Arc 20Fire Island and the Whip

Kallen’s squad stopped Gilagon’s rampage on Fire Island, where Taixisen died after confronting the Church’s failures and its enemies. Back in York City, Kallen became captain of the Whip of Order’s action unit and began investigating Vicolai, whose crimes brought him into conflict with Bishop Dorf.

  • Kallen and his squad fought the Hunched Youth while Gilagon rampaged across Fire Island, and Blazet recognized Kevin before confronting Kallen.
  • Laura’s appeal and Taixisen’s attacks helped calm Gilagon, while Taixisen killed the Delan leaders and demanded the pirate families atone.
  • Taixisen admitted the Order Church needed reform, urged its followers to hold even gods accountable, and died after praising the God of Order.
  • High Priest Norton ordered action against the Delan and Watson Families, while Laisanna sentenced Gilagon to serve Order for one hundred years.
  • Fudeng took Kallen’s squad to Fire Island, where allied church fleets defeated the pirate forces, and the squad returned to York City.
  • Neo appointed Kallen captain of an action unit and enlisted him to investigate Vicolai, whose establishment drained people’s souls and Spiritual Power.
  • Kallen prepared Mr. Pavaro’s records and letter as evidence, then went with Vic to confront Bishop Dorf and Vicolai over Richard’s injuries.
  • Dorf demanded Richard’s expulsion and loss of his Power of Faith, but Kallen challenged the Regional Administration Office’s authority to convict a Whip of Order member.
Chapters 476–500 Vol. 5 Read

Ch. 476Missed connections in fate

Kallen and Laura cautiously sized each other up while pretending to be clerics from rival churches, then departed without a confrontation. Kallen joined Puer and Gilagon through Kevin’s connection, said goodbye to the sealed hound, and discussed how Gilagon could escape safely when his seal broke.

  • Kallen invited Laura into his room, while Alfred stayed outside with her two companions and noticed their extraordinary weight.
  • Puer and Kevin sensed that Laura was unnaturally light and suspected she might be an angel accompanied by Eternal Fallers.
  • Kallen and Laura exchanged questions about their supposed churches, then parted without sending anyone to follow the other group.
  • Kallen returned to the others and connected to Gilagon’s consciousness through Kevin, where Puer introduced Gilagon as her new follower.
  • Puer advised Gilagon to hide at sea after his seal broke, and Kallen said Gilagon might recover abilities from his bloodline.
  • Gilagon dodged Kallen’s attempt to pat his head, so Kevin moved in to receive the pat instead.

Ch. 477World annihilation!

Kallen and his team accompanied Taufman to the Teleportation Magic Formation hall so Taufman could sabotage the arrival of a Light elder and help them escape. The elder forced his way through anyway, then freed Gilagon, whose emergence devastated Fire Island before the giant hound tried to undo the damage.

  • Kallen left with his team and met Taufman, who escorted them toward the Teleportation Magic Formation hall and promised to destroy the receiving formation after sending them away.
  • Old Wenbote challenged Kallen’s presence, but Kallen touched his shoulder and shared a warm aura of light before the group entered the hall.
  • When the Light elder arrived ahead of schedule, Taufman destroyed the active receiving formation and told his followers that Order had trapped them.
  • A Flame Phoenix spirit recreated the receiving formation, and the Hunched Youth appeared, attacked Taufman, and began draining his power.
  • The Hunched Youth invoked the God of Flame’s Attendant and released Gilagon, the Abyssal Three-Headed Hound of Sin, from beneath Fire Island.
  • Gilagon emerged from the volcano and shook buildings down, then tried to swallow the falling fire and magma and lick the damaged houses back together.

Ch. 478Hell on Earth!

The Evil Three-Headed Hound Gilagon awakened on Fire Island, where Laura tried to guide it back to the Abyss and the Delan Family attempted to bind it through an ancestral ritual. Blazet’s bewitchment drove Gilagon mad, turning the island into a slaughterground as the old captain watched from afar.

