After breakfast, Jiang Lan headed straight for the north of the city.
It was the last day of his break.
Once outside the city gates, he pushed Wind-Walking Step to its limit and raced toward the Wilderness Zone.
The moment he started running, he felt the difference.
He was faster.
Much faster than yesterday.
Before, running from the city gates to the boundary between the outer and middle zones had taken him about three or four minutes.
Today, however, he arrived in just over two minutes.
Seven hundred and fifty agility really was impressive.
Once there, Jiang Lan spread out his perception and darted around using Wind-Walking Step, killing any Fourth Tier Ferocious Beast he encountered with a single kick.
As for the third-tier ones, he could not even be bothered with them.
But...
As Jiang Lan continued killing, something struck him as odd.
Why were there more and more Fourth Tier Ferocious Beasts around here?
He had been hunting in this area for three days straight, and the Ferocious Beasts were not an endless resource. His hunting efficiency should have been dropping.
In reality, however, his hunting efficiency had not decreased at all. Instead, it was still improving.
Jiang Lan had even discovered several Fourth Tier Ferocious Beasts in the outer zone.
That had never happened over the previous two days.
On his earlier trips out of the city, practically nothing but third-tier beasts had roamed the outer zone. He had needed to reach at least the boundary area to encounter Fourth Tier ones.
Today, he had barely entered the outer zone before encountering three Fourth Tier Red-Maned Lions in succession.
It was a good thing for him, saving him plenty of travel time.
