Mu You guided Warhawk's view deeper into the battlefield and finally spotted something.
It was a white foal, only about a meter tall, with a hard, spiraled horn on its head. It darted nimbly back and forth through the forest, and not a single spell that flew at it from a distance managed to hit it.
But humans had sealed off the paths on both sides. Despite all its running and jumping, the foal could not break out of the encirclement and seemed a little anxious.
By the look of things, this foal was probably what Werewolf and the military were fighting over.
Before Mu You could take a closer look at what it actually was, the nearby battle suddenly changed.
Seven more people in trench coats arrived from another direction and joined the battle, instantly turning it into a one-against-ten fight!
Werewolf had barely managed to hold his own against three thanks to his tremendous regenerative ability, but with it suddenly becoming one against ten, there was no way he could cope.
Mu You was delighted. These reinforcements had come at just the right time!
He hoped the military's players would teach Werewolf a good lesson. Better still if they killed him on the spot, removing a major threat for him outright.
Unfortunately, Mu You's curse had no effect.
The moment Werewolf saw their reinforcements arrive, he wasted no time lingering in battle. He immediately pulled back, then actually took out a palm-sized humanoid statue.
The statue depicted a Paladin in full silver armor holding a sword and shield. There were three indicator-like points of light on its base, but only two were flashing.
As Werewolf channeled magic power into it, another of those two lights immediately went out.