  • The old captain witnessed Gilagon’s emergence over Fire Island and began to believe Alfred’s claim that meeting his young master had changed his destiny.
  • Laura defied Bula and Deli, transformed into an angel, and called to Gilagon with memories of its homeland in the Abyss.
  • Old Wenbote ordered the Delan Family’s ritual to begin, and hundreds of Delan children were drained to awaken the family’s bloodline power.
  • Loban Delan used a rusted nail and the ritual to summon the Primordial Ancestor, who offered Gilagon freedom in exchange for a Master-Servant Contract.
  • The Hunched Youth revealed Blazet, who bewitchingly stirred Gilagon’s buried anger and resentment until the hound lost control.
  • Gilagon attacked Fire Island with magma, meteors, and its snapping jaws, killing residents as tears shone in all three of its heads.

Ch. 479The God of Order's Will!

As Fire Island descended into slaughter, Taixisen and his companions approached to investigate, and he decided to intervene despite Vic's warnings. They found an old captain willing to sail toward the island, which Taixisen took as the God of Order's will.

  • Blazet and the hunched young man watched the Abyss Sin Three-Headed Hound massacre Fire Island's inhabitants while discussing their plan to revive the Church of Light and bring down Order.
  • The old captain ordered his crew to sail back to Fire Island to evacuate the important people, but his sailors and sons refused.
  • Taixisen and Vic traveled toward Fire Island in a small boat, where they argued about the Order Church, Rasma's departure, and the church's handling of the Mipos Archipelago.
  • Mavario identified the creature on Fire Island as the Abyss Sin Three-Headed Hound-Gilagon, and Taixisen used a spell to observe the chaos before deciding to go there.
  • Taixisen, Vic, and Mavario boarded the old captain's ship, and the captain announced that they were heading to Fire Island.
  • Taixisen laughed and declared that the captain's decision was the God of Order's will.

Ch. 480It's you!

Taufman overloaded the hunched young man with light power, giving Kallen and his squad an opening to attack him. As Blazet intervened, Kevin’s gaze met the ghostly face’s, and Blazet recognized him; elsewhere, a deity arrived at the ruined God-Burial Land and set coordinates.

  • Taufman poured his remaining light power into the pythons, making the hunched young man stiffen and giving Kallen an opening to strike.
  • Kallen and his squad attacked together, with Muli, Ventura, Bart, Blanche, Aisili, and Philomina helping pin down and wound the hunched young man.
  • Memphis and Mars used the Triple Defensive Formation to suppress the enemy’s attempt to teleport away while Kallen drove the Sword of Arius into his chest.
  • Blazet looked toward Kallen, but Kevin leaped in front of Alfred and met the ghostly face’s gaze; Blazet recognized him and exclaimed, “It’s you!”
  • At the ruined God-Burial Land, another deity examined the remains, found his broken skull, and set coordinates.

Ch. 481One glance, Order!

Blazet with a Ghost Face pulled Raniedal into his domain and tried to persuade him to lead the beings of the God-Burial Land to the world, revealing that Miles was buried there. As Kallen fought the occupants of a hunched young man’s body, Blazet used Miles’s music to threaten the group with the Evil Three-Headed Hound, but then recognized Kallen and was terrified.

  • Blazet with a Ghost Face confronted Raniedal in his domain and asked why he had retained his original self, then offered him a deal to bring the God-Burial Land to the world.
  • Blazet told Raniedal that Miles was buried in the God-Burial Land, and Raniedal reacted with shock before regaining his composure.
  • Kallen drove the Sword of Arius into the hunched young man’s body and endured the attacks of its occupants while Alfred redirected a Spiritual Storm away from him.
  • The Sword of Arius broke under the pressure, so Kallen plunged his arm into the mass of pus and bound it with Chains of Order, setting it alight with Order Fire and the Flame of Light.
  • Blazet played a melody associated with Miles, prompting the Evil Three-Headed Hound to direct a magma attack toward Kallen and the others.
  • Kallen looked up and met Blazet’s gaze, and Blazet recognized him as Order and cried out in terror.

