Lumian stood at the intersection, hands in his pockets, and strolled leisurely toward the City Wall Street.

This street is more famous than the Boulevard in the minds of many Trier residents; it is their dream destination.

Before Emperor Roselle initiated the Industrial Revolution, the city of Trier was far less large than it is today. This area was located at the easternmost point, with sturdy City Wall and soldiers guarding City Wall. The soldiers' Military Camp were not far from here, and as a result, many prostitutes and brothels sprang up around them.

As time went by, as the City Wall Street got its name, and as Trier's population expanded, the small "market" of yesteryear transformed into one of the most renowned and vibrant places in the Southern and Northern Continent.

Lumian walked under the Intis Plane Trees and saw both magnificent, Palace -like buildings and rather ordinary Apartment in front of him. What they had in common was that their windows were either entirely or partially fitted with frosted glass and green blinds.

The City Wall Street seemed not to have fully woken up in the afternoon. There weren't many pedestrians on the road, but they were all unique. Some were wearing gray-blue Worker Uniform and walking in a hurry. Some were dressed in old formal attire, looking around before entering an Apartment. Some carried cameras, taking pictures here and there, and eventually disappeared quietly in front of the ornately decorated buildings. Some tried their best to act like Intis people, but inevitably their true identities were revealed by details such as their hairlines and exaggerated height.

Even more strikingly, Lumian saw a two-meter-tall, Iron Gray Machine with vents on its back that continuously spewed out White Fog. Its body surface was also exposed with more decorative Gears, springs, screws, and curved pipes.

A man sat on the Machine's left shoulder. He was dressed in fine clothes and had exquisite makeup. He leisurely looked down at the people coming and going, including those who wore gold or silver masks and did not want to reveal their status, as well as the man who had just woken up and was walking unsteadily away.

On this street, ordinary citizens and members of high society are strangely Fusion, presenting a bizarre harmony.

Lumian walked forward, glancing left and right as he searched for his destination.

In a flash, he spotted Albus coming from the side alley.

The "Iron and Blood Cross Order" member with darker reddish hair also noticed Lumian, smiled slightly, raised his right hand, and pointed to his head, as if making some kind of Provocation.

Lumian knew he was acting on Gardner Martin's orders to help find the Parish Priest Guillaume, Guillaume Béné, and suspected the man had just suggested a race to see who could find their "prey" first.

Besides Albus, the Iron and Blood Cross Order should have had quite a few members, both official and peripheral, present. Gardner Martin has so far performed reasonably well in keeping his promises.

Lumian ignored Albus and continued walking Depths into the City Wall Street.

According to the newly released results of the "Magic Mirror Divination" by the "Pleasure Witch," Franca, the scope of the previous Prophecy has been narrowed:

Guillaume Béné is highly likely to appear in the area, including five streets such as City Wall Street and White Horse Street, this week.

Of course, given the length, area, and population density of the City Wall Street, and the prosperity of the surrounding neighborhoods, this result is still very rough. It is almost impossible to catch the prey by conducting a carpet search and casting a wide net, unless official assistance can be obtained, such as directly deploying troops to seal off this area and guard all the Underground Trier Entrance.

For a while, Lumian could only hope that the "Iron and Blood Cross Order," Concealment organization that gathered a large number of powerful "Hunter," had better methods for tracking and capturing them, or that he, possessing the Fate Angel Termiboros, had some kind of Aggregation ability. As long as the distance between him and Guillaume Béné wasn't too extreme, they could be drawn to each other and "reunite" in a Predestination way.

But now, he has a new lead.

This mainly comes from the Mysticism knowledge inherent in the "Contracted One"!

That knowledge contains a vast array of bizarre creatures that can be summoned or captured, as well as the costs of making Contract with them, the abilities gained, and the negative consequences that follow.

Combining his memories and the partial Contract Ability displayed Béné the Parish Priest Guillaume Benedict in his Dream, Lumian compiled a document:

"Summon Abyss Demon Flowers requires a large amount of fresh human blood as Sacrifice, and the negative effect is an increased desire for intercourse;

"' Invisibility ' requires preparing meat for thirteen people, but the downside is that it makes you more prone to hunger."

"' Slow Flight,' sacrificing one's inability to ever fall in love with Sacrifice, has the negative consequence of an impulse to show off;

"The ' Bone Curse ' requires the sacrifice of a living person, and its negative effect is excessive sleepiness."

"The ' Soul-Seizing Secret Art ' comes at the cost of no fewer than three human souls, and the negative effect is four to five episodes of unpredictable dizziness each day."

"' Implosion ' requires sacrificing any Beyonder Characteristic. The negative effect is that spirituality is continuously drained, which is equivalent to permanently lowering the spirituality cap."

From the detailed description of the "Soul-Seizing Secret Art," Lumian also suspected that the Parish Priest had unconsciously and covertly paid another price.

That's his name!

The "Soul-Seizing Secret Art" works by calling out the target's real name to influence their Spirit Body, causing them to experience dizziness or other reactions. The more you know the target and the closer the language used is to the Spirit World, the better the effect.

