In 2076, in this Cyberpunk World, dodging bullets was not impossible.
It only required meeting a few conditions. Physically, you needed sufficiently advanced cyberware. It should enhance your nerves, strengthen your muscles and bones, and improve your blood's ability to circulate. The more needs it met, the better.
Then you needed the appropriate processors and shards. These processors would extract highlights from the optic nerves through the Cyberware Modulator, filtering out details such as gun muzzles and triggers that helped predict bullet trajectories.
By judging the muzzle and the timing of the trigger pull, the shard quickly calculated the bullet's trajectory, then activated the cyberware to dodge before the shot was fired.
The chance of successfully dodging was tied to many factors: the computing power of the entire system, image clarity, and, most importantly, the enemy's reaction and adjustment speed.
An enemy with faster reactions and quicker adjustments could keep you firmly in their sights while you moved around erratically. As long as their reaction and adjustment speeds were on the same level as yours, the one who fired first would always have the advantage.