Ch. 482A True Order Follower

Kallen held the Hunched Youth and Blazet at bay while Gilagon’s magma threatened to kill him and his remaining companions, until Mavario’s enormous Black Prison Castle shielded them. After Taixisen and Vic arrived, Taixisen condemned the Church’s retreat from its duty to maintain Order and confronted the forces threatening the island.

  • Kallen ordered his team to withdraw while he kept the Hunched Youth pinned, and Memphis and Puer chose to remain with him; Kevin tried to follow Puer but Alfred dragged him away.
  • As Gilagon’s magma surged toward them, Mavario arrived in a colossal Black Prison Castle and used it to shield Kallen and the others from the blast.
  • The magma passed, and the Hunched Youth, Blazet’s separated portion, and their attached companions burst apart and died; Kallen collapsed from exhaustion.
  • Taixisen seized Kallen and threatened to kill him, but Vic revealed that Taixisen had only pretended to strike and urged him not to overexert himself.
  • Taixisen rejected negotiation, argued that Order should prevent suffering rather than serve the Church’s interests, and advanced toward Gilagon and the island’s other threats while proclaiming that the Order God Church was not dead.

Ch. 483Don't disgrace... him!

Taixisen used the [War Scythe] to free Gilagon from the Abyss Church’s influence and punish those responsible for the destruction on Fire Island. After defeating Laura and the Abyss forces, he urged Vic not to disgrace the person who had taught him.

  • Laura and Xilin continued trying to control Gilagon even after Order arrived, while Milis withdrew in fear of the consequences.
  • Taixisen borrowed the [War Scythe] from Mavario and struck Gilagon repeatedly, helping it break free of the influence driving its rampage.
  • Gilagon calmed down and retreated in horror at the destruction it had caused, while Mavario bound it with the foundations of Black Prison Castle.
  • Taixisen attacked Laura, Bulan, and Deli, killed them despite their appeals to negotiate, and destroyed the Delan Family’s Primordial Ancestor.
  • Taixisen ordered the pirate-family clan leaders and their close relatives to atone within three days, then returned to Vic and told him not to disgrace his teacher.

Ch. 484I disgraced Grandpa

Kallen confronted his opportunism and hypocrisy in a dream, realizing that he had failed to uphold the Order Regulations he claimed to believe in. After waking, he told Alfred that he had disgraced Grandpa, while Taixisen waited for the church to arrive and reconcile with High Priest Norton.

  • Taixisen recovered his human form, spoke with Vic about his teacher, and told Mavario that he had no need to interfere in Vic’s path.
  • Milis submitted to punishment, offered the Castle Family’s protection, and arranged for his descendants to take poison and die before the Order God Church arrived.
  • Taixisen discussed his failing health, the church’s divisions, and High Priest Norton’s expected arrival with Mavario.
  • Kallen dreamed of the people punished under the Order Regulations and admitted that he had repeatedly chosen self-interest over the order he claimed to uphold.
  • Kallen woke and told Alfred that his confession was not meant for Vic, then concluded that he had brought shame on Grandpa.

Ch. 485The High Priest's Guards

After recovering, Kallen stayed at the Castle Family estate to see Taixisen before leaving and confronted Mobiten Benda when he attacked his grandson Muli. Mobiten entered Taixisen’s room on the High Priest’s orders, while Kallen remained ready to defend Muli and warned that he was in a bad mood.

