An unconventional feint
Albus transformed into Blazing White- blue Flame Spear, flew to the top of the Corpse Mountain Peak, and flew towards Julie’s Contaminated Blood as it fell on the Burnt Banner.
In the blink of an eye, he lost his target, shed his Flames state, and landed next to the Corpse that should have been marked "0-01".
At the summit of the Corpse Mountain Peak, opening his eyes seemed to be no problem, Albus Medici knew this too. However, the charred Banner was no longer in his sight, nor was Julie's filthy blood and Sallys.
Having learned from his previous experience Albus quickly understood what was going on:
This is Mirror World, or a "Mirror Image Maze"!
Sallys couldn't have waited at the top of Corpse Mountain Peak for so long without making any preparations!
Just as Albus guessed, this was a "Mirror Image Maze" created by multiple Mirror reflecting each other. Sallys was standing outside the maze, her eyes filled with sorrow and confusion as she watched the pool of blood rushing towards the charred flag.
For some reason, the pool of blood fell slower and slower, as if it were being repelled by the "0-01" principle, but it still sank little by little unstoppably, only at a slower speed.
At this point, Albus tried using the Crystal Necklace Entanglement around his wrist, but there was no Mirror World for him to travel through and leave.
He used this to confirm that he was trapped in the "Mirror Image Maze," and immediately condensed a series of Blazing White and blue Fireball around himself, sending them falling in all directions to destroy the Concealment Mirror that made up the maze.
As the name suggests, the "Mirror Image Maze" is just a maze, not a true Barrier, and it has no defensive capabilities!
The deafening explosions rang out almost simultaneously, but Albus still couldn't break through the "Mirror Image Maze".
None of the Mirror were damaged!
Albus's Eyes flickered slightly, and he decisively abandoned other similar attempts.
Outside the "Mirror Image Maze," Sallys felt the shockwave from the explosion and sneered inwardly.
Elsewhere, the "Mirror Image Maze" would indeed be difficult to trap a "Hunter" capable of large-scale bombardment, but here is the Corpse Mountain Peak, the Core Area sealing "0-01".
As a "Witch of Pain" who has been somewhat Corruption by "0-01", Sallys, like Julie, can use a small amount of the power of that Special Mirror World!
The "Mirror Image Maze" she set up didn't have Mirror at the top of the Corpse Mountain Peak; instead, they were scattered among the Corpse and skeletons below. Then, through the reflection of that Special Mirror World, the images were projected onto the area around "0-01," forming the "Mirror Image Maze."
As Julie's pool of blood drew closer to the charred flag, Sallys felt a surge of joy mixed with bewilderment, but beneath these emotions lay an underlying Pain.
She produced a black, teardrop-shaped Forehead Ornament from somewhere and placed it between her eyebrows.
Inside the "Mirror Image Maze," Albus calmly lowered his head, half-closed his eyes, and prepared to do what he would inevitably have to do later.
He murmured in Ancient Hermetic: "Great God of War, symbol of iron and blood, Ruler of turmoil and strife."
As the Three-Part Honorific Name was recited, the Iron-Black Metal Banner Pole with the Burnt Banner hanging on it suddenly trembled, and the slightly drooping flag fully unfurled, fluttering in the windless environment, with each bloodstain on it becoming vivid.
Julie's bloody discharge hovered in mid-air, two or three meters above "0-01," as if being held up by an invisible hand.
The high-altitude clouds swirled rapidly, forming a Whirlpool larger than the Mountain Peak, tinged with a pale purple flame. At the end of the Whirlpool, something enormous seemed to want to come over, but it could not penetrate the Barrier.
Crackling sounds echoed around the "Salinger Blood Banner," and cracks appeared out of thin air, quickly shattering.
The Special Mirror World covering the summit of the Corpse Mountain Peak was destroyed, and the "Mirror Image Maze" became ineffective.
Albus raised his head, his Eyes now a darker, more iron-black hue, and a Blood-Colored mark between his brows, glistening with crimson.
His gaze fell on Sallys, who had already put on the black teardrop- Forehead Ornament, and Sallys looked back at him.
Future engage in combat, they saw Lumian "easily" climb to the top of the Corpse Mountain Peak, only seven or eight meters away from "0-01".
Without needing to communicate, Albus and Sallys simultaneously launched an attack on Lumian.
The former casually swung his fist, but a large amount of almost blue Flames surged out and condensed into a huge Fireball. Around the latter's head, Frost appeared and turned into Mirror, and in front of each Mirror, Evil and restrained black Flames Burning quietly.
Just as the Frost Mirror created by Sallys was about to reflect Lumian, Lumian's figure suddenly faded, disappearing from the spot with a mocking smile on his face.
Behind him, a huge figure suddenly rose up and came into Albus and Sallys's Eyes.
The figure was already five or six meters tall, but it seemed to be still growing, stretching out in different directions. Its body was either covered with Brown Bark or had grown rather disgusting Tree Burl. Clear liquid slowly flowed out from the gaps between the bark and the Tree Burl.
