Ch. 941The branch gods' final curtain

Tyranus and Order’s branch gods defeated the first wave of chief gods, while many sacrificed themselves and banished their godheads to preserve clean inheritances for the future. As Tyranus prepared for his final moments, he sent Richard back to his body and gave Order’s forces their next orders, leaving the coming stages of the divine war to Kreid, Dis, and the rest.

  • Eternity possessed Tyranus and helped Order’s branch gods defeat the chief gods, while Tyranus explained that Kallen would inherit Order’s complete godhead and become the new God of Order.
  • Alfred recorded Tyranus’s battle as he fought the God of Principles, whom Tyranus killed; Old Hoffen explained that Order had drawn the orthodox churches into the war and said Dis would join the final stage against returning Epoch Overlords.
  • The Blessing Knight sacrificed herself to shield Tyranus, who killed an Insect-type Chief God and sent Richard out of his Divine Kingdom.
  • Richard awoke on the Castle with Philomina confronting him, while Eternity decided to see the new epoch for himself and learned that Richard’s chosen destination was Red Leaf Street.
  • Tyranus appointed Kreid as High Priest, ordered the Order Knights Corps and First Knight Order to prepare for the next battles, and told Alfred to invent the love story he had never had time to live.

Ch. 942The Red Leaf Street meeting

Kreid prepared to become High Priest while Fudeng and Kallen discussed the Church’s future and the reestablishment of the Church of Light. At Red Leaf Street, Kallen and Neo went to meet the mysterious figure who had not yet left, while Alfred struggled to record the gathering.

  • Kreid tried on his High Priest’s robe, then told Fudeng he would appoint Kallen acting High Priest and step aside whenever Kallen wished.
  • Fudeng returned to his headquarters, where Kallen presented the declaration reestablishing the Church of Light, and Fudeng agreed to it without objection.
  • Kallen left with Little Kangna, while Fudeng and Aoji both collapsed in relief after she was gone.
  • Kallen and Neo arrived at Red Leaf Street with Alfred and discussed Neo’s new role as Light Pope and the figure still waiting there.
  • Kallen and Neo went inside to meet the figure, while Alfred hesitated over how to write about the gathering in his notebook.

Ch. 943A new world

Alfred recorded the first meeting of the three Epoch Overlords, while Richard, Kallen, and Neo discussed the coming struggle against returning gods at Anlamyde Mountain. Richard revealed that he could not see the new epoch, leaving the outcome of their conflict unknown.

  • Alfred recorded the Epoch Overlords' meeting without naming its location, then relaxed by writing love stories.
  • Kallen and Neo found Richard at a pastry shop, where Richard investigated the Mills Goddess's power and discussed Neo's relationship to Light.
  • Richard led Kallen and Neo through a washroom door to Anlamyde Mountain, where he recalled meeting Light before Light became a god.
  • Richard explained that the three of them could not fully act before the final battle, and Kallen described the churches' plan to resist returning deities.
  • Richard explained that the Epoch Overlords could return through the historical marks they left behind, and said he could not see the new epoch.

Ch. 944Taking office as High Priest!

Kallen attended Kreid’s inauguration and was appointed Acting High Priest, then delivered a speech calling the Order Church to face the coming catastrophe together. As Kallen’s rise weakened the God of Order’s power and the Order Barriers began collapsing, Richard watched and admitted he felt jealous.

  • Richard, Kallen, and Neo agreed to join forces against the history of the Epoch, and Kallen promised to visit Richard in the Land of Extreme Cold.
  • Kallen reached Church Headquarters and honored Kreid’s authority as High Priest, prompting the former High Priest’s staff and Wukongjia to stand with him.
  • During Kreid’s inauguration, Kreid appointed Kallen Acting High Priest and draped the High Priest’s clerical robes over him.
  • Kallen addressed the gathered churches, warning that many would die in the coming battle and urging them to forge the new epoch themselves.
  • Richard watched Kallen’s appointment weaken the God of Order and trigger the collapse of the Order Barriers, then confessed that he felt jealous.

