Looking at the cave entrance, Jiang Lan took a deep breath and ducked inside.
The cave was about four or five meters high and roughly two meters wide, with rough rock walls and uneven ground full of pits.
Jiang Lan walked another dozen or so meters before the passage gradually widened.
The concentration of spiritual energy in the air was even higher than outside.

But he soon recovered from his surprise.
He would kill the Ferocious Beast first. Now was clearly not a good time to absorb spiritual energy.
Gathering his focus, Jiang Lan walked a little farther and reached the end of the passage.
The space before him suddenly opened up.
Jiang Lan stopped and surveyed his surroundings.
It was an enormous underground chamber, at least three or four times larger than the previous cavern. Its ceiling was extremely high, looking to be over a dozen meters above him, with many stalactites hanging down.
At the very center of the chamber, a massive rock platform rose from the ground. Large quantities of spiritual energy crystals were embedded in its surface and the surrounding rock walls.
The size and density of these crystals were far beyond anything in the previous cavern.
The largest few were even the size of watermelons, their surfaces giving off a soft glow.
At the very top of the rock platform, Jiang Lan spotted several different crystals.
These crystals were mostly fist-sized, but they were translucent throughout, with light visibly flowing slowly inside them like liquid.
The spiritual energy fluctuations they emitted were also very distinct.
