staying?

Was staring at a bunch of street punks supposed to be fun?

"Handsome Sheng, what did you just say?" An underling nearby overheard him and came over to confront him angrily.

"Fuck off!" Gu Sheng kicked him away. With his muay thai level 3 strength, one kick left the man on the ground clutching his stomach, unable to get up, cold sweat pouring from his forehead.

"Quick-Blade Sheng, what the hell are you doing?" Several other underlings surrounded him, glaring.

"You questioning me? Go question your fucking mother!" Gu Sheng lowered his head, spat on the man's head, and swaggered off.

Street punks bullied the weak and feared the strong. You could never show weakness. Besides, Gu Sheng wasn't the sort to swallow an insult.

Cowled by his swagger, the others didn't dare block him again.

Chui Gai, who had come out behind them, watched the scene with an amused expression. How had he never noticed before that Handsome Sheng was exactly his kind of guy?

He would ask tomorrow whether Gu Sheng wanted to work for him.

"Brother Sheng, you were fucking badass today!" Big-Eyed Hua called loudly as he followed behind Gu Sheng.

"Go the fuck home and sleep."

"Brother Sheng, aren't you going back?" Big-Eyed Hua asked in surprise.

"Back my ass. Is that place fit for a human being? A pigsty's cleaner."