Ch. 945The First Knight Order

After the Sacred Alliance was established and church conflicts erupted, Kallen decided to send the First Knight Order into battle before the other Knight Orders. He overruled the commanders’ objections with the help of retired officers and prepared to lead them to the First Knight Order to issue Kreid’s Divine Edicts.

  • The Orthodox Order God Churches finalized their alliance, named it the Sacred Alliance, and faced widespread condemnation and clashes with other churches.
  • Kallen and Budalas discussed the coming war, and Kallen chose to deploy the First Knight Order before the other Knight Orders.
  • Kreid gave Kallen three sealed Divine Edicts authorizing him to order the First Knight Order’s Awakening.
  • At the War Court, Daan and the other commanders objected to Kallen’s plan, but Kallen threatened to replace commanders who refused to obey.
  • Liwen, Pilo, and retired officers from the Old Folks’ Club backed Kallen and shamed the commanders into accepting the order.
  • Daan and the commanders swore to obey the High Priest’s Divine Edicts, and Kallen told them to accompany him to the First Knight Order.

Ch. 946Order's terrifying reserves!

Kallen went to the 1st Knight Order’s garrison to deliver the final preparations for its awakening, but his attempt to summon the sleepers triggered a violent response. He discovered that the Pyramid held sleeping deities, including the God of Chaos and the God of War, and the chapter ended as the God of War asked how much longer he had to wait.

  • Kallen led the regiment commanders into the garrison, where the inscription reminded them that the sleeping predecessors had sworn to become Order’s last line of defense.
  • Kallen reached the Pyramid and raised the 1st Knight Order’s battle flag, revealing that he had become a Temple Elder and stirring the sleepers inside.
  • Kallen’s attempt to issue the final divine edict failed when the scroll bearing High Priest Kreid’s image was torn apart and coffins on the Pyramid’s highest level opened.
  • Deity-filled hurricanes swept into the garrison, but Kallen ordered everyone to stand down and recognized that the sleeping deities were summoning their own power.
  • A pitch-black pool covered the Pyramid’s summit, and Kallen saw the Knight of Betrayal-Taoris, the God of Chaos, and the God of War emerge from it.
  • The God of War’s voice entered Kallen’s consciousness and asked how much longer he had to wait.

Ch. 947Curtain up

Kallen stayed at the Pyramid to calm the First Knight Order while the awakened Clerics prepared its sleeping Legion for war. Kreid and Budalas coordinated the Church’s early purge, while Fudeng set out to represent Order at the Church of Light’s founding ceremony.

  • Kallen raised his hand and silenced the agitated sleepers in the Pyramid, then rode Kangna to soothe them while the awakening Clerics began preparations.
  • Zhongtasen urged the Clerics to activate formations and artifacts as coffins descended, battle formations assembled, and preserved weapons and war machines emerged from beneath the ground.
  • Kallen ordered Daan and the other Regiment Commanders back to their posts and said he would remain at the Pyramid until the formal awakening began; he also told Little Kangna she could skip her homework.
  • Kreid approved the War Court’s recommendation to launch the purge early, and Budalas reported that the Knight Orders were ready and allied churches had supplied resources.
  • Fudeng spoke with Budalas about the difficult situation, then told Kreid he would attend the Church of Light’s founding ceremony in Kallen’s place.
  • As Fudeng departed, he told Alfred his health was worsening and that he still had to keep working; Alfred joked that the Lord would tell him to get up and continue.

Ch. 948The terrifying legion awakened!

Fudeng feared that Kallen was the true Lord, while the Order God Church prepared for the Second Stage of the Divine War. Kallen awakened a legion of the 1st Knight Order and watched its returning warriors rapidly form an awe-inspiring combat force, which he said could only be sent against gods.

  • Fudeng realized that his suspicions about Kallen were likely true and asked Weigulin whether he should die first.
  • Byrne received Budalas's order to place Vien District on level-one alert as the first hostilities approached.
  • Kreid let Budalas and Dikno manage the church while Alfred reported that the first battle was about to begin.
  • Kallen and Zhongtasen began the large-scale awakening of the 1st Knight Order through twelve teleportation gates.
  • The awakened clerics remembered their oath, praised the God of Order, and swiftly assembled into disciplined combat formations.
  • Kallen rejected using the legion against other Order God Churches and declared that its opponents could only be gods.

