Mu You seized the Eternal Night City Shards from Crimson Dawn’s chosen runner and brought them to Lin Xue, but the barrier rejected her when she tried to enter. The chapter ended with Mu You and Lin Xue unsure why she could not claim the City Lord position.
Mu You and his allies secured Eternal Night City by having Xiao Ya claim the City Lord position after Lin Xue was barred from entering the inheritance barrier. After the city emerged in the Star Spirit World, Mu You entered the newly unlocked Power Room beneath Dawn City's Dungeon and discovered a gigantic winged corpse connected to the room by tubes.
Mu You discovered the God of Order’s remains beneath Dawn City and began an inheritance quest that required a divine artifact and materials from another deity. In Dark City, the vampires prepared to relocate to Eternal Night City, while Mu You gave Mai evolution potions and asked her to investigate the burial sites of the Blood Clan’s historical Dukes.
Mu You secured the Moon Scepter and entered the Silent Library, where he found the Black-Robed One’s account of the Fools and the Lesser Calamity Era. The notes revealed that the Fools built the Sky Cities, vanished into Above the High Heavens, then returned with a catastrophe before the Wizards’ Association hunted them down.
Mu You searched the library for clues to his inheritance quest and found that the Pen of Order had once belonged to the vanished Desert Emperor Reydas Caesar, while a nursery rhyme pointed toward a Demon God in White Maple City. After escaping the Silence Beasts and returning to Dark City, Mu You learned that Virgo had given Mu Mianmeng a rare mask because she wanted to ask him a favor for the Catfolk.
Mu You addressed Eternal Night City's recruitment shortage by recruiting Eugene to build an alchemical workforce there, offering him the resources to create a new Clockwork City. The chapter ended with Mu You wagering a Forest Spirit Core on Eugene establishing an Alchemy Factory and using up its energy to develop the city within half a year.
Mu You recruited Eugene and a Goblin Engineer to build a new Clockwork City in Eternal Night City, then told the Sky City Lords that their cities were powered by Gods’ remains and could grant them Godskins. After the City Lords shared their Gods’ names, Mu You identified a pattern among them and suspected Dawnlight City had a first-tier God.
Mu You pursued clues about White Maple City and obtained a special quest from Salina to place a teleportation array there, but his high level made the undead territory dangerous. After finding the Tower of Heroes marked as a restricted zone, he entered the city and ran into Veda, who tried to ambush him near a Headless Horseman.
Mu You killed Veda and the Headless Horseman, then assembled fluorescent badge fragments to uncover the Fairy Princess’s plea for help and accept a quest to rescue her from the Tower of Heroes. He reached Hero Village as the tower’s opening approached and discovered that its Hero Badges came in types matching the attributes of the Sky Cities’ God Statues.
Mu You entered the Tower of Heroes as an Earth Hero, learned that its powers and progression differed from the Star Spirit World, and fought through the first floor. After risking his life to collect Divinity Crystals, he advanced to Earth Believer, upgraded his Divine Arts, and reached the stairs to the second floor.
Mu You fought his way to the Tower of Heroes’ tenth floor, where a Hellhound defeated him despite repeated attempts. Realizing he needed a more coherent build, he chose to abandon his Earth Hero identity and switch to a Moon Hero.
Mu You used the Moon Scepter to become a Moon Hero and locked every Tower of Heroes battle to a full moon, helping him climb rapidly to floor thirty and take first place. After reaching floor thirty-nine, he fought Hero No. 1 and finally won by the narrowest margin after rewinding more than ninety times.
Mu You claimed the Tower of Heroes’ floor 40 first clear, bought moon-themed relics to strengthen his future runs, and agreed to duel Isaac every day for a chance to win the Moon Goddess’s Eye. The chapter ended with a dust-covered girl in a Wizard’s robe emerging from a buried well in the wilderness outside K City, unsure where she was.
Mu You climbed the Tower of Heroes, defeated the Demon Warden on floor fifty, and rescued the Fairy Princess, who granted him Divine Compatibility. His rescue also ended the introductory quest and unlocked the Tower of Heroes trial for all Fools, with the Demon King on floor one hundred as its goal.
Mu You completed the White Maple City quest after other players wiped out the undead and claimed an Arcanist Set exchange voucher. After taking a break to browse guides, he spotted Cola watching a news report showing a girl wielding fire in K City.
Mu You learned that Chris Fua had entered Earth through the dry well and was surrounded by police after beating a breakfast shop owner. He reached her at the abandoned mine and persuaded her to leave peacefully, though her troubles on Earth remained unresolved.
Mu You discovered that Fuya had Fool blood and urged her to investigate her family’s hidden history, while she began using the game to contact her parents. He then entered the Tower of Heroes with Moon and Fire powers and, after an unusually lucky run, reached the floor-ninety boss with a chance to go farther than before.
Mu You reached the Tower of Heroes’ summit, where the Demon King killed him through the Seven Deadly Sins and proved far beyond his current strength. After studying the Demon King’s abilities and watching Solomon reveal a Godskin inheritance quest, Mu You received a private message with news about the historical figure he had asked Solomon to investigate.
Mu You learned of a possible Caesar Cult and shared leads on Divine Corpses with Solomon before forging the Moon Scepter into a Super Artifact. Its eclipse ability gave him a possible way to defeat the Demon King, and he planned a tower strategy that depended on raising the Wind Element and finding the Wind God Boots.
Mu You developed a strategy for weakening the Demon King, and after obtaining the Cursed Doll and Wind God's Boots, he reached thirteen stars and challenged the Demon King again. The Demon King stole the Cursed Doll, but Mu You discovered that another player had already burdened him with the Commandment of Humility.
Mu You survived the Demon King’s pursuit by exploiting the lunar eclipse and the Cursed Doll, then endured a desperate final attack until the Heavenly Dog killed the Demon King. He cleared Fool’s Tower Server No. 2 and became its administrator, with one thread of causality connected to World-Creation Mountain.
After Mu You killed the Demon King and became an Administrator of the Tower of Fools, he examined his new permissions and followed a thread of causality to World-Creation Mountain, where another mysterious figure noticed him. The tower’s creators learned that Server No. 2 had been cleared and decided to launch the faith system within a week.
Red Sleeve reported that the tower had been cleared by someone else, while the child controlling her son’s body ordered preparations to send Dawnlight City into the sky. Mu You refined the Demon God’s remains for his inheritance, then found the dangerous entrance to the True World and was warned not to leave before preparing for its hazards.
Mu You explored the giants’ world, learned that death could cost him unequipped items, and survived several dangers with the Pocket Watch. After finding a warning that a tsunami struck Entrance Two every hour, he was caught by the approaching wave and died.
Mu You survived a tsunami by sheltering beneath a beetle’s waterproof shell, then explored beyond the mapped area and discovered a giant’s remains that he began refining. A living giant killed him, forcing him to use his Resurrection Stone, and he decided to share his tower-clearing guide so others could help gather information about the giant world.
