Laying out the conspiracy
"A sufficient distance plus a ' Hypnotist '..." Hisoka repeated Lumian's words, as if he had thought of something.
Lumian stood before him, looking down at him, and explained in a questioning tone, "Do you think that, apart from ' Demon Hunter ' and Beyonder of High-Sequence through corresponding Pathway, killing a Demon mainly relies on encounters?"
Hisoka looked at Lumian indifferently, without answering.
Lumian pulled up a chair, sat down, put his right leg on his left knee, and said in a casual tone, "I've read a book about the Mysticism of Demon, which contains many cases of Demon hunting."
"It's clear that for most Pathway Beyonder, killing a specific Demon really requires encounters. I thought so too at the time, until later, when I recalled the detailed description of the ' Demon ' abilities, I discovered a contradiction."
That Mysticism book describes your Danger Premonition as follows:
"Danger Prediction, also known as Malice Perception, means that if an enemy can cause fatal harm to Demon in a very short period of time and take concrete action, the Demon can sense it in advance and grasp where and from whom the danger comes, thus enabling it to target, retaliate, or escape in a targeted manner. However, it has no way of knowing the specific details of the plan, and different Demon have different ranges of intuition, ranging from a few minutes to a day, and from a few kilometers to a metropolitan area."
"What's the contradiction between this and an encounter battle?" Hisoka asked, sitting upright with a mixture of indifference and curiosity.
"According to this description, the Demon should have been able to anticipate the encounter," Lumian laughed. "For example, even though I just wanted to go to the coffee shop today, I suddenly encountered Demon and had to kill him. Literally speaking, that Demon should have been able to foresee that my going to the Café would pose a fatal danger to him and acted accordingly, but that's not the case."
Seeing Hisoka's thoughtful expression, Lumian clasped his hands together:
"This shows that the Demon's Danger Prediction does not come from the realm of Destiny. If it Beyonder extraordinary abilities through the ' Monster ' Pathway, they would most likely suddenly realize that it's not a good day to drink coffee, thus avoiding danger. But you can't do that."
"If the Demon's premonition of danger doesn't stem from the ability to foresee Destiny, then where does it come from?"
"A high-ranking Devil once explained the concept of the Abyss to me. He believed that the Abyss had two meanings: one was material, with its entrance somewhere in the real world; the other was spiritual, with its entrance Depths within each of our hearts."
Based on the above analysis, I believe that the premise for Danger Prediction of Demon needs to be revised.
"That is, 'the enemy has a relatively clear idea, and can cause fatal harm to the Demon in a very short period of time, and has taken action to put it into practice.' Only in this way can the Demon sense it in advance."
"Do you understand? A clearer idea or intention."
Lumian, speaking in the tone of Lady "Magician," Provocation Hisoka and began to truly reveal his conspiracy:
"At first, I just probed little by little at https://www. hetushu. com. com, investigating step by step, and deliberately avoided touching on key information, so I didn't know who I was dealing with or what the general plan was."
"In other words, I don't have a clear idea or intention yet, nor do I have an effective plan that can cause you fatal harm in a very short period of time. Everything is vague, Chaos, has not yet begun, and is full of Change and surprises, so you naturally cannot sense the danger."
"However, your position allowed me to become aware of the case when I was investigating the serial murders four years ago, and you've been using the ' Wraith's' abilities and the Patrol Team members you control to keep an eye on it ever since, right?"
Hisoka listened indifferently, showing no intention of replying.
Lumian smiled and continued, "After roughly deducing that you Concealment in the Patrol Team as a ' Living Corpse ' Sequence Beyonder, I restrained my impulse and tried my best not to think about it. As soon as I got back to the Hotel, I immediately ' Teleportation ' to Trier."
"At this distance, you can't anticipate when I'm developing a plan and putting it into practice."
"After having a preliminary idea, I immediately went to find ' Sleeve Sword ' and two other companions. We discussed a detailed plan. It was a little after 7 p. m. Trier Time at that time."
"Next, the task will be broken down, with each person responsible for a part and undergoing 'hypnosis' by the ' Hypnotist ' to forget the true purpose until you, the Demon, appear, and then they will remember the relevant things."
"My mission is to pretend to leave using ' Teleportation,' then sneak back using Shadow Sneaking to track the Patrol Team member I traded with, my self-perceived purpose being to see if he has any problems."
"Sleeve Sword's mission is to follow me, provide necessary vigilance and assistance. If I use the ability of the ' Fictional Bottle,' she should put on the ' Ring of Punishment ' in advance and lie in ambush outside. As for why she lies in ambush, she doesn't know. She will only realize it when she sees you. With her combat experience and wisdom, she will naturally understand what to do next. I don't need to teach her or make detailed arrangements."
"That One ' Hypnotist's' task was to use ' Psychological Invisibility ' to roam the vicinity, just to roam."