Ch. 949A ruthless offensive

The 1st Knight Order crossed the teleportation gate to confront the gods emerging from the epoch membrane, with Dikno taking command and launching a ruthless offensive. As the legion sacrificed its awakened soldiers to cripple and crush the gods, Kallen asked Little Kangna whether she feared facing the same fate.

  • Serion Damon ordered the 1st Knight Order through the teleportation gate, and Kallen and Little Kangna followed on the Bone Dragon.
  • Dikno revealed his identity to Serion, assumed command, and ordered the legion to attack the newly descended gods before they could regroup.
  • The Flying Knights marked targets while Summoners and Spell Art Practitioners sacrificed themselves to unleash coordinated attacks that wounded and disoriented the gods.
  • Dikno ordered the cavalry to charge continuously as Priests burned themselves to bless them, and polluted knights left formation to decay.
  • Dikno ordered the battle formation to advance and the Formation Masters to activate the Human Formation, turning the Shield Bearers and War Machines into tools for crushing the weakened gods.
  • Kallen asked Little Kangna if she feared making the same sacrifice, and she answered that it was only fair.

Ch. 950Richard's confession

Kallen reflected on his faith as the First Knight Order won a devastating battle, then planned the next stage of the Divine War with Dikno. Meanwhile, Richard teased Philomina about marrying Little Jerry until she stopped outside his house and claimed it was her home.

  • Kallen told Kangna that they had lost the option of turning back, and Kangna insisted they were equals and would face whatever came together.
  • Dikno's First Knight Order destroyed the gods but suffered catastrophic losses, while Daan urged the other Knight Orders not to fall short of their comrades.
  • Kallen praised Dikno and discussed the forces for the second stage of the Divine War, refusing to use the forces reserved for the ultimate battle.
  • Dikno knelt to urge Kallen to preserve a foundation for the Order God Church, but Kallen told him to focus on containing the gods.
  • Alfred brought Kreid the battle report, and Kreid realized the Church's reserves would not be enough and broke down over the cost.
  • Richard asked Philomina whether she would marry Little Jerry, and she stopped the car outside his house and said it was her home.

Ch. 951Neo's Teasing

Richard and Philomina learned that Tang Li had volunteered for conscription alongside Delong, and Tang Li insisted on facing the battlefield with her husband. At the church, Kallen discussed the war effort and Kreid’s plans to join the final batch before receiving a visit from the Light Pope, while Neo teased Kallen about Order’s vulnerability.

  • Richard and Philomina returned to the Guman home, where Philomina demonstrated her assassin skills to Tang Li and learned that Tang Li had applied for conscription.
  • Tang Li told Richard and Philomina that she meant to accompany Delong to the battlefield, and she confronted Delong until he accepted that she would not withdraw her application.
  • Tang Li cooked for Philomina, who admitted she had agreed to be with Richard and joked that Kallen had taught her a comforting line.
  • Kallen met with Kreid, Budalas, Fudeng, and Alfred to discuss the war, conscription, and secret investigations of those evading service; Kreid said he would join the final batch, but Kallen insisted he must live.
  • Budalas reported that the Light Pope had requested an ecclesiastical visit, and Kreid agreed to receive him; afterward, Neo teased Kallen in his carriage about Order being a remnant.

Ch. 952Dis and the God of the Cavern

Kallen visited his family in York City, where Richard told him he could finally help him, while Madam Tang Li and Delong faced her choice to join the coming sacrifice. Dis went to the Cavern as an ancient god emerged, and the five figures from the tombstones burned themselves to bind it as Dis revealed he had raised the god.

  • Andrew reported that Order had repelled an assassination attempt by Light Clerics targeting Kallen or Neo.
  • Byrne told Kallen that Delong had visited him and that Pamireth Church's technical clerics were ready to be sent with the Order Knights Corps.
  • Kallen reunited with his family, caught Dark as his prosthetic leg malfunctioned, and learned Richard was by the river; Richard told him he could finally help him.
  • Dis sensed that the Cavern was shaking again, told Old Hoffen and Rasma that two gods were inside it, and went there despite Rasma's objection.
  • A rotten god emerged from the Cavern, and five figures from the tombstones used Chains of Order and Order Fire to bind it, sacrificing themselves.
  • Dis sat with his book and scythe as the five figures burned, then said that he had raised the god.

