Cao Jinxing helped crush the Demon Cult at Mount Hua, claimed Lü Dongbin’s inheritance, and escaped Mad Maitreya with the Heavenly Dao Sword. After recovering, he teamed up with Bai Yunxiu to obtain the Wandering Immortal Coins and traveled to Shaoxing, where a new enemy challenged his sword.

• Cao Jinxing led 5,600 troops to Mount Hua, killed Xu Danqing, and used the Eight Formation Diagram to burn through the Demon Cult forces.
• Cao Jinxing entered Three Treasures Cave with Xiao Yuan, claimed the Heavenly Dao Sword, and completed Lü Dongbin’s martial arts inheritance.
• Cao Jinxing killed Laughing King Kong and Luo Chou and drove the Maitreya Spirit Child over a cliff, but Mad Maitreya attacked and forced him to escape after taking the Pure Yang Golden Elixirs.
• Xuan Yuan Fourteen and Bai Yunxiu helped Cao Jinxing recover, and Song Chengxi recruited him to help locate the Qilin and investigate the Great Dao Stele.
• Cao Jinxing and Bai Yunxiu infiltrated Wansong Manor, stole the Wandering Immortal Coins, and escaped after fighting the manor’s defenders.
• Cao Jinxing and Bai Yunxiu traveled to Shaoxing, where Cao killed five Five Element Ninja and rescued Yue Yang and the wounded Lu Kunlun.

Cao Jinxing joined the expedition into Heavenly Maiden Mountain, where the Xie clan, Song Chengxi, and the Qilin turned the battle over the cave into a deadly struggle. After surviving and advancing to Tongyou Peak, Cao Jinxing returned to Shaoxing and moved against a Wokou group sheltered by Zhu Lu.

• Cao Jinxing defeated the Three Fiends on Queting Mountain, reached the Tongyou Ninth Layer by draining them, and received Song Chengxi’s Eight Desolations Sun-Shooting Bow.
• Cao Jinxing entered Dragon Pool with the expedition, where hidden Xie clan fighters attacked the group and revealed that White-Browed Daoist was Xie Tianjing.
• The Xie elders ambushed the expedition near Qilin Cave, but the Ji father and son and their allies fought back as the Qilin emerged to defend them.
• Cao Jinxing betrayed Zhao Xizhen’s formation and attacked the other cultivators, while Song Chengxi froze the battlefield and fought them over the Qilin.
• Cao Jinxing helped Song Chengxi defeat the expedition’s leaders, but the Fire Phoenix healed the Qilin and drove the survivors away from the cave.
• The Qilin and Fire Phoenix revived five buried survivors with their blood essence, while Cao Jinxing and Bai Yunxiu absorbed Qilin blood and advanced to Tongyou Peak.
• Cao Jinxing reunited with Lu Kunlun, then raided Black Jade Studio after learning Zhu Lu was sheltering Wokou there.

Cao Jinxing exposed the Wokou conspiracy, crushed the invasion of Ninghai and Taizhou, and nearly died after forcing a breakthrough to defeat his enemies. Recovering with Qin Xuanji on Mist-Flow Island, he uncovered an ancient inheritance and arrived with her at the island household.

• Cao Jinxing learned from Kitahara Ryusei that Xu Hai had traded the Elixir of Immortality recipe for help smuggling Wokou and that the Wokou planned to unleash Gyuki against the Qi Family Army.
• Jiajing punished Yan Shifan and the officials implicated in the conspiracy, promoted Zhang Juzheng, and gave Cao Jinxing the Soaring Dragon Armor and broad authority.
• Cao Jinxing defeated the Opera House assassins and Japanese warriors who ambushed him outside Shaoxing Prison, then established Tianyuan under Yao Hongli and prepared to join Qi Jiguang.
• Cao Jinxing and Qin Xuanji studied Zhang Sanfeng’s Rootless Tree, and Cao combined it with the Primordial Chaos Art to create the Primordial Chaos Limitless Art.
• Cao Jinxing reached Ninghai as the Wokou sacked the city, killed their leaders and allies, and delivered the collaborating officials to Qi Jiguang for punishment.
• At Taizhou, Cao Jinxing killed thousands of Wokou and fought Wang Zhi’s coalition, but Yang Xi took the ambush meant for him, driving Cao to force a breakthrough and unleash Ice-Seal Three Thousand Li.
• Cao Jinxing killed Kuxing and Sun Yichuan, pursued and beheaded Zhang Mingyan, then fell into the sea from the backlash of his technique and was rescued by Qin Xuanji, and he later sent word that he was safe.
• Cao Jinxing and Qin Xuanji explored Li Shaojun’s hidden chamber, acquired Nethersea Jujubes and ancient techniques, and continued to Mist-Flow Island, where Cao solved a puzzle ball revealing Mozi’s Non-Attack Sword Technique.

Cao Jinxing protected Qin Xuanji from betrayal, clashed with the Gongshu Family over Yan Armor, and helped uncover a revived Jiaoren beneath Cangming Island. Ehuang freed the captured Qin Family members but demanded Cao Jinxing’s help finding the Black Tortoise, leaving him to negotiate under threat to his allies.

• Cao Jinxing recovered on Mist-Flow Island as Qin Xuanji confronted Qin Xuanque over his treatment and Duanmu Nan turned against the Qin Family.
• Cao Jinxing accompanied Qin Xuanji to Rare Beast Island, where Duanmu Nan and Huang Siyuan ambushed them, but Cao Jinxing and his allies defeated the traitors and captured Huang Siyuan.
• Huang Baiyuan abandoned plans to attack Cangming Island after learning of Cao Jinxing’s strength, while the Qin Family investigated the sunken Yuzhang Tower Ship.
• Cao Jinxing and Qin Xuanji disguised themselves for the sea market, where Cao Jinxing acquired Bifang and exposed Xiangjun inside the Chu Dance Bronze Figure.
• The Gongshu Family attacked the Fang Family to seize Xiangjun, but Cao Jinxing defeated their mechanical forces, took control of the Yan Armor, and left with Gongshu Yi.
• Cao Jinxing sent Gongshu Yi with Shi Yi and other Qin Family experts to dismantle Yuzhang’s traps, where they awakened Ehuang, a Jiaoren who captured them and began controlling the island’s guards.
• After Leng Hongzhi falsely claimed the island masters were trapped in Yuzhang, Cao Jinxing saw through the story, summoned reinforcements, and went to Cangming Island with Qin Xuanji.
• Ehuang freed the captured Qin Family members and asked Cao Jinxing to help her find the Black Tortoise’s heart’s blood or Turtle Shell in exchange for helping him reach Faxiang, but Cao Jinxing warned her not to threaten his allies.