"The other ' Witch ' is tasked with keeping an eye on the Patrol Team and calling the police immediately if she discovers anything unusual. Before you arrived, she also didn't know why she was doing this; she just thought we were after the Patrol Team."
"Before the 'hypnosis' automatically ends, none of us intend to harm you. Individually, none of our actions could cause you fatal harm, so you naturally cannot foresee it."
"This is a premeditated encounter, an encounter that pits you against multiple people."
After uttering that last sentence, Lumian suddenly heard a sound of illusion shattering.
He felt his "Conspirer Potion" had been completely digested.
He also sensed that Hisoka's seemingly indifferent expression harbored growing remorse and regret, which were gnawing at his heart.
Lumian's smile widened. He stood up, leaned forward, and brought his head close to "Hisoka's" front, looking into "Hisoka's " Linen-Colored eyes, which were etched with blood vessels, and said, "Your biggest Error was not escaping from Port Pylos beforehand and staying with the Patrol Team."
Why are you so confident I can't find you?
"How do you know I like unsweetened Fellmer Coffee?" Hisoka countered with a question instead of an answer.
Lumian sensed that his anger and murderous intent had reached a considerable level. He straightened up and replied with a smile, "My Older Sister often says that everything leaves a trace, and one of my companions is a Trace Expert."
"Heh, Emperor Roselle probably said something similar, you must know exactly what he meant."
Hisoka gripped the armrests of the chair tightly with both hands and asked again, "Why are you so sure I would kill Kolobo?"
Lumian replied, feeling completely relaxed, "I'm not sure."
"Didn't I tell you that I have ' Witch ' companions monitoring the Patrol Team?"
"Both ' Sleeve Sword ' and 'I' believe that if you ultimately choose to escape, you'll definitely do something to vent your inner bloodlust. Otherwise, you, with your ' Demon ' and ' Prisoner ' Pathway, might run into trouble. And since you're going to kill, it's either the Patrol Team members I traded with, or Camus who gave me the information; it's either at the Matani Shop or within the Patrol Team."
At this point, Lumian chuckled and guessed, "A significant reason you risked staying in Port Pylos, staying with the Patrol Team, was that you wanted to wait for an opportunity to kill me? To find a chance to kill this very promising young man, under the watchful eyes of the ' Tarot Club ' and the ' Curly-Haired Baboon Research Society,' and then escape unscathed, would be the best way to satisfy your Distortion mind?"
Hisoka subconsciously licked his lips:
"I originally intended to wait a while, until you lost patience, until an opportunity arose, before making my move, but now it seems you didn't ask for the help of those Half-God, you only sought out ' Hella '."
"I should have raided you last night."
Hisoka no longer hid his frustration.
Lumian didn't respond to the topic immediately, and after thinking for a few seconds, said, "I'm still waiting for an opportunity... You're very confident in Concealment your identity, and you're not afraid of a normal investigation."
"Is the reason related to the Patrol Team's leadership allowing a ' Prisoner ' Pathway Sequence 6 to join the Patrol Team?"
Hisoka shut his mouth, responding with silence.
"It seems there's a significant secret Concealment here." Lumian suddenly sensed a conspiracy. "Is your waiting opportunity to make your move also related to this secret?"
Hisoka remained silent, but his eyes had changed, becoming more bloodthirsty and filled with a murderous desire.
"You don't want to talk about it?" Lumian laughed. "That's alright, let's talk about something else first."
He bent down again, looking at "Hisoka" and said, "For this operation, I only contacted ' Hella,' firstly to guard against the Norse Family Devil who have established contact with you, and secondly to provide an environment for peaceful communication with you."
Upon hearing about the Devil from the Norse Family, Hisoka's eyes subtly Change again:
How did you know?
Lumian didn't answer, but the corners of her mouth curled up even more.
"I'm only looking for ' Hella ' because I want to capture you alive with my own strength and that of my companions."
"Each of us is weaker than you, and each of us is someone you could easily slaughter. But we've formed a team, we've cooperated, and now you're here, about to fall into Hell."
Hisoka crushed the armrest of the chair with a snap, but couldn't launch any attack on Lumian.
Looking into his Blood-Colored eyes, Lumian took out Golden-Yellow Straw Hat from the "Traveler’s Bag," pressed it to his chest, and bowed.
"I'll be leaving for a bit," he said with a smile.
The next second, Lumian was out of the Dream.
He quickly changed his posture, which was leaning against the broken Stone Pillars, and took out Gardner Martin's Beyonder Characteristic, Teeth, blood, Venom of the Rainbow-Bearded Horned Lizard, Hornbeam Essential Oil, and other items from the "Traveler’s Bag".
He had just truly felt Hisoka's fear, anger, and frustration. Although it occurred in a dream, it was reflected in Hisoka 'Hisoka brain and body, real and intense.
He's going to concoct the "Reaper" Potion.
