The Traders
As the Gray-White crystal clusters were enveloped by the mist, they disintegrated and merged into it. The White Fog that Perle was incarnate with rapidly expanded into a huge, strange Whirlpool.
Within the Whirlpool, the face of this "Supervisor" appeared and disappeared, sometimes Distortion, sometimes normal.
She gazed at the sky, her voice becoming ethereal, and spoke in the "Word of Order": "Bernadette offered the location information of the Primitive Island where Roselle's Mausoleum is situated, the site of the Whirlpool Ritual, and some materials, requesting a Gray Transaction. Her desired reward is the great ' Mist of Uncertainty ' bestowing its Gift upon Roselle, allowing the Corruption within Him to truly reach balance."
As soon as Perle finished speaking, a point of light lit up within the white Whirlpool.
Within the point of light lies a deep, Dark Void, at the very center of which sits a solid and massive Planet, Planet surface shrouded in layers of ever- Change White Fog.
Suddenly, a wisp of the White Fog that could envelop the Planet separated and fell toward the edge of the point of light, where there seemed to be an invisible Barrier.
The White Fog then spread out, becoming nothingness. Then, with the power of the Ritual, with the secret Dark Box containing the Truth, and with the cracks in the surface of the invisible Barrier, it cleverly passed Past and landed on the White Fog Perle had become, and on that blurry face that was sometimes ferocious and sometimes smiling.
The two have merged into one.
Immediately afterwards, a large portion of the White Fog that Perle had transformed into flowed slowly like a river towards the "Black Emperor" Mausoleum, which had been built by hollowing out the mountainside, seeping into it endlessly.
The "Queen of Mysteries" Bernadette turned her body away from the Mausoleum.
Her chestnut hair suddenly parted, revealing a pair of cold, ruthless, transparent eyes at the back of her head, while her other facial features blurred and slowly took shape around these eyes.
It's like another version of her is growing out.
Bernadette glimpsed several scenes inside the black Mausoleum, confirming that her Slumber father, Roselle, had been enveloped by the incoming White Fog.
This gradually seeped into Roselle's body, beginning to Distortion the ever- Rebirth Corruption and slowing its progress.
Similarly, it also Distortion the very force that causes Rebirth Corruption to die off rapidly.
Because there is a significant difference in the amount of white fog Corruption compared to the original Corruption, it will take some time to maintain the Ritual in order to achieve a true balance among the various factors.
At that moment, in the azure sky dotted with fluffy white clouds, the Sun, which was not yet at noon, suddenly burst forth with dazzling light, as if it had sensed an unusually dangerous Gray Transaction taking place on this Primitive Island.
Perle's face, enhanced by the wisp of White Fog within the light spot, became increasingly blurry and abstract. The mist, in turn, expanded to completely envelop the treeless area, though it did not approach Bernadette or the "Black Emperor's " Mausoleum.
One by one, points of light appeared within the mist.
Perle's Distortion face gazed at one of the points of light, and he spoke in an even more ethereal and otherworldly voice, "The great ' Overlord of the Supernova ' has agreed to exert all its power to suppress the Barrier, rendering all the True God located in the Astral World powerless to interfere with what lies within the Barrier..."
Just as Perle finished speaking, a burst of extremely bright light suddenly appeared in the spot of light she was staring at, light strong enough to devour all darkness and blind the Angel.
With this Change, the high sky was suddenly illuminated, like a Flash being thrown into a closed room.
Even Perle, protected by the Ritual, had to close his eyes.
Neither she nor the "Queen of Mysteries" Bernadette saw the sky turn into nothingness, and in the Depths of that nothingness seemed to be a transparent, cracked Barrier.
Within that void, there was a Sun painted on, a colossal object shrouded in dense darkness, a terrifying figure surrounded by Lightning Storm, a pair of Brass-Colored eyes that seemed to connect to a slender body, opened from a crack, Wheat Ears of wheat, Flowers, and springs filled a corner, and a hazy glimmer of light vaguely presented scenes of Civilization...
A massive, heavy, and dense "Fireball" slammed into the cracked, invisible Barrier, unleashing a dazzling light that illuminated the void completely and made the abstract patterns, seemingly composed of concepts, almost transparent.
This did not cause widespread Earthquake within the Barrier; it merely temporarily blinded people.
Perle's face, shrouded in White Fog, remained closed as he continued speaking in the "Word of Order": "The reward He demands is the breaking of the seal on the Spaceship Seabed Santa Port."
As soon as Perle finished speaking, one of the points of light grew slightly larger, reflecting the image of the azure Sea.
Finally, the bright light that had pierced the Barrier was no longer so dazzling. Perle opened his eyes, looked at the azure Sea within the corresponding point of light, and said in a faint voice, "' The Delicious Faction's' Topsey is willing to pay this reward..."
As Perle spoke, a terrifying Whirlpool suddenly appeared on the azure Sea.
A Monster emerged from the Whirlpool, tens or even hundreds of meters tall. Its lower body resembled a giant snake, covered in shark-like skin with deeply hidden, Evil patterns. Its upper body split into nine necks, each bearing a different head: some like snakes, some like Great White Shark, some with wet, black wolf-like fur, and some resembling legendary dragons...