  • Kallen ate at the estate, learned Puer and the others had gone to visit Gilagon, and chose not to disturb Taixisen when the old man refused to see him.
  • Vic asked Taixisen to help him join Kallen’s squad, and Taixisen warned him that he would regret following that path.
  • Muli told Kallen that a one-time teleportation formation was nearly ready, but Kallen decided to stay until everything was prepared and to see Taixisen off.
  • Mobiten Benda arrived, seized and struck Muli, and threatened to disown him and take back the life the Benda Family had given him.
  • Kallen invoked his authority as Muli’s captain and challenged Mobiten, while Muli denied that the matter was a private family affair.
  • Mobiten released Muli, warned Kallen to beware of nightfall, and entered Taixisen’s room to report on the High Priest’s orders; Kallen said Mobiten had caught him in a bad mood.

Ch. 486A dog's faith

Taixisen warned Mobiten to put the Church and its rules before family, then reassured him that Rasma had chosen to disappear. Kallen planned a trial for Vicolai, checked on Gilagon, and spoke with Taufman before finding comfort in Kevin’s steadfast faith.

  • Taixisen told Mobiten that Church members were believers and clerics before they were his descendants, and Mobiten agreed to step down as head of the Benda Family.
  • Taixisen told Mobiten that Rasma’s disappearance had been Rasma’s own choice and that Mobiten need not feel guilty.
  • Kallen ordered his companions to prepare a trial plan for Vicolai, including returning his point vouchers and investigating his conduct.
  • Puer reassured Gilagon that the Order God Church would put him on trial rather than kill him, while Aisili guarded the area.
  • Taufman told Kallen that his actions had saved the island and then departed aboard the Golden Luo.
  • Kallen sat with Kevin beneath the moon and reflected that most people were less steadfast in their faith than a dog.

Ch. 487They are my people!

Kallen and the Observation Delegation witnessed High Priest Norton and the dying Taixisen discuss the Church’s political direction and Fire Island. Taixisen publicly condemned the delegation, but Fudeng defended them, declaring, “They are my people.”

  • High Priest Norton arrived at the Villa with nearly a thousand black-armored knights, while Milis withdrew and Kallen’s team stayed inside to receive him.
  • Mobiten introduced the Observation Delegation to Norton, who recognized them as Fudeng’s people and praised their work on Fire Island.
  • Norton explained to Taixisen how he engineered Taixisen’s defeat at the expanded Round Table Conference, and the two discussed the Church’s future, the Light Remnants, Fire Island, and the Mipos Archipelago.
  • Taixisen asked Vic to bring in Kallen’s team, then threw tea in Fudeng’s face and called for the delegation to be dismissed, interrogated, and exiled.
  • Fudeng refused to retaliate and told Taixisen, “They are my people.”

Ch. 488A funeral for one

Taixisen delivered a final address calling for reform of the Whip of Order and urging the Church to face even the returning gods according to its regulations. After the High Priest promised to lead the Church forward, Taixisen praised the God of Order and died.

  • Taixisen splashed tea on Fudeng and reprimanded him, while Fudeng defended the Observation Delegation to protect his branch and faction.
  • The High Priest pushed Taixisen downstairs and recognized Kallen, who introduced himself as Kallen Silva.
  • Kallen agreed to let Vic join the squad, believing it was also Taixisen's wish.
  • Taixisen spoke to the assembled Church leaders about his life, the need to rebuild the Whip of Order, and the Church's internal disagreements.
  • Taixisen urged Order Followers to hold even gods accountable under the Order Regulations, then praised the God of Order and died.

Ch. 489Order's judgment

After Taixisen died, High Priest Norton ordered the Order God Church to punish the families responsible for the Fire Island violence and demanded that the Abyss Church surrender those behind the attack. Kallen’s team prepared to return to York City while Gilagon was sentenced to serve the Order as a slave beast, and Puer and Kevin noticed that Kallen seemed to be changing.

  • High Priest Norton mourned Taixisen, ordered Fudeng to erase the Delan and Watson Families, and threatened the Abyss Church with war unless it surrendered the people responsible.
  • The Order God Church placed Taixisen’s body in a coffin for transport to Dinge District, while Kallen watched and Vic asked to join his team.
  • Vic approached Philomina and was knocked backward; after Aisili and Blanche reported that Neo and Richard were alive and back in York City, Philomina came out to ask if it was true.
  • Laisanna tried Gilagon and sentenced him to serve as Order’s slave beast for one hundred years, with reductions possible for his service.
  • Puer and Kevin left after Gilagon’s trial, and Puer concluded from Kevin’s reactions that Kallen had changed and was becoming more like a powerful figure of Order.