When Guillaume Béné signs Contract with the Spirit World Creature that lends him the "Soul-Seizing Secret Art," he will inevitably reveal his real name. For the strange creature with that ability, knowing a person's real name might allow it to do many things.

This is a potentially major hidden danger.

There are many similar Concealment problems within the Mysticism knowledge inherent in those Contracted One, so Lumian ultimately chose to personally select a large number of Spirit World Creature, contacting and trying them one by one.

Based on the known negative effects of those Contract Ability, Lumian made some speculations:

Guillaume Béné was a man with strong desires. With his increased lust for intercourse, he would inevitably seek out women. This is consistent with the Prophecy that he would appear in the Red Princess District and the results of the Magic Mirror Divination that he might be in the five nearby streets.

He gets hungry more easily than before, and doing that kind of thing is also very physically demanding, so he will most likely choose a brothel that can provide meals or take the girls home.

Furthermore, Guillaume Béné was a very ambitious and power-hungry man who was suppressed in the mountain village. Before his Contract Ability had a negative impact, his lust was more of an act of demonstrating power. Otherwise, it would be difficult to explain why he wanted to steal any woman, and why his mistresses varied so much in quality.

For him, stealing women from other Men was a manifestation of his status, power, and Charm.

Such a person, upon arriving in Trier and facing discrimination from the locals for speaking with a provincial accent, will inevitably find his own way to vent and prove himself.

Considering factors such as "enhanced desire," "appearance in the Red Princess District," and his past style, Guillaume Béné is likely to seek out well-known Courtesan to arouse the envy of local citizens who desire but cannot obtain them, and might even take one or two of them away to keep at home.

The above analysis of the Parish Priest's Personality traits and psychological state was not done by Lumian himself, but by Anthony Reid, the "Psychiatrist," who sketched a psychological profile of this Evil God follower from Lumian's detailed description of Guillaume Béné.

Therefore, there are currently two directions for hunting prey: one is to stake out the high-end brothels that have famous Courtesan and provide meals, and the other is to inquire about which Courtesan have gotten married, become someone's mistress, or even disappeared in the past two months.

The former is handled by the "Iron and Blood Cross Order," and what Lumian needs to do now is find well-informed people who can provide information on the various scandals in the City Wall Street.

Anthony Reid, the Information Broker, knew something about this; he knew that Buller, a columnist for Grimace magazine, was a regular on City Wall Street, known for telling gossip and rumors about the area.

Before going to the brothel, Buller preferred to drink and write in a corner of the "Hope Café" where he could see the door.

With a clear purpose in mind, Lumian Past at a leisurely pace toward the Café located in the middle of the City Wall Street.

During the journey, he went through the whole incident and felt inexplicably moved:

He was clearly inferior to Franca in Divination, possessing only a "Prophecy" that he dared not use lightly. He was also not as good as Anthony Reid in drawing psychological profiles of targets and gathering various intelligence. However, he was able to find these two helpers and leverage their strengths, which was equivalent to acquiring these abilities.

Lu Mian wasn't sure what would happen after acquiring Divinity, but he was certain of one thing: below Sequence 4, an individual's power was limited, and a team that complemented each other could achieve a "1+1 greater than 2" effect, making them fully capable of challenging High-Sequence beings who did not involve Divinity.

Not long after, Lumian saw the "Hope Café," whose window frames and doors were painted milky white.

After pushing open the rather heavy door, he immediately turned his gaze to the corner from which this place could be seen.

A man in his thirties with a thin face, black hair, blue eyes, and a neatly trimmed beard with waxed tips was also looking towards the doorway.

Noticing Lumian scanning their area, the man's expression changed. He was about to pick up the softcover notebook and Red Blotting Pen from the table and turn to go through the back door beside him.

Lumian drew his Revolver and fired a shot into the back door of "Hope Café".

With a bang, the bullet became embedded in the Wooden Planks.

The customers in the Café were all startled at the same time; some hid, some turned away, and chaos ensued.

The man with the waxed beard froze on the spot, unsure whether to run or stay.

Amidst the fearful gazes of the Bartender, Waiter, and guests, Lumian Revolver in Pistol, walked unhurriedly to his target and asked with a smile, "Are you Mr. Buller?"

"Yes, it's me." Buller forced a smile.

Lumian gestured to where Buller had been sitting and said casually, "Sit down. I'm here to buy information."

Buller breathed a slight sigh of relief, turned Past with a slightly hunched posture, and sat down.

Lumian pulled up a chair, sat down opposite him, put down his Revolver, and asked with amusement, "Why do you like sitting in such a poorly lit spot?"

Buller sighed and said, "In my line of work, there's always the worry of retaliation. You know, some people don't like their names or images appearing in newspapers and magazines, or being associated with scandals."

"Sitting here, I can easily observe the entrance and spot anyone who might be looking to cause me trouble, and I can also quickly escape through the back door."