The most bizarre part is the head at its core. It looks like a human face, but it's just a mouth with Teeth so sharp they seem capable of crushing anything.
One head lunged at the invisible force sealing that Sea Area, biting and gnawing frantically. Other heads devoured schools of fish, spewed Venom at the seal, and attempted to influence it with their own abilities...
"What he needs is..." The Supervisor 'Perle voice, penetrating the white mist, reached the ears of the Queen of Mysteries Bernadette, "The return of the great Angel of ' Primordial Hunger '!"
Outside the White Fog, Bernadette had somehow conjured an ancient-looking spear. This spear had appeared in an untraceable ancient era, stained with the blood of a Great Ones, and covered with dark red blood spots and patches, seemingly capable of harming true Deity.
"Mystical Reappearance," "The Spear of Longinus"!
Bernadette hurled the ancient spear, which exuded Aura of Destruction, at the White Fog, but her target was not the "Supervisor" Perle, but the light spot that had just grown larger.
She wanted to stop the Gray Transaction from continuing and prevent the Whirlpool from spinning out and causing real harm. In any case, she had already achieved her goal, and all she needed to do now was maintain the status quo for a while!
The Spear of Longinus pierced the white mist and struck the point of light reflecting the azure Sea.
However, it failed to dim or extinguish the light, as if it had landed on the Phantom.
As the ancient spear dissipated, "Supervisor" Perle's face, adorned with an exaggerated smile, turned to Bernadette:
"The Whirlpool has already formed, and it won't stop unless you kill me."
"If I were to die now, Roselle would not be able to achieve true balance, and the fragile balance that has been broken could never be restored."
Bernadette paused abruptly.
Immediately afterward, Perle looked at another point of light and said in a faint, ethereal voice, "The one willing to provide assistance to Topsey of the ' Delicious Faction ' is Mr. Higdon of the ' Society of the End of All Things '."
The point of light that Perle was gazing at quickly grew slightly larger, revealing a lavishly furnished room.
Inside the room, an elderly man with graying but neatly combed hair sat quietly in Antique Armchair.
The old man was dressed in a crisp white shirt, a black suit, and a gray bow tie. He had a handsome, rugged face, but his exposed skin in different locations was intermittently ulcerated and oozing pus, and Maggots, the kind found only in decaying Corpse, would sometimes crawl out.
His deep, magnetic voice pierced through the light spots, entered the White Fog, and reached Perle's face:
"But I don't know where the target is in Trier."
Perle gave Distortion laugh, slightly raised his head, and shifted his gaze to one of the points of light located diagonally above him.
The point of light grew larger, revealing another room inside—a room without lights and with the doors and windows tightly shut.
Sunlight streamed into the dimly lit room through the Glass Window, making the countless Dust swirling in the air clearly visible.
Beneath the Dust was an ancient wooden Loom, and beside Loom sat a woman with black hair that reached her waist.
The woman had an ethereal air and a beautiful face, but her eyes were tightly closed as she kept pulling out strands of her hair and weaving them into the dense silk threads on the Machine.
Blood mixed with pus flowed from the corner of her eye; her left arm had been severed and fell to the ground; her legs, hidden by her white skirt, were empty; behind her stood a graceful Women Statues, Statues originally had no face, but was now gradually growing features similar to those of the woman.
The individual strands of hair on the Loom shimmered with a faint light, and within that faint light lay a wealth of information.
Seemingly having heard the question relayed by the "Supervisor" Perle, the woman ran her right hand through a few strands of black hair Entanglement in the Loom.
The strands of black hair she touched lit up, displaying corresponding information:
"The ' Rose School ' of Indulgence Faction brought the ' Shadow of the Goddess of Beauty ' to Trier, in order to get as close as possible to the Trier of the Fourth Epoch. They did it very secretly, without being discovered by the Half-God of Trier..."
"The Temperance Faction, belonging to the ' The Fool's ' Church, discovered the Indulgence Faction ' whereabouts and the presence of important items ahead of time, but they were too hesitant and did not take immediate action, instead waiting for an opportunity to complete their investigation, thus missing their chance..."
Lumian Lee moved Ludwig and the others to Safe House in the Botanical Garden of Trier's District 14. If he had known the Whirlpool would be so huge, he would have regretted not Teleportation his companions directly to New Silver City, but how could he have imagined it?
These intertwined Destiny have shaped a predictable Future.
The ethereal voice of "the Supervisor," Perle, echoed in the room:
"Heroes, the Waiter of Destiny Heros initiator of the ' Dreamseekers,' is responsible for orchestrating the entire affair, ensuring some parts proceed smoothly without arousing the suspicion of those in High-Ranking Being. She will also provide positions for two Angel..."
As Perle spoke, the woman named Heros flicked her finger on the thread of Destiny that represented Lumian and Ludwig's transfer to the new Safe House.
A ray of light then leaped out, splitting into three pieces, which entered the White Fog that Perle had transformed into, and flew off to different places.