Ch. 490The grandfathers' story

Kallen and Mavario talked about inheritance, grief, and the paths people chose before parting ways. The story then shifted to Taixisen’s memories of meeting Dis, who visited him and compared their grandsons.

  • Kallen shared Mavario’s crude wine and discussed how he lived with Lord Marchetini’s inheritance and his own sense of identity.
  • Mavario explained that Kallen’s lack of reverence made it easy to talk with him, then spoke about his grief over his grandfather Taixisen’s death.
  • Kallen comforted Mavario and quoted the God of Order before the two sat together in companionable silence.
  • In a memory, Taixisen opposed the Divine Temple interfering in church affairs and ended a meeting about the next High Priest’s power.
  • Dis visited Taixisen, embraced him, and revealed that he had seen Rasma before coming to meet his old friend.
  • Taixisen boasted that Lord Marchetini had chosen his grandson as successor, while Dis quietly said his own grandson was his greatest pride.

Ch. 491The Whip Bearer

Kallen and his squad were assigned to the Whip Bearer Fudeng’s guard detail and flew with him on the Frost Dragon Aoji to a pirate island. Fudeng arranged for allied fleets to destroy the pirates, then encouraged Kallen to do his job well when he returned to York City.

  • Puer told Kallen she missed Mink Street and feared that everything would change before a black raven summoned the Whip of Order squad.
  • Kallen accepted the order assigning his squad to Fudeng’s guard detail and followed him to the cliff, where they discovered the Frost Dragon Aoji.
  • Fudeng took Kallen’s squad aboard Aoji and ordered Kallen to send someone to demand the pirates surrender, then canceled the demand and told Aoji to devour them.
  • Kallen lit Fudeng’s cigar, received a book from him, and guessed that the arriving fleets belonged to the Moon Order God Church and the Reincarnation Church.
  • Fudeng explained that he had arranged for the two churches’ fleets to join forces against the pirates, praised Kallen’s answer about a master’s greatest accomplishment, and told him to do his job well in York City.

Ch. 492Going home

Kallen accompanied Fudeng as the Order God Church used the destruction of two pirate families to pressure the Moon Order God Church and Reincarnation over the Mipos Archipelago incident. After the fleets departed and Fudeng finished his work on Fire Island, Kallen and his group teleported back toward York City.

  • The Moon Order God Church and Reincarnation fleets attacked the Watson and Delan pirate forces, who scattered and were killed or captured.
  • Fudeng met commanders Lango and Latiya aboard Aoji, warned them about the churches’ actions in the Mipos Archipelago, and announced a hearing in the Dinge District one month later.
  • Fudeng ordered bounties for surviving Watson and Delan family members and left Malin to oversee Fire Island before departing through the teleportation formation.
  • Puer returned after freeing the sea beast and giving it methods to cultivate and evolve, then Kallen and the others entered the teleportation formation.
  • Vic reflected on Kallen’s authority and on his teacher’s abandoned investigation into Philomina’s cursed family as the group teleported home.

Ch. 493Promotion

Kallen returned to York City and reunited with his squad, then heard about Neo’s new posting and recounted their recent experiences. Neo revealed that he had become director of the Discipline Inspection Committee and appointed Kallen captain of its Action Regiment, with Vicolai as their first target for investigation.

