Upon hearing the sounds coming from behind the door, all the Serious Criminals except Lumian changed their expressions.

"What's behind the door?" Gei blurted out.

Is this so-called Banishment actually sending someone to be eaten by a Monster?

"Behind the door is a road leading to your place of Banishment," the beautiful Lady with the oval face replied simply. "There won't be Monster waiting to devour you there, but it is indeed very dangerous. I don't know exactly what the danger is, but there is certainly hope for your survival, which is much better than being hanged or shot."

Gei, Lies, and the others exchanged glances, then looked at the Clergy around them dressed in plain white Robe trimmed with brass threads. They were tempted to make a move, but ultimately restrained themselves.

They believed they were no match for the Clergy of the Church of Knowledge, and That One beautiful Women who was responsible for reading the Judgement was clearly of higher status.

The outwardly refined Gei turned his gaze to Lumian and found that the wanted criminal, who claimed to have committed multiple serious crimes, was calm and fearless.

"I will open that door in a moment. You may enter on your own. Those who remain will be punished even more severely and executed on the spot." The beautiful Women with an oval face raised her hands, and countless illusory points of light seemed to appear in her light blue Eyes.

Dark, almost black rain fell silently from a height of four meters, drenching Lumian and the others.

Lumian suddenly felt a surge of irritation, and a hint of violent emotion welled up within him.

It seemed as if Ombella's Bloodline was stirring.

"What did you do to us?" Gei asked, his voice filled with suspicion.

That One beautiful Women, wearing a Ivory jacket trimmed with brass thread, said in a teaching tone, "This is a secret technique called ' Harpus's Sterilizing Rain,' which renders you infertile, but you can recover through the corresponding secret technique or a professional Doctor."

"We don't want any babies to be born in Banishment; they are innocent."

The Sterilization Rain... No wonder Ombella's Bloodline was stimulated, showing such a clear reaction... I wonder if this secret technique has had any effect on me now, or if it has been neutralized by the special properties of Ombella's bloodline... If it really works, when I am influenced by the "Great Mother's " Gifted and conceived by Ombella in the future, will the sterilization effect prevent the embryo from implanting successfully? This may depend on the level of influence... Lumian thinks the "Sterilization Rain" isn't such a bad thing after all.

The other Serious Criminals also didn't see this as a problem. They either already had offspring, or were cold-blooded and Personality, or Distortion and perverse, and didn't find anything lovable about children who bore their bloodline.

The beautiful Women with an oval face took a few steps back, faced the brass door, stretched out her hands, and pressed something in the air.

The door creaked open slowly with a heavy metallic scraping sound.

For some reason, Gei and the others suddenly felt a longing and involuntarily went through the door into the deep Passageway behind.

Unbeknownst to them, apart from the beautiful Women with the oval face, the other Clergy of the Church of Knowledge had already retreated to the beginning of the corridor and stood on the steps when the brass doors opened.

Lumian also felt a longing, and at the same time, he felt that something familiar yet unknown was calling to him from the Depths the Passageway.

He was walking in the middle of the group when he heard a door slam shut behind him.

The light in the Passageway suddenly became extremely dim, with only the luminous gems embedded in the walls providing some illumination.

"How extravagant..." Lumian exclaimed instinctively.

At this moment, the seemingly refined Gei glanced around and said, "Should we stay here and wait until there are fewer guards outside, then try to break through this door and escape?"

"Do you think those who were Banishment before didn't think of this?" Wijepan sneered. "Besides, we're still wearing shackles, how are we supposed to escape?"

Lumian watched coldly and noticed that Gei was actually able to resist his inner desires to escape, while the other Serious Criminals had already begun to find various reasons to reject his suggestion.

After they argued for two or three minutes, Lumian asked casually, "Do we have any food?"

What if the security loopholes outside only appear once every few days?

Without giving Gei a chance to answer, Lumian continued, "Actually, there is food; each of you is food."

At this point, Lumian looked at That One Human Flesh Chef, Lies, and asked with a smile, "What's the best way to cook people like us?"

"It's suitable for stewing and marinating, but you need to add the right spices to prevent it from becoming too sour." Lies's seemingly honest face suddenly lit up.

After a few seconds of silence, wearing handcuffs and shackles, Gei slowly walked Depths into the Passageway, with Lumian following behind at the same pace.

They had been walking for a long time; Lumian felt it must have been seven or eight hours, but then doubted whether his perception of time was wrong.

Throughout this process, no one chose to stay; the place ahead seemed not to be Banishment City, but a land of hope.

They also frequently heard those indescribable, terrifying sounds, prompting Lies, the cannibal and book Chef, to remark, "We're like walking down the long esophagus of some Monster, heading towards its Stomach, and the sounds we hear are the rustling of its stomach digesting."