Ch. 953Dis became a god!

Dis endured the God of the Cavern’s attacks and used the shattered Godhead Fragments to become a god. As the Divine Temple and Kallen sensed his ascension, Dis bound the God of the Cavern in a Divine War and declared that he accepted the power as an inheritance.

  • The God of the Cavern emerged and attacked Dis, who survived her blows while refusing her offer to become a Cavern Branch God.
  • Dis let the God of the Cavern’s power shatter his Godhead Fragments, then reshaped them into a complete godhead and became a god.
  • The Divine Temple’s bells announced the birth of a new lord of their order-type, while Kallen sensed that his grandfather had become a god.
  • Dis rose through the air as Chains of Order entangled the two Divine Kingdom Domains and prevented the God of the Cavern from escaping.
  • The God of the Cavern called Dis’s choice a sacrifice, and Dis answered that it was an inheritance.

Ch. 954Fall

Kallen went to the Cavern to help the Dragon Clan while Dis fought the God of the Cavern in a Divine War. Dis burned his divine blood to defeat her, then reappeared behind Kallen alive, leaving Kallen and Little Kangna stunned.

  • Kallen arranged a teleport to the Dragon Clan settlement after learning its altar had sent a distress signal, and he brought Little Kangna and Aoji with him.
  • Kallen saw the white-boned bats slaughtering dragons, while Aoji and Little Kangna joined the battle and helped turn it around.
  • Kallen sealed and purified the three bats, then rode Little Kangna toward the clash between Dis and the God of the Cavern.
  • Dis pinned the God of the Cavern and ignited his divine blood, apparently sacrificing himself to defeat her.
  • Kallen searched for Dis after the flames vanished, but Dis appeared behind him alive, prompting Old Hoffen to complain that he had missed Kallen's grief.

Ch. 955Chief God Level

Dis repaired his divine body after becoming a Chief God, and Kallen ordered the Divine Temple to support him before arranging a visit to Eternity. Meanwhile, Richard and Philomina went on a date at Anlamyde Mountain, but eight Temple Elders arrived in Red Leaf Street looking for Richard and found him emerging from the Pastry Shop.

  • Dis explained that his divine body was repairing itself by drawing matter from the Cavern World, and Old Hoffen judged that he had become or nearly become a Chief God.
  • Dis asked Kallen to take him to the Land of Extreme Cold to meet Eternity, while Kallen ordered Wukongjia to mobilize resources, seal off the Cavern World, and fetch Richard Guman.
  • Richard took Philomina through the Pastry Shop's washroom door to Anlamyde Mountain, where Eternity watched them and questioned his choice of inheritance heir.
  • Eight Temple Elders descended on Red Leaf Street to find Richard, mistook him for Young Master Eisen, and then heard Richard identify himself as Richard Guman.

Ch. 956A temptation hard to refuse

Kallen visited the observation station, acknowledged Dingneson as his godfather, and recruited Richard as his secretary after destroying ancient demon gods that had followed him from Anlamyde Mountain. He then brought Dis to Eternity, who refused to become his teacher but offered to share his knowledge as a friend, companion, and brother.

  • Kallen arrived at the Land of Extreme Cold observation station, called Dingneson his godfather, and learned that Dingneson wanted to remain with his buried companions.
  • Richard and Philomina arrived, and Kallen destroyed the ancient demon gods that had followed Richard from Anlamyde Mountain before ordering him to work as his secretary.
  • Kallen left with Little Kangna and brought Richard and Philomina to Eternity’s palace, where Kangna explored the hall and damaged its pillars.
  • Kallen presented Dis’s doppelganger and asked Eternity to teach him, but Dis declared he could hold back every Epoch Overlord if he had enough time.
  • Eternity refused to be Dis’s teacher but offered to share his memories and experiences as a friend, companion, and brother.

Ch. 957An upheaval in Heaven

Kallen spoke with Eternity about the changing epochs and the coming conflict with Order, then returned to the Order God Church as its Divine Wars continued. The chapter ended when Puer’s expedition to Heaven was presumed lost and she began dissolving her Symbiosis Contract with Kallen.