  • Kallen returned to the York City District Church Administration Building, welcomed Laure and Leon, and sent most of his squad home on leave.
  • Kallen spoke with Philomina and Mr. Eisen before Richard reunited with Philomina and Kallen.
  • Kallen asked Neo about his time in the Mipos Archipelago, and Neo said he had sheltered a woman and her child in one of his apartments.
  • Kallen and Neo exchanged stories about their experiences and joked about Neo’s ambition to rise through Order’s ranks.
  • Neo told Kallen he had been promoted to director and appointed Kallen captain of the Action Regiment under the Discipline Inspection Committee.
  • Kallen asked Neo to investigate Vicolai, the grandson of a York City District bishop, for evidence of his crimes.

Ch. 494Big News

Kallen and Neo settled into their new Discipline Inspection Committee Office, where they planned to build influence by investigating Vicolai Natton. Neo began preparing a case against the Natton family, while Bernie warned that failure could leave them all exposed as sacrifices.

  • Neo explained that the office could inspect clergy for disciplinary violations and named Kallen captain of its action unit.
  • Kallen refused Old Koya's request to transfer his grandniece, and Neo showed him his luxurious office beside Neo's shabby one.
  • Neo explained the office's staffing, expanded authority, and limited direct resources, then asked Kallen to lend Alfred to investigate Vicolai Natton.
  • Neo revealed his files on district bishops and planned to investigate Vicolai, then his father, and finally his grandfather, Bishop Dolford Natton.
  • Bernie warned Neo that their superiors would support them only if their work went smoothly and could otherwise sacrifice Neo, Kallen, and Bernie.

Ch. 495The funeral owed to him

Kallen called his family and learned that Grandpa remained unconscious, then prepared to return to Allen Manor. Neo interrupted him with evidence that Vicolai was connected to a cinema where Spiritual Power and Soul Power were traded, and Kallen proposed making the truth about Mr. Pavaro’s death public so the Church could give him a real funeral.

  • Kallen called Mina and Uncle Mason, who told him Grandpa was still unconscious and admitted he regretted not spending more time with him.
  • Kallen learned that Puer had gone to the Point Vouchers Shop with Vic and prepared to leave for Allen Manor.
  • Neo told Kallen that Alfred had followed Vicolai to a cinema that served as a site for buying and selling Spiritual Power and Soul Power.
  • Neo suspected Vicolai was being strengthened through the practice and planned to investigate the cinema while arranging a test of Vicolai’s combat ability.
  • Kallen insisted that he wanted truthful evidence against Vicolai and proposed naming Mr. Pavaro as the whistleblower, revealing that he had been killed for exposing wrongdoing.
  • Kallen said he had buried Mr. Pavaro without his name on the headstone and that the Church owed him a real funeral.

Ch. 496Gains from going undercover

Kallen prepared to clear Mr. Pavaro’s name and give him a proper funeral, then joined Neo to investigate Vicolai at an underground club. Their membership credentials got them access to the highest-tier area, where they discovered Vicolai had used his real name and was known to the staff.

  • Kallen told Mrs. Lake he intended to clear Mr. Pavaro’s name and arrange a proper funeral, but she said her family was already grateful for his help and did not want him to trouble himself.
  • Kallen collected two temporary masks from Selena and met Philomina before joining Neo, Alfred, and Muli to plan their investigation of Vicolai.
  • Neo sent Alfred and Philomina to arrange an ambush for Vicolai and took Kallen to a cinema to investigate his movements.
  • Neo used his membership cards to get himself and Kallen into a secret club, where the staff assumed they were buyers and offered access to a higher-tier area after they invoked Vicolai’s name.
  • Kallen and Neo found confinement formations and torture racks in a private room, and Neo said Vicolai had little reason to fear investigation because of his family’s influence and Mr. Pavaro’s obscurity.

Ch. 497Come out and see me!

Neo and Kallen investigated a secret establishment that drained souls and Spiritual Power from its victims, then planned a coordinated operation to bring Arbiter Vicolai in for questioning and raid the site. The chapter ended with Neo discovering that Light Power might be transforming his Bloodthirsty Otherworldly Demon bloodline, while he and Kallen joked about being trapped in a well.

