Back in the Mortal World, Chu Ge began shaping the Netherworld while the Heavenly Emperor and Dao Venerable maneuvered for power, and Azure Dragon passed its laws to Qiu Wuji.

• Chu Ge and Qiu Wuji fought the Buddha Ancestor’s forces as the Vermilion Bird awakened through Qingyan, and their allies destroyed the Buddha statue and burned the Buddha Ancestor’s trapped spirit to ash.

In the Mortal Realm, Chu Ge and his allies confronted Sandru’s plot and Michael’s attempted descent, while Qiu Wuji and Chu Tiange drove the Heavenly Emperor into retreat.