  • Kallen let Little Kangna gnaw on the Eternal Divine Temple’s Small Worlds while he spoke with Eternity, who revealed that Dis had nearly taken control of his phantom and asked Kallen to protect Richard and prepare for their return.
  • Eternity asked Kallen to preserve his spear for the coming Divine War, and Kallen left the temple carrying the Spear of Eternity, Little Kangna, and the unconscious Philomina.
  • Over the next six months, the Order God Church completed six Divine Wars, and Kallen signed Dikno’s plan to send Pilo, Liwen, and his maternal grandparents into the battlefield of sacrifice.
  • Leon told Kallen that every life tablet left by Puer’s expedition had shattered, and Kallen saw Recar and Dikalost’s coffins break apart in his Soul World.
  • Kallen felt his contract rune twisting and dissolving, and Little Kangna said Puer was actively dissolving their Symbiosis Contract.

Ch. 958Destination!

Puer, Dikalost, and Raniedal led the dwindling expedition through the polluted mire toward Heaven, while the clerics and their companions sacrificed themselves to carry them forward. Raniedal lost his godhood protecting Puer, and she woke at the foot of Heaven's gate, uncertain whether they had arrived or died.

  • Dikalost explained that the mire had changed within the past year as deities fell, and Puer chose to lead the expedition onward despite the pollution and danger.
  • When Raniedal could no longer protect the whole team, Puer ordered the clerics to sacrifice themselves, and Earl Recar used their strength to summon a phantom pirate ship before he died.
  • Puer began burning herself to extend the ship's journey, but Dikalost revealed her Symbiosis Contract could serve as a resonance with Heaven, and Raniedal stopped her sacrifice and dissolved the contract enough to protect Kallen.
  • Dikalost gave Raniedal his eyes to guide the ship, summoned angelic trackers, and died after asking him to tell Kallen that he had brought them there for his dear son.
  • Raniedal used the Power of Time to carry the unconscious Puer onward, fell from godhood, and turned back into Kevin as Puer became a cat.
  • Kevin collapsed at the bottom step before Heaven's gate, and Puer woke and asked whether they had reached Heaven or died.

Ch. 959The Last Supper

Kallen inspected the elderly Order clerics preparing to sacrifice themselves in the Divine War, then joined his family for a final dinner before Delong and Tang Li left for the battlefield. The chapter ended with Delong discovering that the Lord was his grandfather.

  • Puer recovered enough to comfort Kevin at the Gate of Heaven, which appeared to her as the Allen ancestral cemetery, while she mourned the expedition members who had died under her command.
  • Kallen reassured Little Kangna that Puer was alive, then visited the elderly volunteers in Dinge District and praised the God of Order before their departure for the battlefield.
  • Kallen returned to the Guman Family villa, where he and his relatives shared a strained final dinner with Delong and Tang Li before the couple left for the assembly point.
  • Delong and Tang Li received a message from Dis, and Kallen sent them to the assembly point in his carriage.
  • Tang Li reacted excitedly when Muli said Kallen would lead the Order God Church to victory, then whispered something to Delong that left him stunned and exclaiming that the Lord was his grandfather.

Ch. 960The collapse of the old epoch

Tang Li, Delong, and the other elderly clerics assembled for a Divine War against the returning gods, while Kallen arrived to inspect their legion. The gods appeared ahead of schedule from every direction, forcing Dikno to order an emergency defense as Kallen demanded to know what was happening.

  • Tang Li and Delong said farewell to their family before joining the elderly legion, and Tang Li met Lisanmir as they advanced toward the assembly point.
  • Tang Li delivered Muli’s message to Mobiten, while Delong reported to Pilo before the reorganized legion set out for Saniros Space.
  • Xierma and Daan argued over their parents’ service and the coming battle, while Kreid avoided the Divine War and Kallen prepared to inspect the legion.
  • Kallen flew over the elderly legion on the Bone Dragon as the soldiers looked up at their High Priest.
  • The firmament shattered in multiple directions, and Dikno ordered the legion and the Knight Orders to prepare for battle as the gods returned together.
