Qin Manjiang and Yi Lianhai confronted Bai Yang as the world collapsed, and Bai Yang revealed that he had gathered the spirit pupils and made himself a god through the Snow Mountain Giant Ghost. He disclosed that he was the Giant Ghost—and the world’s first ghost—leaving Qin Manjiang and Yi Lianhai stunned.

• The Snow Mountain Giant Ghost swallowed every remaining player, and Qin Manjiang arrived at Snow Mountain too late to save them.
• Qin Manjiang recognized Bai Yang’s soul inside the Giant Ghost, whose face began transforming into Bai Yang’s.
• Bai Yang freed Yi Lianhai from the Black Meatball and Qin Manjiang from the White Pupil God, bringing their consciousnesses together on the snowy peak.
• Qin Manjiang and Yi Lianhai learned that Bai Yang had reincarnated with his memories and collected nearly all the original spirit pupils to empower the Giant Ghost.

Bai Yang revealed how the Red and White Pupils created him and declared that he would defy fate by destroying them and rebuilding the world. After Bai Yang seized Qin Manjiang’s and Yi Lianhai’s bodies, Qin Manjiang noticed that Shen Hai had arrived and might provide a vessel for their souls.

• Bai Yang told Qin Manjiang and Yi Lianhai that they were destined to become the new White and Red Pupil Gods, but he believed their emergence would only perpetuate the cycle.
• Bai Yang declared himself an abandoned being outside fate and vowed to kill Qin Manjiang and Yi Lianhai, then rebuild the world.
• Bai Yang merged with the Giant Ghost and seized Qin Manjiang’s White Pupil body and the scarlet organ from Yi Lianhai’s body.
• The Giant Ghost swallowed both bodies, leaving Qin Manjiang and Yi Lianhai without vessels as Bai Yang’s power spread across Snow Mountain.
• Qin Manjiang noticed Shen Hai at the foot of the mountain and realized his body might contain a soul imbued with divinity.

After the Snow Mountain Giant Ghost exploded and melted the mountain, Yi Lianhai pursued a passage to another world while Qin Manjiang searched the deadly flood for Shen Hai. The chapter ended with Shen Hai emerging alive from a crack in the cliff and calling to Qin Manjiang.

• Shen Hai reached Snow Mountain, where Qin Manjiang sent him memories explaining the situation as the Snow Mountain Giant Ghost swelled and exploded.
• The Giant Ghost’s searing flesh and blood melted Snow Mountain, unleashing a catastrophic flood, while Yi Lianhai chose to save his power rather than stop Bai Yang.
• Qin Manjiang searched the flood for Shen Hai as Bai Yang emerged in a monstrous form above the mountain.
• Yi Lianhai accumulated enough red pupil power to open a misty door and crossed into the other world he had sensed.
• Qin Manjiang began to lose his sense of purpose after finding no sign of Shen Hai, but Shen Hai crawled from a cliff crack and called out that he was alive.

Qin Manjiang merged with Shen Hai to face Bai Yang’s world-destroying Giant Eye, while Yi Lianhai tried to remain in the New World by giving up supernatural power. Li Xijiu revealed that he had become a Ghost Story and sent Yi Lianhai back; as the White Pupil God began to collapse, a blood-red figure appeared and empowered Shen Hai and Qin Manjiang.

• Qin Manjiang offered Shen Hai the choice of sending the unconscious player phantoms to another world or becoming a vessel for Qin Manjiang and the White Pupil God, and Shen Hai chose the vessel.
• Yi Lianhai realized the New World was rejecting his Red Pupil Power and decided to give it up, but Li Xijiu revealed he had survived within him and could hear his thoughts.
• Li Xijiu explained that he had become a Ghost Story, revealed that the paused Cinema at 36 South Sky Road still existed, and commanded Yi Lianhai to go back.
• Qin Manjiang merged with Shen Hai, and their White Pupil God froze the surroundings and Bai Yang while approaching the Giant Eye.
• As the White Pupil God began to disintegrate, a fissure opened in the sky and a blood-red figure entered Shen Hai’s body, restoring strength to him and Qin Manjiang.

Li Xijiu joined Qin Manjiang and Shen Hai to unleash the ghosts of Threshold Cinema against Bai Yang, but Jiang Du warned that destroying Bai Yang would doom the world unless someone absorbed his power. Qin Manjiang, Shen Hai, Li Xijiu, and the sheltered souls chose to sacrifice themselves, and the story ended with the world renewed and a doll found by Yue Xu.

• Li Xijiu opened a path to Threshold Cinema and unleashed its vengeful ghosts, allowing Qin Manjiang, Shen Hai, and Li Xijiu to attack Bai Yang with the Red and White Pupils’ power.
• Jiang Du warned that Bai Yang’s destruction would cause the world to collapse and said someone had to absorb his power at the cost of losing all emotion.
• Qin Manjiang moved to absorb Bai Yang’s power, but Shen Hai and Li Xijiu followed him, and the souls sheltered by Qin Manyi joined them.
• The souls drained Bai Yang’s divine power, and the world recovered as generations passed and a new story began.
• In the renewed world, young versions of Qin Manjiang, Li Xijiu, and Shen Hai encountered familiar people on their way to school.
• In the real world, Yue Xu found a scholar-dressed doll in an alley, took it home, and dreamed that a man in a white lab coat asked him what year it was.
