Shen Ye used the Destruction Boat’s power to trap and absorb one of the monster’s tentacles, suspected something was hidden inside the Destruction Calamity, and gained the Body Hair Collector trait.

• The Withering Scepter forced Augustus to stab Shen Ye, then broke free of Cassandra’s control and transformed into a tentacled monster.
• Cassandra allied with Shen Ye and used her Hell on Earth Dharma Form to attack the monster, while Shen Ye was caught in its black-light spell.
• Shen Ye realized the attack might not be the Destruction Calamity itself and joined forces with the Destruction Boat to capture a severed tentacle in his Dharma Form.
• Shen Ye absorbed the tentacle’s power and proposed that an entity trapped inside the Destruction Calamity was driving it to destroy worlds.
• Shen Ye wielded destruction power to repel the monster’s attacks and received the new trait Body Hair Collector.

Shen Ye was dragged into the depths of the Destruction Calamity, escaped Augustus with the Destruction Boat, and reached a strange river that stripped away his powers. After naming the river Many-Brained River, he gained a branch to conceal his destructive aura but remained stranded in the dangerous world.

• The Body Hair Collector trait transported Shen Ye into the Destruction Calamity, where Augustus trapped him in a river and offered him slavery or death.
• Shen Ye used the Destruction Boat to withstand the river and escaped through the Endless Destruction Throne, but Augustus fled from a greater threat in the mist.
• Shen Ye left the gate and encountered a river spirit that suppressed his power and demanded a name in exchange for protection.
• Shen Ye transformed into a duck with the Mighty Duck trait, retrieved his Eternal Brain, and named the river Many-Brained River.
• Many-Brained River accepted its name and gave Shen Ye a dead branch that concealed his destructive aura, leaving him stranded and unsure how to return.

Shen Ye used the Eternal Brain’s escape pod and the Many-Brained River’s protection to hide from a deathly buzzing that controlled bodies and thoughts. After deceiving Augustus into pursuing a false lead, Shen Ye survived long enough to gain two new Traits.

• The duck hid in a cave, but a decay force and an eerie buzzing began to rot its feathers and control its thoughts.
• The duck escaped into the Endless Destruction Throne and detonated a summoned big duck against Augustus, then fled while carrying the gate.
• As the buzzing overtook him again, Shen Ye used the Heaven-Piercing Art to restore the escape pod to its state from a day earlier, then separated his brain from his body and hid deep in the Many-Brained River.
• Su Su reported that eyeballs were falling from the sky, while Augustus searched the river for the duck and Shen Ye.
• Shen Ye’s brain tricked Augustus by pointing him toward a false trail, and Augustus left the river to pursue it.
• Shen Ye gained the Traits “That Was Ducking Close!” and “The Longest-Surviving Man.”