Currently, the Monster is holding its head, which is covered in blood and has a bloodstained Spine, in one hand. Above its head, the Eyes are silver-white with black, Aura of Death.
On either side of the Monster's shoulder were two fleshy lumps the size of a head, their interiors shimmering with Waterlight, and containing what appeared to be a picture book.
The next second, the Monster leaped to the top of the Corpse Mountain Peak, dropping pools of flesh and blood made up of Maggots.
Behind it, countless black wisps pulled at it, trying to drag it back into the smooth, mirror-like Iron-Black Cuirass.
Just seeing this scene gave Sallys and Albus the feeling that they themselves were being Corruption.
The former's hair flew wildly, thick and thick, while the latter's face showed prominent black veins.
Boom!
Albus's Giant Fireball, almost blue with a few remnants of Blazing White, blasted into the Monster, while the Frost Mirror floating near Sallys's head reflected the Monster's image, followed by clusters of Black Flame engulfing it.
Snap!
The Monster shattered like Mirror, its silhouette instantly appearing next to "0-01".
This gave Albus and Sallys a chill down their spines—this Monster even had a "Mirror Substitute."
The Monster raised its head and emitted a sound that seemed to come from a phantom world.
Sallys suddenly felt as if she had been trapped in Pitch-Black and cold environment, feeling restricted and suppressed in every way, and unable to break free for a short time.
Albus was also enveloped in dense darkness.
This is a secret technique, one that Gei created inspired by the "Person in the Mirror" situation.
At this moment, Lumian had "Teleportation" to the bottom of the Corpse Mountain Peak to avoid the previous collision, "Teleportation" back.
His silhouette was silhouetted against the darkness behind Albus Medici, his mouth agape, emitting a "ha" sound.
A puff of pale yellow gas shot out and landed on Albus.
Albus's eyes Cavern over for a moment, his body swayed slightly, but he regained his composure.
He has a "Red Angel" who helps him absorb some of the effects of the "Heng-Ha Art".
Seizing the opportunity when Albus, Lumian's left fist Burning into a Blazing White Flames as he slammed it into his opponent's weak point—the neck that connects the head and the body.
"Harvest!"
The moment Lumian's fist touched Albus's neck, the Medici Family member instantly transformed into a ball of Blazing White and blue humanoid Flames.
This wasn't a combination with Flame Spear; it truly became Flames itself.
In his Flames form, Albus's neck is no longer a weak point!
Bang!
Lumian's punch only caused the humanoid Flames to tremble slightly and dim a little.
Immediately afterwards, Albus transformed into a Burning Flame Spear, breaking free from the shackles of cold darkness and soaring into the air.
He immediately changed direction, like a spear thrown by Hidden Being within a high Whirlpool, carrying dozens of Blazing White and blue Fireball, crashing down on the top of the Corpse Mountain Peak.
Rumble, rumble, rumble!
Terrifying explosions covered the area, occurring one after another.
This caused the indescribable Monster to use "Mirror Substitute" time and time again, yet it was still unable to escape the blast radius.
Lumian, however, was one step ahead and "Teleportation" back to the bottom of the Corpse Mountain Peak.
"He can still ' Teleportation '? Severed-Hand Brother isn't dead yet?" As Lumian felt a chill run down his spine, he saw Sallys's face reflected on the surface of the Iron-Black Cuirass of a nearby Corpse.
Instead of using the "Mirror Substitute" to withstand Albus's attack, this "Witch" chose to throw a Mirror and quickly travel through the Mirror World to the Wilderness —this was also Lumian's alternative plan.
Seeing that Sallys was not attacking him for the time being, Lumian withdrew his gaze and looked towards the top of the Corpse Mountain Peak.
He wasn't disappointed that he hadn't seized the opportunity to eliminate Albus; this was exactly the result he wanted.
If he wanted to kill Albus that attack, he wouldn't have used only his own "Harvest" technique; he would have drawn the "Sword of Courage" or covered him with the "Avatar of Desire" technique!
"If I really kill Albus now, who will help me get rid of Sallys and that Monster? Am I going to do it all by myself?" Lumian muttered to himself with obvious malice.
His attack just now had a Concealment purpose:
That was to deceive Albus, to make him believe that he couldn't break through Albus's defenses, and to make him believe that the Pitch-Black Bone Ring he wore on his hand couldn't target him!
When the crucial moment arrives, we can exploit his misjudgment in this area to give him a "surprise"!
The rumbling explosions finally subsided, and the Corpse and skeletons atop the Corpse Mountain Peak were severely damaged, while Julie's filthy blood had dissipated somewhat.
The indescribable Monster no longer had its "Mirror Substitute"; its body was now tattered and charred black.
Albus, his Eyes as black as iron, and pushed forward.
One after another Blazing White and blue Fire Raven circled and flew toward the Monster's belly, covering the sky and continuing endlessly.
Rumble!
The Monster, its weak points repeatedly struck, staggered and collapsed, falling completely to pieces.
Seeing this, Lumian immediately drew a Straight Sword that resembled the "Sword of Courage" and "Teleportation" to the top of the Corpse Mountain Peak. Sallys was also heading there.
