Within ten seconds, both Beyonder who were fighting noticed someone watching them and instinctively distanced themselves from each other, turning their gazes toward Lumian.
Lumian, leaning against the alley wall, chuckled and said, "Go ahead and fight, don't worry about me."
Holding a heavy Dagger, the young native, with his left palm slightly open, stared at Lumian, who had black hair, green eyes, striking looks, and wore Golden-yellow Straw Hat, his eyes filled with wariness.
Who is this?
What does he want to do?
The short-haired man wielding two oddly shaped Surgery Knife was equally wary.
He glanced at Lumian, then at the young native, before suddenly lowering his body and letting his arms hang down.
Thick black smoke with a strong Sulfur smell instantly filled the air around him, completely engulfing his figure.
Lumian's smile remained unchanged, and he slightly raised his right eyebrow.
Seeing this, the young native ignored Lumian's reaction and pushed his slightly open left hand forward. The shadow hovering in his palm suddenly expanded, transforming into a Distortion "dark cloud."
The "dark cloud" blended into the area filled with the strong smell of Sulfur, and in the blink of an eye, it absorbed the thick black smoke, making the alley clear again and allowing the Crimson Moon in the sky to illuminate the place once more.
But the man with short black hair, dark green Eyes, and an expressionless face had vanished without a trace.
They ran away? The young native was shocked, angry, and annoyed.
As he searched for Spider Silk, he subconsciously turned his head to look at the spot where Lumian had just stood.
The walls there were empty; there wasn't a soul in sight.
When did he leave? How come I didn't notice at all? The young native, holding the heavy Dagger, was filled with doubt and uncertainty, unsure whether to continue pursuing his target.
Having successfully escaped the alley using his magic-like abilities, Bram put away the two alien Surgery Knife and walked along dark, unlit roads, constantly changing direction in an attempt to shake off his imagined pursuers.
During this process, he also broke into a shoemaker's shop on the street, changed into a pair of slightly ill-fitting leather shoes, and covered up the traces of a burglary.
After circling around three times, Bram returned to the alley where the battle had taken place and entered a house in a nearby neighborhood.
This is a simple Apartment built from dark stones and brown trees.
Bram opened his own room with the Library, went inside, and closed the Wooden Door behind him.
Only then did he breathe a sigh of relief.
Then, he took out a transparent Glass Bottle from the Gray-White cloth bag hanging from his waist. The bottle contained a nearly colorless liquid tinged with dark red. In the liquid was a pair of plump lips with traces of Blood-Colored, slightly parted, as if frozen with intense Pain and terror.
Bram gazed at the Glass Bottle in his hand with a rapt attention, as if admiring a work of art.
After a while, he looked away, walked to the side of the room, and opened the cabinet that stood there.
Inside the cabinet were seven or eight similar Glass Bottle, Glass Bottle containing a pair of lips, their colors dull and their lines varied, some slightly upturned, others pouting.
Bram placed his newly acquired Spoils of War in an empty space and drew a Evil symbol on it with thick, Blood-Colored Paint.
After finishing this task, he ran his fingers over each of the Glass Bottle, rubbing them against their different lips, just as he would appreciate each outstanding work of art at an exhibition.
"That's really perverted."
Suddenly, a sarcastic sigh echoed in Bram's ears.
He abruptly turned to the side, looking towards the direction from which the sound came, and discovered that a young man with Golden-yellow Straw Hat, was sitting in the chair next to the table, with the top two buttons of his White Shirt undone.
he?
Bram's pupils dilated rapidly as he recognized the man who had suddenly appeared in his room:
The person who just witnessed my fight with that "Spiritualist Order" member!
When did he arrive?
How did he track my movements without my knowledge...?
Lumian smiled and kindly answered the other person's questions:
"Didn't anyone tell you that the preservative in that Glass Bottle really had a strong smell?"
"Furthermore, you even smelled of blood when you killed him."
Bram's heart tightened:
"Are you a ' Hunter '?"
As he spoke, he moved his feet slowly and quietly.
"You know quite a bit." Lumian remained seated. "Then why did you cut off your lips, soak them in preservatives, and carry them with you? That's not the mark of a qualified ' Serial Killer.' I see, you have a desire and need to collect Spoils of War. It's both to satisfy yourself and as material for some Ritual? Heh, desire is harmful. A ' Cold-Blooded is just calm and ruthless, but they will still calmly make mistakes, gambling that their less-than-perfect details won't be caught."
When Lumian saw the black smoke with Sulfur Scent produced by this deranged killer, he roughly knew that he was Sequence 7 "Serial Killer" in the "Criminal" Pathway.
