Destined
The Sinful Dragon is imprisoned here... The Fifth-Generation Celestial Master... Lumian recalled what he had seen during the Mysticism Ritual and vaguely understood something.
He didn't stop there; he walked Past the weathered Stone Stele and into the tall wooden Tower.
There were no Gas Wall Lamp or lit Candle inside the Tower; the only light came from the Sunlight that barely penetrated the thin paper windows.
This did not prevent Lumian from looking around. He felt that the First Layer of the Tower was unusually spacious, with towering and intersecting beams and pillars all around, and stone steps leading to the Underground Area in the middle.
Lumian walked familiarly toward the stairwell, which seemed to be shrouded in shadow.
After taking a few steps forward, he suddenly raised his head and looked to the side. In the unusually dim light, a young man dressed in black was lying quietly on a wooden beam.
The man had a thin face, a wide forehead, and generally good features. His black Eyes were bright and piercing, and his figure seemed to blend into the darkness.
Because Lumian was looking up, their eyes met, and the Hood lost its ability to conceal their gazes.
The man immediately muttered something Lumian couldn't understand, and with a look of disgust, he scurried up several floors and quickly disappeared.
Another Outsider? He actually managed to bypass the "Monks '" protection and sneak into this eerie Wooden Tower? Although he didn't use his Beyond Ability just now, he's quite capable... Lumian, who possesses "Darkvision," was unaffected by the dimness above and used his eyes to track the man's whereabouts, but he couldn't find him no matter what he did.
Lumian, vaguely sensing that the other person was still observing him, tilted his head back and laughed, a very bright laugh.
"Fascination!"
Fascination works on all creatures present!
With a thud, the young man fell out of nowhere and landed on a beam.
He cursed and swam upwards as fast as a gecko, completely detaching himself from the lower levels of the wooden Tower, as if he were avoiding snakes and scorpions.
Lumian couldn't understand what he was cursing, but it sounded very similar to the words he had been cursed at inside the Telegraph Office:
Damn it!
After confirming that the young man was no longer watching him, Lumian descended the gray stone steps and disappeared into the shadowy stairwell.
After an unknown amount of time, he finally reached the bottom of the wooden Tower and saw the ancient well hidden in the darkness, the moss-covered Stone Blocks, and the Iron Chain extending from the Stone Blocks into the Depths of the Ancient Well.
These Iron Chain are covered with numerous reliefs, each depicting a face, every one of them exceptionally ferocious, grotesque, and Evil Ghost.
"It's quite similar to Chen Tu's armor... Did ' Underworld Daoist ' also participate in the matter of locking the Sinful Dragon? Or was it His Teacher, or the Teacher's Teacher?" Lumian already knew that "Celestial Master" corresponded to the two Pathway "Mystery Pryer" and "Generalist," and these Iron-Black chains did not seem to be His work.
Lumian poked his head out and looked down, where he saw a surface of water at the bottom of the Ancient Well that looked as if it were formed from the blood of thousands of people.
It was rich, eerie, and emitted a strong fishy and rusty smell.
Lumian instinctively raised his right hand and touched the tip of his nose, finding that he was not bleeding as he had during the last Mysticism, and his condition could even be described as good.
"Is this because I have accepted the Gift of the Calamity and gained the power of the ' War Bishop,' essentially becoming one of our own?" Lumian nodded thoughtfully, gazing at the thick pool of blood that didn't reflect his head and face, and said in Ancient Hermetic, "Power at the pinnacle of Calamity, supreme and great being, you, my humble Attendant, would like to ask you, where can I obtain the Beyonder Characteristic that will help me ascend?"
Lumian has never cared about his reputation, so saying these things comes naturally to him.
However, he was unsure whether the so-called "Sinful Dragon" locked Depths in the Ancient Well could understand his words.
To make it easier for the other party to understand, he didn't even use terms like "Weather Warlock," Sequence 2, or Mythical Creature.
People from the Western Continent probably have never seen the Blasphemy Slate!
After a brief, indescribable silence, a scene was reflected on the Blood-Colored water.
It was a rotting, pus-filled arm covered in tattered armor, propped up on the ground, taller than a broken Stone Pillars. From the crack, pus mixed with invisible Flames continuously dripped onto the ground, igniting the earth, igniting the air, and causing everything around to Burning fiercely and endlessly.
Lumian abruptly took two steps back, unable to look directly at him.
The Residual Aura of the "Blood Emperor" boiling in his palm told him that the scene he had just witnessed corresponded to the corpse of Alista Tudor, lying Depths of Fourth Epoch Trier.
Is there a "Weather Warlock" Beyonder Characteristic there? Lumian nodded slightly, returned to the Ancient Well, and looked at the thick blood.
On the surface of the blood, the scene had Change; darkness filled the area, and within it seemed a tall figure was silently watching Lumian.