  • Neo used his credit at the establishment to order dishes and discussed with Kallen how they could pursue the case and claim expenses.
  • Six attendants brought in a man and a woman whose souls and Spiritual Power were being drained; Neo recognized the man as a prisoner arrested by the Gengdi Squad.
  • Neo and Kallen concluded the establishment had ties to the Whip of Order and discussed how Vicolai might be replenishing his strength there.
  • Neo planned to summon Vicolai to the Church Administration Building the next morning so Kallen could bring him in with Muli and Vic, while Neo led a raid on the establishment with additional squads.
  • Neo fed on the dying man with holy radiance around his fangs, and the man briefly regained consciousness to thank him.
  • Neo realized Light Power might be converting or mutating his Bloodthirsty Otherworldly Demon bloodline, then joked with Kallen about selling Holy Water and being sealed in a well.

Ch. 498Last letter

Kallen and Neo discussed the strange coincidence linking the God of Light and the God of Order, then arranged evidence for Mr. Pavaro’s trial and planned a final letter in his name. After Kallen wrote and aged the letter with Puer’s help, he left at dawn as Puer declared that York City’s Whip of Order had entered a new era.

  • Kallen used a Chain of Order to end a woman’s life after refusing to save her, and he agreed to avenge her.
  • Kallen and Neo left the cinema, agreed to await news from Alfred, and planned to present Mr. Pavaro’s last letter and a burned photograph as evidence.
  • Kallen returned to the Funeral Society, told Vic to meet him for breakfast, and learned that Vic had taken his cat and dog to the Point Vouchers Shop.
  • Kallen reread Mr. Pavaro’s notes and investigation records, then wrote a letter describing his fear and anger at a believer’s boast about his bishop grandfather.
  • Puer used a small flame to age Kallen’s letter, and Kallen left at dawn as Puer proclaimed a new era for York City’s Whip of Order.

Ch. 499An unexpected turn in the arrest

Kallen went to the Church Administration Building to arrest Vicolai, but found Richard badly injured in Chief Bishop Woforen’s office and learned Vicolai had also arrived. The chapter ended with Vicolai being carried into the room as Dorf accused Kallen of threatening him.

  • Kallen told Vic that they were going to arrest Arbiter Vicolai, whose grandfather was Bishop Dorf, and they went to the Church Administration Building.
  • Leon Dilga welcomed Kallen and arranged for reception to alert him when Vicolai arrived, then said Chief Bishop Woforen wanted to see Kallen because Dorf was with him.
  • Kallen entered Woforen’s office and found Dorf, Delong Guman, and Richard, who was covered in serious injuries.
  • Dorf reprimanded Vic for insulting a Bishop, but Vic revealed that his teacher was the former High Priest, Rasma, forcing Dorf to retract his words.
  • Kallen demanded to know who had injured Richard and confronted Dorf, who insisted that Richard had been the aggressor.
  • An attendant announced Vicolai’s arrival, and Vicolai was carried into the office.

Ch. 500What right do you have!

Kallen attended a meeting with Chief Bishop Woforen, Bishop Dorf, and Delong after Richard badly injured Vicolai in a fight. When Dorf demanded that Richard be punished by the Regional Administration Office’s Law Enforcement Department, Kallen challenged his authority and insisted that Richard belonged to the Whip of Order.

  • Kallen saw Vicolai arrive covered in medicinal plasters and laughed at his condition while greeting Woforen, Dorf, and Delong.
  • Richard explained that he had found Vicolai binding and whipping four women with Chains of Order, and that he attacked Vicolai after trying to stop him.
  • Woforen and Delong proposed settling the fight with an apology and compensation, but Dorf rejected the offer and demanded Richard’s expulsion and loss of his Power of Faith.
  • Dorf threatened Delong and called for the Regional Administration Office’s Law Enforcement Department to judge Richard and carry out his punishment.
  • Kallen appeared to support referring Richard for judgment, then told Dorf that the Regional Administration Office’s Law Enforcement Department had no right to convict a member of the Whip of Order.