The book "Demonology" in New Silver City mentions that after the "Criminal" Pathway reaches Sequence 8 "Cold-Blooded," also known as "Fallen Angel," the body will develop some inhuman traits and gain two or three magical abilities in the Demon realm. This varies from person to person, and different people will have different gains. Some will have poison fire, some will have "hurting people with harsh words," and "creating black smoke" is one of them.
Based on the target's performance in combat, Lumian basically determined that he was only Sequence 7, merely a "Serial Killer."
Bram's brow twitched at Lumian's mockery and sarcasm.
He remained calm, moving slowly as he spoke in a low voice, "Did you just want to chat with me?"
What exactly do you want from me?
No sooner had he finished speaking than thick black smoke, emanating a strong Sulfur Scent, filled the area around the "Serial Killer."
Under the cover of the thick black smoke, Bram's Eyes darkened as he unleashed another of his Demon domain-like magical abilities.
His body changed color like a chameleon, becoming almost identical to the spreading smoke.
Then, he moved quickly and silently to the door, opened it, and rushed out.
Bram's vision blurred, and he saw the still-spreading black smoke and the Green-Eyed Man sitting in the armchair, smiling at him.
He went back into the room.
Compared to his previous state, there was only one difference: he was no longer facing the door, but had his back to it.
"The Fictional Bottle"!
After Lumian sneaked into the room, the first thing he did was not to strike a pose, but to construct a "Fictional Bottle" through which Beyonder could not pass!
Unaffected by the sudden surge of frustration and annoyance, Bram dove to the side amidst the thick, obscuring black smoke, rolled to the edge of the bed, and pulled a six-barreled machine gun from the bottom.
He raised the machine gun, aimed at Lumian, and pulled the trigger.
Amidst the clattering of bullets, Lumian's figure vanished from the armchair, where the furniture was torn apart by the Storm of metal bullets.
Gone? The thought had barely crossed Bram's mind when he instinctively looked up and saw a man wearing Golden-yellow Straw Hat descending from the ceiling towards him, surrounded by a large swarm of Reddish White Flames Crow.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! One after another, the Fire Raven swooped down on Bram before Lumian could reach them.
Bram didn't have time to escape the encirclement, so he could only throw away the six-barreled machine gun and try to curl up and roll under the bed to avoid the explosion.
But the Reddish White Fire Raven vanished on their own. Lumian landed on her feet in front of him, putting on Gray-White Lightning bolt-shaped Brooch as she smiled and said, "Didn't you just ask me what I wanted to do?"
What I want to do is very simple:
"I haven't vented in so long, I desperately need a human punching bag."
As soon as he finished speaking, Lumian threw a punch at Bram, who was cowering down.
Bram instinctively raised his right arm to block.
With a loud bang, a Silver-White bolt of lightning shot from Lumian's fist into Bram's arm, spreading throughout his body.
Bram shuddered, experiencing a brief moment of Paralysis despite his dehumanized physical transformation.
Lumian followed up with another punch, which landed squarely on Bram's cheek.
Bang!
The Serial Killer's head was knocked askew, several Teeth flying out, mixed with blood.
A burst of silvery lightning erupted once more, tracing the path of Bram's head.
Bang bang bang! Lumian unleashed a barrage of punches from both sides, leaving Bram feeling as if he were caught in Thunderstorm. Bram couldn't even manage to parry, let alone retaliate, as the electric shocks made it difficult for him to defend himself.
Bang bang bang!
Lumian's expression was cold as he punched Bram repeatedly in the face, chest, arms, and head, leaving the "Criminal" Pathway Beyonder a caved-in chest, broken ribs, a swollen face, a fractured Skull, and charred upper body.
After giving the Library a good beating, Lumian clenched his fists and raised his arms.
He slammed into Bram's left shoulder.
Bang!
Bram's left shoulder completely collapsed.
He collapsed to the ground, barely recognizable as a human, his breath extremely weak.
"Is that not enough? It's alright, I can have my servant treat you, and then we can continue." Lumian smiled and stopped.
In Bram's eyes, it was the classic Demon's laugh.
Before Bram could respond in fear, Lumian removed the "Sea’s Wrath" Brooch, placed it back into the "Traveler’s Bag," and asked in a very gentle tone, "Tell me, which family are you from?"
Bram's body had begun to dehumanize him, and he was physically strong. In addition, Lumian did not attack his vital points and even deliberately avoided them. At this time, he was not close to unconsciousness and could still think to some extent.
Many thoughts flashed through his mind, but the image that finally settled on was Lumian's smile from just now.
After a brief silence, Bram weakly replied, "I am a member of the Andrealphus Family."