Lumian made his judgment based on his spiritual intuition:
That's the "Blood Emperor" hidden in the mirror within the treasure vault of the "Blue Avenger"!
I want to obtain the "Weather Warlock" Beyonder Characteristic, but is it impossible to do so without Alista Tudor? Can't I get it from the "Iron and Blood Cross Order" leader? Just as Lumian frowned, a tremendous suction force suddenly emanated from the bottom of the blood-soaked Depths of the Ancient Well well.
Lumian was unable to resist for a moment. This was both an instinctive urge to Aggregation with his Beyonder Characteristic and a result of the Gift he possessed and his current state of being purely spiritual or purely conscious.
He was pulled down into the well, plummeting into its Depths.
In the blink of an eye, as Lumian attempted to activate the Black Mark on his right shoulder and "Teleportation" away, his body touched the surface of the water formed by the thick blood.
He passed Past without causing the slightest ripple, like a high-ranking Witch stepping into Mirror World.
Lumian suddenly had a flash of insight:
The water's surface is also a mirror...
I didn't enter the place where the Sinful Dragon was imprisoned, but rather the corresponding Mirror World...
His vision went dark, then turned red, and he was completely immersed in blood.
The stench of fish and rust, along with the viscous liquid, filled his nostrils, trying to fill his lungs and body.
Lumian felt no pain, but rather a great sense of comfort, as if he had returned to his Source, to the Homeland he had always longed for.
This Blood-Colored Ocean seemed to have no surface; no matter how much Lumian tried to rise, he couldn't escape it and couldn't breathe fresh air.
He watched as Corpse floated Past him, some headless, others with only their heads remaining, dragging long, white, tail-like Spine —thousands upon thousands, too numerous to count.
Lumian followed the Corpse as they swam, trying to see where they would drift to.
And so, he and the Corpse drifted forward for a long time, following the direction of the Blood-Colored current.
The number of headless bodies and Spine heads ahead increased, gradually creating a congested situation.
It's like there should be an exit nearby, but too many Corpse are flooding in and blocking it.
Lumian chose to bypass the congestion and approach the "finish line" from the side.
Although this wouldn't allow him to squeeze in, he just wanted to see what was going on ahead.
After swimming for a while, Lumian finally saw his destination.
It was a dark, murky water eye, blocked by thousands of Corpse, with a continuous stream of "fish" surging in from behind.
The Corpse stuck in the water hole were all swollen, with patches of bluish-black rot on their bodies.
Lumian immediately thought of That One Lady who rode in a rickshaw and covered her face with a flower-patterned fan.
Did she escape from here? Or is she the master of these Corpse? Lumian shook his head, not believing he had any chance of squeezing into the water eye.
There were just too many Corpse blocking the way, and he didn't know what would Change if he set them on fire.
That would most likely make the situation worse!
Just then, the blocked water outlet trembled violently, as if someone was trying to break through Tunnel from the other end.
Whoosh!
The large number of Corpse that had been blocking the water inlet were suddenly "swallowed" in, finally giving those behind a chance to get closer.
This also caused some of the dark, lusterless water to ripple.
Lumian was affected and pushed far away, the Blood-Colored before his eyes rapidly blurring and becoming illusory.
In the illusion, he saw a huge, coiled black shadow.
The dark figure lay at the bottom of the Blood-Colored Ocean, completely occupying an area comparable in size to Trier.
Lumian was drawn Past and landed, but he couldn't really get close enough to see the dark figure clearly.
One is in the mirror, the other is in reality.
In front of the dark figure was a Square tens of kilometers long and wide, paved with Gray-White stones. On the Square stood giant pillars, some Pitch-Black, some blood red, and Gray-White, which formed an invisible Barrier, preventing the Blood-Colored seawater from seeping in.
Lumian landed in the Square, and standing in front of him was a Full-Length Mirror.
The Full-Length Mirror was made of pure silver mixed with other metals, with intricate patterns around it and a very classic design.
Upon seeing the Mirror, Lumian's spirits tightened instantly.
Isn't this the Mirror from the "Blue Avenger" vault?
Hidden within the mirror is the side of Ari and Toussaint!
Why is there one side here too?
Or perhaps, the side inside the "Blue Avenger" vault leads to this side?
Are they among the results of Alista Tudor's various insane experiments, the "Blood Emperor"?
Lumian instinctively tried to move away from the Silver Full-Length Mirror to avoid seeing his reflection, but the Mirror already showed a person hidden in it.
The man wore black armor stained with blood, and his long hair shimmered with a faint blood-red light. His face was sculpted as if by a knife and axe, and his lips were tightly pressed together, exuding a resolute and unyielding temperament. His azure eyes were filled with cruelty and madness.
The next second, the person in the mirror extended their right hand, clad in armor and Gloves, out from the cold, hard mirror surface.
He stepped out of the Full-Length Mirror, seemingly completely unconcerned that Lumian might launch a surprise attack.