Lumian wholeheartedly agreed, while the others suddenly felt a chill run down their spines.

Finally, they saw the stone steps leading upwards.

This seems to indicate that the finish line is near.

After climbing the steps and pushing open the half-closed heavy Wooden Door, Lumian and the others were immediately blinded by the bright Sunlight, causing them to instinctively close their eyes. The indescribable, chilling sound vanished instantly.

Almost simultaneously, a gentle voice rang in their ears:

Welcome to Morola, the Banishment City.

As expected... Lumian breathed a silent sigh of relief, opened his eyes, and looked around.

They were in the main prayer hall of a Church, where Sunlight streamed through Stained Glass windows, creating a sacred and radiant scene.

Inside the hall, the walls without glass are adorned with murals depicting myths and legends, while below stand rows of bookshelves, seemingly crafted from brass, filled with all sorts of books and Exam Paper.

This makes the place more like Library than Church.

The speaker was an elderly man in his sixties or seventies, wearing a plain white Robe inlaid with brass threads. His hair was gray, and his amber eyes were gentle and clear, without the slightest hint of cloudiness. He held a thick book in his left palm and was a typical scholar-type Clergy of the Church of Knowledge.

But Lumian felt it didn't look like a real person and suspected it was some kind of specially made Puppet.

"Morola? This place is called Morola?" Gei opened his eyes and asked curiously.

The old man nodded:

"I am Heraberg, in charge of all theological affairs in Morola."

As he spoke, he extended his right hand and pointed at Lumian and the others.

The handcuffs, leg irons, and Iron Chain piercing the collarbone suddenly became extremely soft, as if made of mud.

With a series of clanging sounds, they detached from the bodies of the Serious Criminals and crashed onto the Gray-White Stone Slab of the ground.

This sight sent a chill down the spines of the Serious Criminals, causing them to abandon some of their ill-conceived plans.

Heraberg then handed over the thick book and the brass-cased Fountain Pen he was holding:

"Please register your names here; this signifies that you have officially become residents of Morola."

Lumian followed the rules completely, taking the book and writing down the name "Louis".

Next was Gei, who, holding a book and Fountain Pen, tentatively asked Heraberg:

How can you be sure we wrote our real names?

Heraberg calmly replied, "The Past doesn't matter; in Morola, what matters is the present and the Future."

Gei pondered for a while, somewhat confused about what the Clergy Heraberg was trying to say.

Considering that the Church of Knowledge could exchange information via Telegram and other means, he did not create a pseudonym for the register and honestly used his real name.

After all the Serious Criminals had completed their registration, Heraberg looked at Lumian and the others and said, "The rules must be followed here as well. Most of the laws are the same as in other cities in Lenburg, but legal duels are allowed, as long as both parties agree. No one will be held responsible afterward. In addition, demonstrations that do not involve violence are permitted."

"We have a dedicated team responsible for maintaining order in Morola."

The seemingly unassuming middle-aged man Lies, asked, "Can we join the Law Enforcement Team?"

"The Law Enforcement Team is entirely composed of Experimental Subjects," Heraberg replied gently.

Gei pressed further, "Then how do we become Experimental Subjects?"

With a gloomy expression, Wijepan asked, "What happens if you break the law here? Jail, or the death penalty?"

Heraberg smiled and said, "The most severe punishment for breaking the law here is becoming Experimental Subjects."

"Wouldn't that make you a law enforcer?" Gei paused for a moment.

Doesn't this encourage us to break the law?

Lumian then recalled the term "Experimental Subjects" that frequently appeared in the "0-01" sealed documents.

Just from that document, he knew that becoming Experimental Subjects was definitely not a good thing.

Heraberg maintained his expression.

"Yes, but you must remember, besides the Church's caretakers, at least two Experimental Subjects are lost every day."

"Scrapped... "Gei and the others felt that this strangely used word in this context carried an indescribable sense of horror.

"How many people are there in Morola now?" Lumian asked a very strange question.

Heraberg smiled and replied, "There are nearly 200,000 people. The city is surrounded by Farms, Mine, and Factory; it's all part of Morola."

"Nearly 200,000 people, does Lenburg have that many Serious Criminals?" Lumian asked, slightly surprised.

Heraberg dutifully explained, "This is something that has been accumulated over generations; we even spend money to import Serious Criminals from abroad."

"Bringing in..." It's like bringing in talent... Lumian hesitated for a few seconds, not rushing to "commit a crime," but volunteering to become Experimental Subjects, hoping to have a chance to get close to the sealed "0-01".

He bid farewell to Heraberg and walked toward the entrance of the Library- like Church, intending to find the two parts of the body with the "Abscessed Severed Hand" first.
